Description of Work: I have called these guys over a dozen times in the last few years. They are always trustworthy. I have nothing but respect for this contractor. They are able to do nearly anything you need. The last time I had them remove and organize usable and non-usable debris from our house; they replaced a diverted in a tub/shower; and fixed those difficult knobs on the water radiators. You will not go wrong calling these guys for all maintenance and repairs around your house, including gutters, roof, etc

Description of Work: I made an appointment and flew to cleveland. The service called with car trouble so I waited for a call to reschedule later in the afternoon. Never received a call back.

Description of Work: Purchased a deal for drywall & plaster repair. But after months this contractor never committed to a date or ever did the work. So I finally requested a refund since he did not seem interested in the work.

Description of Work: Nothing. I was promised a call by that Friday. No call for two weeks so I called them. They called me back once, and did not leave a message. I waited another week or so and called them again. Still no call back. I pre-paid on pay pay. How do I get my money back.

Description of Work: Although I received no response from the House Doctor, I understand that being busy happens. They have an excellent reputation, and I don't want to hinder their rating. I would suggest deals should not be offered if staffing does not permit the work to take place.

Description of Work: This was one of Angie's List Big Deals for the House Doctors to pressure wash our concrete driveway. They kept changing the time that they were to be here, but they did show up. The driveway was pretty stained and they could only remove some of the stains. We had requested that they come out and seal the driveway. We had a ball park figure which was okay. They said they were waiting for dry weather and we never heard from them.

Description of Work: I actually tried one very highly recommended Handyman Service from Angie's List and couldn't get THEM to call me back. So I went looking for another and found this deal. I called them at 6/18/13 at 8:40 am, right after buying the deal and at 6/19/13 at 12:15 pm, leaving messages both times. I then switched to email, emailing 6/20/13 at 1:30 pm and 6/24/13 at 8:15 am. I called Angie's list this morning and they asked to intervene -- I said OK but then called back after I changed my mind. I figured they won't want to help me after being strongarmed into it. So...requested a refund instead.

Description of Work: An appointment was scheduled to come to my home. I was called into work on the day of appointment so I called to ask if they could come one hour later. They could not.. I then called 3 additional times to reschedule over a course of three weeks and never got a call returned. So I hired a different contractor to do the work.

Description of Work: The House Doctors did not come when scheduled and did not call. After I made 3 attempts to call, they returned a phone call and rescheduled - promising to come. They did not come when rescheduled and again did not call. They did show up approximately 2 1/2 hours late after I had given up and left to run errands. When I returned they were in process. I spoke to one person who did not seem at all phased that they had not come or called when scheduled. I told him that he should not perform work at someone's home when they were not there. This bothered me a great deal. A member of their staff had promised to be there on time and to personally supervise to ensure that I received good service. They wasted at least 5 hours of my time waiting and their attitude indicated that they thought this was normal.
