He seemed to have trouble measuring and getting the cabinet to fit exactly into the space. Also, the job took several months to do.
Description of Work: He built an approx. 18 x 28 cabinet in the hole above our new refrigerator. It now matches the other cabinetry in our kitchen.

Excellent, Dennis came to my home measured the vanity had samples for a new top to choose from.......... In a timely fashion he crafted the new top and came to my home and installed it................. Dennis is a very fine craftsman, his work is top notch.
Description of Work: Custom made a new top for my bathroom vanity.

THE ORIGINAL ESTIMATE WAS FOR $600, SO FINAL COST WAS 50% HIGHER THAN PROMISED. CREATING THE INITIAL SPACE FOR OVENS WAS DONE WELL, THE INSTALLERS WERE IMPRESSED WITH THE PERFECT FIT. DENNIS DID A GOOD JOB ''VISUALIZING'' THE NEW DRAWERS AND CABINETS, BUT THE NEW CABINETS HAVE PROBLEMS. TWO TALL CABINET DOORS HAVE ALREADY WARPED SLIGHTLY (3 MONTHS), AND TWO OF THE NEW DEEP DRAWERS ARE SAGGING (HARDWARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH FOR THE LOAD). IT WAS DIFFICULT TO GET DENNIS TO FINISH THE WORK ON TIME; IT TOOK MORE THAN TWICE AS LONG AS EXPECTED. LESSON LEARNED - DON'T START A JOB WITHOUT GETTING A CONTRACT, EVEN FOR THE SMALL JOBS.
Description of Work: THE JOB WAS TO CREATE A SPACE FOR A NEW DOUBLE OVEN WHERE TWO SIDE-BY-SIDE OVENS HAD BEEN, REPLACING THE SPACE ON ONE SIDE WITH NEW CUSTOM-MADE CABINETS AND DRAWERS.
