Description of Work: Replaced garage floor, installed french drain around perimeter, installed gutters, replaced wood on front of garage, painted the whole garage. | |They did a great job in a short time. It looks like I have a new garage at half the price of a new one. |Their contracts are bare bones without much detail, but they did everything I asked.

He did mention that he was extremely busy, so I was not surprised when he did not get back to us quickly with an estimate. However, it has been a month now with no word from him at all. I assume he is just not interested in this job.
Description of Work: Mr. Tookey came to our house to discuss replacing the decking on our front and back porches and to take measurements.

I remember being extremely busy at this time, perhaps this is a sign of demand & popularity as against one that does not indeed care. I'm very sorry that my response was not what one had expected at the time. I try to respond as soon as possible but being a hands on contractor often takes up a lot of time & one cannot let down the current client you are working for. My apologies.

IAN WAS EXTREMELY POLITE AND VERY EASY TO WORK WITH. HE MADE TIME TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS WE HAD WITH THE PROJECT. HE WAS ON TOP OF EVERYTHING GOING ON AND WHEN SUBCONTRACTORS WERE OUT WORKING ON THE JOB HE WAS OFTEN PRESENT MAKING SURE THAT ALL WAS WELL. I WOULD HIRE TOOKEY CONSTRUCTION AGAIN FOR ANOTHER PROJECT IN A HEARTBEAT AND RECOMMEND HIM STRONGLY TO ANYONE NEEDING WORK DONE AROUND THE HOME.
Description of Work: WE ASKED IAN TOOKEY OF TOOKEY CONSTRUCTION TO GIVE US A BID ON A TEARDOWN AND COMPLETE REBUILD OF A TWO CAR GARAGE. THIS INCLUDED A NEW CONCRETE PAD, A NEW DRAINAGE SYSTEM PER CITY CODE, TRENCHED IN ELECTRICAL LINES AND AN ENTRANCE DOOR ON THE SIDE. HE TOOK HIS TIME GETTING THE QUOTE TOGETHER AND GAVE US AN EXTREMELY DETAILED BREAKDOWN OF ALL THE COSTS FOR THE PROJECT. ONCE HE WAS GIVEN THE GO-AHEAD TO BEGIN HE WAS DILIGENT AND ON THE BALL. HE KEPT US ABREAST OF THE PROJECT, NOTIFIED US WHEN THERE WAS A SUPPLIER DELAY AND WAS JUST ABSOLUTELY SUPERB. THE PROJECT WAS FINISHED JUST BEHIND SCHEDULE DUE MOSTLY TO POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS AND ON BUDGET.

IAN IS A MASTER TILER. HE DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB WORKING ON OUR BATHROOM. HE ALSO DID THE FINISHED CARPENTRY AND WOODWORKING. WE ARE VERY DETAILED ORIENTED AND ARE VERY PLEASED WITH THE RESULT.
