The Plumbing Source

My overall experience was very good. On both occasions, they arrived promptly. On the first occasion, they were unable to find the clean port in the front yard. They were clear and up front about having to resort to cleaning out the main through the toilet. I accepted the risks. Unfortunately, the work was not successful. Nonetheless, it was still worth the cost. The second visit was to attempt the same work again. This time they found the clean out port in the front yard. They were able to clean out the sewer main perfectly and promptly. The cost was slightly high, but still worth it considering the prompt service, great communication, and clear information about the procedures.

Dennis and Vince were right on time for my scheduled appointment. I was given an up-front price before work was started for everything I had done. Both men were professional and answered any questions I had concerning the job. The work was done in a timely fashion. Considering my old tank could not be drained like normal with a hose (there was no hose attachment on the old tank) ,both men took great care in moving the tank to a different room in the basement where the utility tub and drain were without causing a huge mess. They did a good job of cleaning up after themselves when the work was completed.

They came out and gave us an estimate and replaced it right then. Good service all around. They gave us some extras that did not charge us for.

Job 1: I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE PLUMBING SOURCE. I HAVE AN OLDER HOME, AND IT IS HELPFUL TO WORK WITH AN EXPERIENCED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE TEAM. Job 2: Guys arrived promptly and asked minute questions to understand when the leak occurred and what area of the ceiling had been affected. They also explained what procedures were recommended and why, and the warranty for the services (after the work was completed).

I expected them to come the day we scheduled the service, but they had their records incorrect and didn't come that day. When they did show up after rescheduling, they were 1/2 hr late. They provided decent service.

We woke up Monday morning to lukewarm water. We had enough to shower and get ready for work. I called the plumbing source first thing when I got to work. They were actually able to send someone out before I was able to meet them. We ended up setting up a time for that afternoon. They were waiting in my driveway when I got home. They were able to replace the hot water heater and I was still able to make a doctor's appt. I had that afternoon. Very prompt and we are very pleased with the service and the price. We didn't even have to go 1 day without hot water!

They did an excellent job. They were on time, and they were very courteous. The servicemen even left their names on the water heater and said to ask for them if I ever had any problems.

They arrived on time & gave a estimate of the cost of the job. The final cost was exactly the same as their estimate even though they replaced a piece of drain tile that was not in the original estimate. I was very pleased with the service. The 2 workers were friendly & efficient.

I called at about 8:05 AM and a plumber was at my house by about 10:15 AM. He was polite and did excellent work. I really appreciated the speedy job. I had out-of-state company coming to visit that same day and had a LOT for water damage to try to deal with. My only complaint is that the price seemed kind of steep for the 1-2 hrs of work done.

Arrived on time. Provided estimate for services & reviewed each service with me so I would understand what was & was not included. Performed work immediately. Very productive crew. Pleasant & professional demeanor when I would check on how they were doing. Cleaned up work-site. Polite when requesting payment for services.

They were very prompt, courteous, and clean. Their initial estimate to do the job seemed outrageous, however I was able to provide some of the items they needed and it brought my cost down over $100. Still... they were at my house less than 2 hrs so it seemed that their hourly rate was awful steep. Definitely not cheap, but they seemed to have done a good job.

It went well. They are very professional. They knew exactly what they were doing. The drain worked fine after being clogged up for months. I can use my sink again.

This was my first experience with The Plumbing Source and was based solely on the large number of positive reports here on the list. I'm adding another one! I called at 9 am, and they promised someone would be out between 1 and 3 pm that day. They were in my driveway when I got home from work at 1. I can't say enough about Al and Jeff. They were thoroughly professional and courteous, and they wasted no time finding and fixing the problem. They also cleaned up every bit of the mess that comes from tearing out a section of soggy drywall, and they gave me the name and number of a company that they recommend for drywall repair. (A company that also has great reports here on the list.) I will definitely call this company for any future plumbing jobs and would recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

They wanted to do another job for $250.00 which was to put the cut off valve in the basement outside, but I was told by others to leave it inside. After paying the $250.00, it is still leaking in the basement. It was because he spent more time snaking where I didn't have a problem instead of trying to open the drain that I had a problem with. They were suppose to call me and they haven't gotten back with me yet.

They were professional. Did a great job. They weren't the cheapest but, I felt the quality of their work merited the cost. They were very good at explaining their cost. Mario was excellent.

I called back last Monday, and was told they would get right back to us. The initial appt was made and they came out promptly, but still no phone call.

They are very friendly and polite. They do a very good job, and it seems that their prices are reasonable. They put on their little booties when they come in the door, which I appreciate.

I would recommend them to any of our friends, and they will be our plumber from now on.

I found water in my basement and phoned the company at 7:27 AM. By 8:15, a crew of two was at the house. Michael and Patrick listened as I described what had worked in the past as far as cleaning out the drain in my basement, since I have no clean-out. They not only finished their work, but made arrangements for an annual clean-out per my request. They answered all my questions and were professional at all times.

Spoke with Linda on the phone and she was able to have Al and Adam visit me on the same day. Al and Adam worked well as a team to verify where the leak was and how best to fix it. This was a very good experience. I would be happy to call The Plumbing Source again in the future if needed.

They were clean, neat and prompt. A pleasure to have in the house.

We got this companys name from Angies List originally when remodeling a bathroom and used them again when both toilets went AWOL two days before a party, and again when a rusty toilet drain pipe burst in a wall! These plumbers are great guys. Angies provides a service long desired by consumers and does it well.
