Description of Work: Our front porch needed to be redone. Cement between the brick semicircle step deteriorated,and the platform was badly pitted. Jim Thomas replaced the step. It is satisfactory. However the sealer he spread on the platform was not even and resulted in water puddling in the middle. We called for him to come back, by leaving several messages on his voice mail. There is no way to talk to him directly. After 6 messages, he finally comes, spreads a 2nd layer, and tell us that it needs 24 hours to cure for the next layer. That was July 23rd, and 5 phone calls later, still no answer. Every time it rains, there is a huge puddle, right where people walk. Friends have asked why it is like that! I am very concerned that when the temperature drops, any standing water will freeze, and we have a very hazardous condition. Jim's work is very sloppy, he washed his equipment on our lawn, killing the grass. I had to chisel the dried cement out of the lawn. He did that 2 times, despite my request not to do that. The worse part is that he is not returning phone calls, and we have an unfinished project! We would never recommend him.

+ -1 moreI CALLED TO GET A QUOTE. HE RETURNED MY PHONE CALL ONCE AND SAID TO JUST LEAVE MY ADDRESS ON HIS VOICEMAIL, SO HE COULD DRIVE BY AND LEAVE AN ESTIMATE. HE NEVER CALLED BACK AND I STILL HAVEN'T HAD AN ESTIMATE LEFT AT THE HOUSE.

+ -1 moreTHEY COMPLETED THE JOB AS PROMISED. THE STEPS TURNED OUT OKAY, AND THEY FILLED IN ADDITIONAL LITTLE HOLES THAT I SPOTTED AROUND THE RETAINING WALL.
Description of Work: RESURFACED 6 STEPS ALONG SIDE OF HOUSE. FORMED AND POURED TOP STEP. FILLED VOIDS BETWEEN CHIMNEY AND SIDEWALK. SEALED CRACKS ON RETAINING WALL.
