West Side Glass Block

I got a quote from Jeff Spurio at West Side Glass Block because I was so thrilled with the four glass block windows that the company installed. I had obtained other quotes on replacement windows, but what cinched the deal was when Jeff sent the window installer, Bob Gerk, Jr., to obtain measurements and answer my questions. My house had some unusual windows, and after talking to Bob, I was certain that he and his associate, Corey, were the right people to install the replacements. It is absolutely amazing how these new windows have transformed the look of the house (and the energy efficiency, too). Bob is a true professional and did a fabulous job. I highly recommend these windows and especially Bob Gerk, Jr. as installer.

Great experience. Jeff was very helpful and courteous. The price was great and the quality of the work was top notch.

The salesman came over at the appointed time, gave us an estimate which was reasonable, set a time for the work to be done. The worker arrived on the appointed date on time and did the work. The worker was very, very sloppy in performing the work. He tracked up and left a trail of cement from the front door way down to the basement. In addition, he stained my driveway with the cement used to replace the glass block because he did not take any care what-so-ever in mixing the cement on my driveway. Very sloppy and the driveway is stained. I tried to clean it off but it didn't come off. I would not hire this company again.

This company's overall performance was excellent. Jeff Spurio came out to do the measuring and estimate. He arrived on time, was courteous and not pushy. He inspired confidence in West Side to do the job skillfully and with very good materials. The installer (Stan) arrived on the right day/time. He went right to work, seemed very skilled and organized with his removal and installation process. The windows are well caulked all around and very neatly done. Stan cleaned up his work areas too. He was very courteous and pleasant when I praised the job he did. The new windows reflect sunlight into the once dark basement without sacrificing privacy and allow fresh air to be circulated as well. I am so glad I had this done; worth every cent of the reasonable cost.

They came on time and did the job. They re-caulked another window that they were not installing. They were accommodating. I am physically not able to see the work to grade quality, but assume they did a good job.

Jeff, the sales rep, was extremely knowledgeable, polite and professional. He was patient in answering my questions and provided me with options and considerations (since these weren't typical windows). The installers did a terrific job, and I've received many compliments on their work and how great the windows look. This was not an easy job, but they worked hard and didn't complain. The company provided quality windows and followed through on their promises.

I thought they were well represented, delivered what they said they would. The service person was actually the sales person. I liked that, because he was the person who was promising what would be done. I was glad to have made his acquaintance, and he did quality work.

The work was done very well. We were in a bit of a time crunch and West Side Glass Block accommodated our schedule. They did a really nice job. The installer even walked me through the installation process and shared some tips for upkeep.

The work was done on time, the space was left clean, we were charged exactly as estimated, and we are very satisfied with the windows.

Installers were earlier than expected(not by much). Very professional, cleaned up after they were done, polite. Reasonably priced.

BOTH THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE, JEFF, AND THE WINDOW INSTALLER, TODD, ARRIVED ON TIME FOR THEIR RESPECTIVE TASKS, AND WERE PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, AND INFORMATIVE. TODD WAS VERY HELPFUL IN DETERMINING WHAT TYPES OF WINDOWS (VENTS OR NOT) SHOULD GO WHERE, WORKED DILIGENTLY, AND CLEANED UP HIS WORK AREA WELL. THE PRICE OF THE JOB WAS CONSISTENT WITH OTHER ESTIMATES. THE WINDOWS LOOK GREAT.

THE PERSON WHO DID THE QUOTE WAS VERY THROUGH. I WAS IMPRESSED WITH THEIR KNOWLEDGE. HOWEVER, I CHOSE ANOTHER VENDOR WHO WAS EQUALLY AS IMPRESSIVE, BUT HAD A BETTER PRICE. IN FACT I HAD THEM QUOTE ON REPLACING MY HOUSE WINDOWS AS WELL.

OVERALL VERY GOOD. WORK WAS DONE PROMPTLY AND COMPLETELY. CLEAN UP WAS SATISFACTORY AND COMPLETE.

BOTH THE SALESMAN AND THE ACTUAL WORKMEN WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY CAME WHEN THEY WERE SUPPOSE TO, REPLACED THE WINDOWS, DID A GOOD JOB, CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES, LEFT NO MESS. THEY WERE VERY EFFICIENT AND I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK.

STEVE HALLER GAVE ME A NO FUSS NO MUSS ESTIMATE. THEY CAME OUT AND REPLACED THE WINDOWS IN ONE DAY. THEY LOOK GREAT! THE TEAM (2 GUYS) WERE ON TIME, AND VERY NEAT, AND VERY NICE.

THIS WAS AN EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE WITH AN EXCELLENT PRICE. THREE OTHER LOCAL QUOTES WERE $50-$100 HIGHER. INSTALLER WAS TRUE PROFESSIONAL. COURTEOUS, PROMPT AND QUALITY WORKMAN.

THE SALES MAN DID NOT MEASURE THE CORRECT SIZE OF THE WINDOW. WHEN THE INSTALLER CAME TO PUT THE WINDOW IN THE GLASS BLOCK WINDOW WAS TO BIG FOR THE HOLE. SO I HAD TO WAIT TILL THE NEXT DAY TO GET THE WINDOW INSTALLED.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS COMPANY, FROM OFFICE STAFF AND FIELD WORKERS TO THE SURPRISINGLY LOW PRICE, THEIR EFFORT AND HELPFULNESS, WAS EXCELLENT.

I WAS DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY. AFTER HAVING THIS WINDOW REPLACED, I CHECKED AROUND AND HE WAS ON A AVERAGE, $50 HIGHER THAN TWO OTHER COMPANIES I CHECKED WITH. HE WAS ALSO TO REPLACE A VENT IN ANOTHER WINDOW. AFTER TWO MONTHS, HE HAS NOT RESPONDED TO MY CALL. THIS VENT WAS INCLUDED IN THE $175 SERVICE THAT I PAID HIM FOR.
