Description of Work: Repaired the ceiling in our living room that suffered water damage from the upstairs bathroom. They did a great job.

Description of Work: I bought a deal for 3 hours of service and paid for an extra hour. Our basement had flooded and 2 feet had been removed from the bottoms of the walls. They were very precise and it was easy for me to mud and tape it.

Description of Work: I had paid for three hours of work. i had 3 whole in the wall i needed repaired only two got done. if feel more work could have been performed in that three hours. i didn't find the worker to be very friendly...

Description of Work: They removed a very long living room window ledge and framing that had been damaged by rot, and replaced everything in an admirable fashion. I had spoken with many other contractors before them about doing this project, but everyone was scared to tackle it because they feared damaging the very expensive (custom made) window glass. James made it look easy as pie, and even did some window sealing that was not part of the original project.

Description of Work: The service person was Mark. He repaired/replaced the ceiling in a bathroom closet which had water damage from an upstairs leak. Mark was prompt, helpful, did an excellent job and cleaned the area up afterwards very well. I have used House Doctors before and will do so again. I was using an Angie's Big Deal.

Description of Work: 2 men came to work on finishing the drywall that was put up by someone else. They stippled the ceiling in our garage and living room and taped a wall panel that was installed. The job took longer than the 3 man-hours, so we paid the extra to have the job finished. There was a delay in finishing the work and we had to contact them again to reschedule them to come out to sand down the wall and finish the ceiling.

Description of Work: It was wonderful. I have a deck that was quite dirty. When it was completed it was as if I had a new deck.

Description of Work: I had removed some wallpaper and needed a drywaller to finish the job. Mark was very responsive to the need. Overall it was a good experience, however some of finishing work was a little below par.

Description of Work: I had to wait over two weeks for my appointment. The workman was fine but I thought I had purchased for four hours of work, carpentry to replace or repair rotted wood. The foreman stated that repair of railing and picket fencing was more than basic carpeting. He was also going to follow up with a quote for painting touchup, which I have not seen.

Description of Work: Provided was 3 hours of carpentry work for $99. - a special deal. Jim completed 2 of 3 tasks impressively. The third not so much...possibly running out of time. I called the owner(?) several times speaking only to his receptionist or leaving a voice mail. The owner never returned my calls. And what I wanted was the cost of approx. 3 more hours to finish up and caulk all windows. His loss.

Description of Work: They came out, viewed the job, promised a bid, then vanished. Neither Angie's List employees or myself could get them to return numerous phone calls. THE WORST!!!!

Description of Work: The House Doctors repaired 2 areas of drywall that needed to be treated with drywall compound to smooth surfaces on walls and ceiling. These areas were in two different rooms. On the advice of the House Doctors receptionist I purchased 20 minute set joint compound to save time. |The work completed was fine. If I had to do this again I would insist on one worker for the contracted 3 hours and not 2 workers for 1.5 hours. The worker number was the choice of the House Doctors. In 1.5 hours the joint compound was not dry enough to complete the job and additional time was purchased.
