The Plumbing Source

The customer service was great. I think it only took a few hours to fix the problem. They completed the job the same day. They were pretty responsive. We called them with a problem and they were able to come the same week, which was good. We did not have to wait for a longer time.

They did a great job, and they were very quick. They were fairly expensive, but you get good work. The guy was very nice, and I was very happy with them.

It was great. He was very nice and professional. So happy to seeing him come back the next time.

Called on Friday morning about a sink disposer and they were out that afternoon. In addition to the 2 hour window given by most companies they agreed to call approximately 30 minutes before their arrival so I could arrange to be there. They called and actually beat me to the house. Came in, diagnosed the problem and had all the parts on the truck to get a new disposer installed that day. Thrilled to find out they carried Waste King which consumers can't buy other than the internet. They completed the job quickly and cleaned up after themselves. This is the second time I've used Plumbing Source and cannot imagine using anyone else in the future.

Thought they did a professional job. I have used them several times before. They came, they fixed, they left-my favorite thing. I am always sticker shocked by what plumbers charge!

They are a good company. They are not the least expensive company around. They come when they say they are going to. They are knowledgeable in their field.

They are real professional. They did really good. They get top service rewards. They were very polite and honest.

They came when they said they would. This company isn't my normal plumbing company but he wasn't able to come. I was pleased with The Plumbing Sources work and would use them if my normal guy was unavailable.

Estimates expensive!! Incapable of fixing a leaky kitchen faucet. Estimate to replace a toilet tank fill valve $80!!

The plumber was out within 4 hours of calling the company. He was very professional and took the time to diagnose the problem. He also took a look at our disposal which was giving us problems and went so far as to call the manufacturer to see if it was still under warranty.

The service was schedule between 3 to 5 pm. After 5 pm I had to call the office and they said that the plumbers were late. Five minutes later, the office called me back saying that they would be at my house in 10 minutes. Ten minutes later they arrived. They put disposable socks on their shoes to prevent dirt from getting on our floor. The service was very well done and fast. They cleaned everything after the service was done.

They were prompt and they completed the job in a timely fashion. They also cleaned up after themselves. Overall, it was a very positive experience. We were comfortable with him in our home. He was very knowledgeable.

They were punctual. I did not have to move a thing. They were tidy and their service was wonderful. I would use them again. I felt that their prices were reasonable and I would definitely recommend them to others.

Called company to replace garbage disposal because it had not worked for almost 6 months. I was given a quote of approximately $350 to replace disposal. I agreed to pay for new disposal. After worker arrived and inspected disposal, he found that a "penny" was inside which caused motor to stop working. After penny was removed, my disposal began working again. He told me I did not need a new one unless I wanted one. I appreciated his honesty in not trying to get me to purchase a new one if not needed.

They were prompt, knowledgeable and professional. They were quick to respond to our phone call. They were neat and cleaned up after themselves. We were pleased.

It went well. We have used the Plumbing Source for nearly 10 years for a variety of plumbing jobs. During the work and at the point of checking the operation of the tank, we learned that our house's ventilation, driven by an attic fan, was in need of change(that's a whole new story)based upon the plumber's observations at the tank top. It seems that the exhaust of the tank was being disturbed by the attic fan. So the Plumbing Source implemented a solution. I further changed the house's ventilation, and now have the Plumbing Source's solution as a backup.

They were fair to good. They were supposed to come at 1:00 and they came at 2:00 and said that this was the time I had arranged. There was some confusion as to when they anticipated being there. They left some debris on the basement floor. There was a helper with the main plumber that I had a negative feeling about. I thought they were overpriced. I know they are ranked high and I was somewhat indifferent to them. The plumber himself seemed to do an adequate job. It took them a long time to write up the bill while they were in the van and on the cell phone. They also forgot to turn the hot water back on under the sink and I had to remind them. There was a number of small things that I was disgruntled about.

The sewer backed up twice. The second time there was no charge even though it wasn't there fault that it happened again. I had them video the sewer line and found it was crushed. They were quick to respond. The price was a little higher than average, but offset by service, in my experience. I made a deal with my landscaper to fix the line since it was probably there previous work that broke the line.

Some replacement plumbing had been done in the past and needed to be moved for a future renovation. Eric came to estimate the job and I was immediately impressed with his understanding that I am trying to restore a historic home. The largest part of the job, replacing some plumbing in a dining room, was done efficiently and done well. Eric and his partner put up plastic to keep dirt from moving out of the work area. I was very impressed with the job that was done. Eric also worked on several old faucets. These faucets have been serviced in the past. This is the first time they've been repaired and are now operating correctly. December, 2012 update In 2009, The Plumbing Source re-ran water, gas and sewer lines from the house to the garage as part of a driveway replacement project. I didn't catch this detail in time, but, the gas line going into the garage comes above ground in front of the garage in a spot where it could be easily damaged by a car. In 2010, sewer work was done in the basement. A basement toilet needed to be pulled up, sewer lines replaced and toilet reconnected. I didn't notice this for a few months, but, when the toilet was reseated, it was too close to a wall and the tank cover cannot sit on the toilet water tank. Due to a number of frustrations, I called the company to discuss these issues. It took several return calls before I was able to reach someone. I was promised a call back with proposed solutions. These calls occurred in July, 2011. I have not heard back from the company. For this reason I am no longer using The Plumbing Source.

Mike was very professional and helpful. He answered many of my questions during the estimate that were unrelated to the work. The job was well done, in a timely manner.

Called the company mid-morning and left my name/number. My call was returned promptly. A rough estimate was given over the phone for the service, including how much it would cost if the work went over the usual 1 1/2 hour work time. Was told that the service could be performed later the same day. Though I was happy with their excellent response time, I went with another company that I had worked with previously and that would do the job for less.

I had an experienced person come into the house with a trainee and he watched the trainee and they fixed the problem and all is well. I like the idea that they have an experienced person coming along with the person that they are training. That did give me more confidence since they were doing on the job training and not just sending out someone blindly.

I am very happy with this provider.

We ran into a lot of problems and they were so patient. They went above and beyond. They are the only plumbing company that I will ever use. They have done several things for me.

I think it went well overall. Our garbage disposal became stuck and was also underpowered. We decided to get it replaced. The only problem I had was that they were very dirty from previous jobs. They were very polite and professional, though, and they got the job done well. No matter who gets sent over to your house they're always polite and very people-oriented.
