We had decided to replace our old plastic-laminate kitchen countertops with solid-surface countertops, so we visited the showrooms and factories of two of the companies we found on Angie's List. We decided on an LG Hausys product. So we then talked with, and requested quotes from the two companies we visited, and a third company, all of which offered the product we wanted. As we expected, there wasn't a big difference in price among the 3 companies. The matter of which company to choose was made very easy for us. Artisan Countertop Builders, Inc. offered the most competitive price, but we would have chosen them regardless. Brian Klatt, one of the owners, instilled a very high level of confidence in us that they could supply exactly what we wanted, in the manner we wanted. We wanted a particular degree of matte finish, so before we signed a purchase agreement with them they were happy to provide us a large sample article, against which we could judge the final product. We also needed two special and quot;spacerand quot; treatments on one of the backsplashes to accommodate electrical outlets which were installed in the old backsplashes. They offered a very reasonable price for fabricating and installing the outlet spacers as part of their quote. We chose Artisan for the job. Brett Klatt, the other owner, really delivered on the installation. We are very pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail, and we are completely satisfied. Both Brian and Brett told us that if we found anything in the job that needed attention to let them know. Would we recommend them to our friends? Indeed we would.

Great. They got it done in the time frame the said it be. They delivered on time. The workmanship is fantastic.

The new countertop is stunning. We had the kitchen replaced 12 years ago. When the workers tore out the tile on the wall, they found the tile had been taped in. They had to put in drywall. It took 3 days to do the drywall because they wanted it perfect. The worker who put in the tile works at a tile store and came in on a Sunday to install the tile. Very impressive work.
