Utterly professional! There is a reason there is such a long wait for the services. They were so easy to work with. They were honest, they were timely and they did a fabulous job resetting my sandstone sills, tuckpointing, and repairing the concrete on the edges of my patio. My estimate was what I paid. They are stand up business.

He did an excellent job! Even though it was an expensive project, I was pleased with the outcome. He rebuilt the front stairs and inspected and graded the stone. When he came out to do the estimate, he was honest about what he could and could not price immediately. I found him through word of mouth, and then realized he was on Angie's List. I have also recommended him to my neighbors, who have come to my house to see the work. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in my area who needs help with any masonry projects.

I talked with them in July of that year. They were really busy, as were all masons at that time. He came out promptly, gave me a quote and told me he would get in done in September. He was true to his word, did a great job, very pleased. I would highly recommend.

Very pleased, and will be having them do more later this year and next. Brian returned my initial calls promptly and did an estimate. They were able to keep the historically accurate look of the steps - very thorough. I trusted their workmanship.

All went very smoothly, no delays, no problems. They were willing to check out stones left at my daughter's house and evaluate them for me. We decided not to re-use those and were glad because the stones Vagner provided were so gorgeous (subtley marbled). They helped me decide how wide, where to put the steps, etc. They worked efficiently and the end result is perfect. Not the cheapest estimate but the quality was worth the price.

We hired Briane to make some very necessary repairs to the main chimney of our 1925 Colonial Revival home. Briane provided a free estimate in advance of any work, looking at both chimneys and identifying the priority work. Quote was very competitive and fair, especially given the nature of the work. Communication with Briane via phone and email was great, and he was upfront about realistic timelines. We planned the work for approximately one month out from when he performed the estimate. Work began as scheduled, and Briane and his team were punctual, friendly and happy to answer questions (I'm inquisitive). They worked in frigid temperatures and snow to rebuild top courses of the chimney and tuckpoint various areas, all while working atop scaffolding that rose more than 30 feet. One slight mishap happened when a rogue brick landed on our grill below, but Briane immediately called, apologized profusely and ordered a new grill hood to replace the damaged one. I was really impressed with not only that honesty, but also that very proactive approach to resolving something before I even knew about it! The repaired chimney looks wonderful, and Briane did an incredible job matching the new brick with the existing brick, and salvaging what brick he could. It looks as if it were always there - an that's an important consideration in a historic home. It's also great piece of mind to know the work was completed so professionally avoiding more substantial damage that would've come from deferred maintenance. After the work was done, Briane was kind enough to spend some time looking at a few other areas of masonry around the house that could use attention, and graciously provided feedback and input on each. That was a really nice gesture, and one that certainly did not go unappreciated. I will definitely look to Briane and Vagner Masonry for future masonry need.

The job went GREAT! The entire Vagner team are all hardworking and professional. They did return several times to complete a difficult repair on the handrails and John went above & beyond to complete the job to my satisfaction and his high standards and pride in his workmanship. A highly proficient crew of three setup, completed the masonry and cleanup in one day. They returned for a short time the following day to add a sealant for the flashing. I am very pleased.

The job was wonderful from start to finish. They came out and quoted in November. Their quote was detailed and told us what they were going to do and materials they were going to use. It gave us a price and a contingency price based on work we wouldn't know was needed until the steps were completely torn down. They had to tear-down and remove bricks, sand and stone that were damaged by an automobile accident. Once they got it cleared out they had to dig for a new footer. They poured concrete for the footer and then re-created the steps with brick and sandstone. I liked the fact that they were very professional, punctual, they did a detailed quote, they did a detailed contract and what they charged us for the job was what they quoted. I have nothing negative to say because there's nothing that didn't go right. They were something above an 'A' because they did really good work. I would use them again and refer them. In fact, we've had a steady stream of people who, while they were doing the work, came and asked for their card. The person who actually witnessed the accident saw them working on the steps and he came back and said he knew somebody was going to fix the steps so he was waiting for them to do it so he could see the work because he needed work done at his house. So he got their card along with at least five or six other people who stopped.

The company came out and examined my problem in a very prompt response. They seemed professional and knowledgeable. However, their estimate was for only a portion of my steps and was higher than other estimates I received for the whole porch and steps. The company indicated their estimate was higher due to the fact they were located on the other side of Cleveland. I understand that and have therefore decided to go with another masonry company located closer to my home.

Called Briane Vagner and requested an estimate. Briane came out promptly, examined my needs, and was very helpful in recommending a solution. The work was scheduled. Briane and Johnny arrived promptly. The work was excellent, all employees were professional, and cleanup was better than expected. I would not hesitate to call Briane for any future masonry projects.

Three words to describe Briane, owner of Vagner Masonry: expert, responsive, priced-right Tuckpointing and window cement-caulking done demonstrating an exceptional level of expertise. I contacted Briane via Craigslist and he responded promptly. He performed an estimate within a few days and explained where he could fit me into his schedule, given his current and near-future commitments. Because much of his work is weather-dependent, he was actually able to fit me in sooner than he originally thought. He maintained excellent communication over the phone throughout this time. He actually completed the work while I was out of town on business. He was neat and cleaned up so that I did not even know he was there, except my house no longer leaks ;-) My neighbor described him as efficient, friendly and noted that he paid attention to detail. When I returned and inspected the work, the mortar was matched perfectly. Briane even drove by on a rainy morning at the crack of dawn to examine his work and follow-up. I look forward to using Briane in the future and I can't say that about other contractors!

Left message that the foundation to the garage was to far gone, and he does not do that kind of work.

Vagner Masonry's price was fair. They did the work neatly and quickly. He's done work for us before and it's always been done professionally.

Smooth and professional; no cutting corners. Brian worled in concert with Dansk Waterproofing, and both parties were cooperative and VERY competent.

Vagner Masonry replaced the rear steps to our house, including five stone treads, one of which is a large landing that's about 5 x 4 Feet. The structure supporting the stone is masonry (brick), which was also replaced/repaired as needed. The structure goes down to the footing of the house. The work performed was flawless. The product looks as if a master home builder built the steps as part of a brand new house construction. This is the third job we've had Vagner Masonry do, the others being a Chimney cap replacement and tuckpointing. Briane and his employees are top notch. Also, Briane does a great job explaining the work that needs to be done.

The work was excellent. I had direct contact with Brian, the owner; and he was very courteous. I was also familiar with his work from another property owner that used him. He does first class masonry work and puts up a barrier to keep out traffic and cars. He said it would come down in five days and it came down in five days. The estimate that he gave me was very thorough and I could tell he looked at everything very carefully. His price was reasonable and I will use him again the in the future.
