It was a big job. It took them two full days. They were on the ball and they plugged up spots that I didn't even see. They put a screen around our chimney as well which has been helpful. They have done a great job.

The work was so bad, I just wanted to get it over and done with. The company took forever to get back to me and set up an appointment. In the end, they must have sent the least experienced employee to do the work. He was obviously a novice, as the first time he showed up, he forgot his circular saw. Not a good sign. He was nice enough, but in over his head on a simple project. I ended up re-doing all his work myself. I was not happy with how this whole transaction unfolded and was relieved that I was able to cancel and refund another Big Deal with this vendor [general carpentry, an overhang where I keep my firewood]. Such a bad experience, from start to finish, that it has taken me almost a year to write this review. Stay away from this company

I needed fencing in my backyard. It had to match the rest of the fencing that was in my yard before we moved in 14 years ago. Bob gave me an estimate and called me back immediately to let me know that he had to increase it because of the type of fencing we needed. They were very good when doing the work - grading the area and putting rocks around the edges so my dogs wouldn't be tempted to dig underneath it. I called House Doctors at 5:00 PM when I saw the problem , and the work was done the next day at 10:00 AM. The worker was polite, and very efficient. The end result was very good.

From our first experience with the owner, to the timely and professional experience with the guys that worked morning, noon and night to get the job done, we are extremely pleased with their diligent, clean, and prompt work!

As always, it went very well. The House Doctors came as promised and we are very satisfied with the work performed.

He reported to have fixed the leak that was dripping on our floor. There is no longer the leak that is visible. However, the source of the leak is still there. We can take showers without leaking, but cannot take baths without leaking. So, the leak has to be in the overflow of the tub. If there?s any overflow of the water, it comes out dripping near the light fixture. It has cost us several thousands of dollars now to fix this leak, but we have given up. Other plumbers have looked for the source, and were unsuccessful. House Doctors meant well, but didn?t succeed completely. Overall, they did a good job, with their repairs.

We use them regularly. They are very good. They are very pleasant and punctual. They clean my house well.

No job is too big or too small. All the guys are very nice, even when I change my mind about the details of a job. I appreciate your friendliness and their competence. The work is excellent; they are punctual, do exactly what I want, and work with me to get the job done. It was an excellent experience.

House Doctors gave me a timely estimate, and booked a day a month off to provide service. When the team came, they were extremely professional and friendly, and discussed all the possibilities of how to do the work I needed. They got it all done in a day, did the work great and then cleaned up after themselves. I would and will work with them anytime, and felt I got a great value for the service.

I simply called them and told them the problem. They came a few days later and it was done. I did not have to take time off from work to be home. They are always polite and professional.

Evidently, I'm not the only Angies List member to have problems getting a quote from Bob and the House Doctors. Bob; at some point, you need to quite making excuses, fix YOUR company problems (own them) and finally....just take responsibility for the mistakes you're making. Excuses are exactly that, excuses!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I first called Mike, he was in the middle of another project. When I told him we needed to list the property for sale, he accommodated our schedule. The work crews finished in a timely fashion, working around a few days I couldn't be home to open the house.They even came back for a minor follow-up request. What more can you ask?

They were prompt, polite, and my tenants were happy with their service. Their charges were fair, were exactly what I was expecting, and were quite a bit less than what a plumber had quoted me. Mostly, this is the second time I have used them and I appreciate the fact that they show up on time and do what they promised.

People are nice in the first contact but they were not organized to do a simple job.

It was a lot of work. The workman came when scheduled. No problems. They made any adjustments that I asked for, and were polite and nice to work with. I have worked with this company before and this was one of the big projects and they did a great job. The cost for the amount of work was very reasonable. I love how the basement look. It is like having a separate apartment. I love the laundry area they created. I can still get my cars in the garage.

The young man who did the work was very pleasant. He did the minor plumbing work just fine. Unclogged the drain for both the sink and the tub without problem. Haven't had problems since. The replacing of tiles and the regrouting of the tiles around the tub - well - suffice it to say - I wouldn't use the company for anything else - as a result of this poor job. I also would not recommend the company to any of my friends and family. First - I was under the impression that for the price (i don't remember what it was- perhaps @ $600) the tile would all be regrouted. Well it wasn't all - and - it looked like he just grouted right over the old stuff in some places. he replaced some tiles that he said were broken (when he removed them to fix the placement). He came back with tile that totally didn't match my tile - so now I have several pieces with an odd color. I have old aqua color tiles. The new tile pieces were more like a periwinkle blue (just 3 tiles). Mismatched - looks horrible. The grout started coming out soon after I started using the shower. It didn't hold. I had them come out and fix once. The grout started coming out again after that - again - it looked like he regrouted right over the old - I would have thought he would remove the old before regrouting. Also - there is still a film over the tiles that I can't remove (neither could the girls that came in to clean). Not sure what he used. I did not have them come out again. I did not want them touching anything more. I also don't have the time to keep getting it fixed. My expectation when I hire someone is that it is done correctly the first time. I spent alot of money for poor workmanship. Had the job been done correctly - I would not have minded spending the money.

I called this cleaning company twice for an estimate, after reading the reviews on Angie's List, for bi-weekly cleaning. They never called back to set up an appointent for an estimate. I was very disappointed by ther customer service/responsiveness. The other service, also found on Angie's List, I called responded later that day. They will be coming out to give me an estimate.
