They were on time and did the job quickly. They really did an excellent job and I have no complaints. I would use them again if needed.

I had 6 glass block windows and 3 vents installed in my basement. The price was in line with other estimates. I choose West Side Glass Block because they made the best first impression. The job went well from beginning to end. I was very pleased. There were no problems.

They did a very good job with the glass block. I felt that their price was reasonable. They were responsive to me throughout the project. They were very thorough in explaining everything to me, from the windows to the codes for glass block. They made recommendations, without being pushy. I have been very pleased with the window in the garage, because in the summer I can leave it open and it airs out the garage and it is supposed to seal better than the old window in the winter.

They were here three to four days after the break in. They did a great job. They did the work on a cold and snowy day. I explained the situation about my house being broken into and they put my installation above others because of the situation; that is why I would highly recommend them!

One of my basement glass block windows broke. I received two estimates and although the other estimate was lower I discovered the measurement was not correct. West Side Glass Block also had an option to construct the window with silicone so that it could withstand pressure better. It only took them a few days to install the window. The installer did a very good job. He was very neat and cleaned everything up. I did not find any debris left after he finished.

Jeff was on time (actually early) for the estimate. He clearly explained the types of product, what would be done and my available options. In leaving, he made himself available by phone for any followup questions--which I had and which he gladly answered. I was initially impressed just by the company's AL ratings. But the deal closer was the fact that this company had done similar work for two of my neighbors. And they couldn't have been more complimentary of the work that had been performed for them. The installer (Mike) was on time; worked tirelessly; did a fine job on the windows and cleaned up any mess that resulted from his work. The cost was the second-lowest of four estimates--but in the ballpark of the two higher estimates. And, truth be told, the lowest estimate was not a "final cost." Rather, because I did not meet with the assessor personnally, I had to pick my options and tally up my own final estimate. So I was a little uncomfortable with it. But, again, having my neighbors first-hand assessment of the company's work was the deciding factor. And they definitley stepped up to the bar.

Jeff Spurio quoted our job. He was professional, informative and courteous. He didn't give a high pressure sales pitch like so many others did. Additionally, the price Jeff quoted us was less than any other quotes we received and I liked the idea that the window we were going to get was a Consumers Digest Best Buy. Jeff was responsive and patient with us throughout the whole process. The gentleman who did the installation of the windows was polite and very professional. He cleaned up after himself and did a wonderful job. I love the new windows! I HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone considering replacement windows!

I had 3 estimates and this company was the best price, the most courteous, and were very honest people. The offered suggestions that were both needed and appropriate. We hadn't clued them in on our expectations and they nailed every one of them. I hired them on the spot and I'm so glad I did, what a beautiful job!!!!

Good, I did not go with this company because I got a more thorough estimate from a different company.

Jeff came out to give me an estimate on the cost of the windows, explaining that pricing depends on the size of the window and block style. Once I decided to use their services, I called to put down a deposit in order for them to schedule the job. They came out a week and a half later to do the install. Originally, I was told the job would take about 5 hours, but the two men who came out and did the work only took about 2-3 hours total. They were punctual (early, actually), worked efficiently, were friendly, and left no mess behind. They even redid one of my sills that was cracked and uneven.

They worked quickly and were responsive to my call. They were neat and didn't leave a lot of debris laying around. I would recommend them and use them again.

This went very well. I contacted them on a Wednesday to describe what the plumbers would need. They contacted the plumbing contractor to confirm, and arranged to do the work two days later when the plumbers would be there. Adapted to my work schedule and arrived exactly on time, completing the work within several hours. The work was well done. As well as the cleanup. The only issue was not having an estimate left in my mailbox as I'd requested; I called for it instead.

They did a great job and cleaned everything up afterwards. I don't know how they got the window up the stairs, but they managed without any trouble. Very pleased and would definitely hire again.

I use screen in upper part. When I pushed the screen in this one in the upper portion, it doesn't fit. The salesman told me he would have another screen made to fit. I would then have both screens, one for the bottom and a new one for the top portion. He said he'd put a rush on it. Weeks went by. Also, installer didn't install window properly. It was rattling. Salesman sent someone from the manufacturer out to look at it. It was also leaking air. Salesman came out and I assumed it was to bring the extra screen, but he was coming to get money. I asked about the screens again. I told them I would pay them as soon as I get the screen. He then said that the manufacturer said that it was the proper screen. I can't use the screen that came with it. He said OK and started to leave and then came back and re-measured again. I don't think he ever did any of the things he told me he was doing. I don't think it was insulated properly either. He added silicone caulk where it was leaking air.

They did a good job. They were extremely reasonable. Much cheaper than some of the estimates that I got from others. I would highly recommend them because of their promptness, their good work ethics, and they did a good job cleaning up afterwards.

I received an estimate from Jeff at the beginning of October (and 2 other companies). He suggested using mortar, not silicone due to the size of my windows (not standard). The appointment was scheduled about two weeks out. There was no call the day before to confirm but the installer called the morning of the appointment to let me know he was on his way. After the installer arrived, I walked him through the rooms to show him the windows that were being replaced and then left him to his work. I forgot to remove the window treatments on one window, which he removed himself, some mortar did get on these, I have not tried to clean it yet, but have chalked it up to "lessons learned." I should have removed it ahead of time. After completing the work, he cleaned up behind himself (some vacuuming remained). I then went through and examined the windows. They looked good except one was slightly crooked. He corrected the issue immediately.

The estimate was prompt, the work was done promptly and on time. The exterior appearance and alignment was excellent but some of the inside finish was adequate but not entirely smooth. The vents worked well. The clean up was complete.

Jeff quoted the job. He was very professional and informative. He didn't push, saying if not sure about any window just wait, the cost per window wouldn't change and I could do it later. He gave me the coupon discount even though I didn't have the coupon and took care of the permit. Scheduling a time was easy. The young man who did the work, Stan, arrived on time and again was very professional and courteous. The job took about 4 1/2 hours. Everything was cleaned up, dryer vent connected and there was no damage to anything. I love the windows. Just sorry I waited so long to do it.

They will work with you on a per window basis instead of the whole house. They are constant in their pricing. They are very responsible and understand that you can't replace all windows when you only need one or two replaced. The quality is wonderful and the room is much warmer.

Excellent, finished sooner than estimated and cleaned up completely when finished.

Overall the work was great, but instead of sending two people to perform the work the company sent one installer. He did show up on time (10 minutes early) but realized that he did not have enough supplies with him to complete the job. He had to go off to the hardware store (added another hour) to get supplies to complete job. Once he got the needed supplies he came back and finished the windows. We where told by the sales rep it would be a half day job (4 to 5 hours tops) instead worker was there for 10 hours. The finished product was good, but we feel that West Side Glass Block should have two man teams--one ripping out windows while the other is installing. Also the worker was on his cell phone at least 8 times.

I had similar price comparisons, but after the initial estimate they contacted me further, and gave me more information on their products. These extra touches are what made me decide to go with them. Once the workers came they were very courteous and got right to work. They estimated that it would take half of a day. The original salesman suggested taking out a couple of layers of brick to make the outside look more even. They did have a lot more trouble than expected doing this. However, they went ahead and completed this work and finished at about 4:00 in the afternoon. The windows look great, and they did a good job.

Perfect. They called back, came out when they said they would, provided a quote with suggested window, and came out when promised and replaced, even with snow on ground. The worker was courteous and cleaned up when done.
