Description of Work: Showed up at 10, on time. Was supposed to be 4 hours and that meant he should be done by 2. He was done around 6 o'clock. He ended up replacing the whole door instead of the trim and the frame. I asked if he had the measurements right, he said yes. Then we got back and it was 2 inches too long. He managed to get it all fixed but it took longer and the measurements were wrong and he charged me extra.

Description of Work: Mark from the House Doctor was very professional. He called me and let me know when he will arrive. He installed a new slider for my kitchen cabinet drawer patiently as it was in the hard to reach area. He also installed three window well covers for me. He did excellent job and I am very satisfied. Thank you, Mark.

Description of Work: Handyman contacted me when promised and confirmed arrival time. He was friendly and appeared knowledgeable about requested services as we reviewed list of desired work. Handyman commented about what jobs could/could not be completed that day based on materials needed/scope of project. Larger jobs would require a separate inspection be scheduled. Although the work that was completed was adequate, overall, I was disappointed about the amount of work that was completed in 4 hours (2 closet doors were hung-hardware had to be switched to the opposite side of the doors and adjustments made). It may be helpful to other customers if the handyman could provide an estimated time needed to complete each requested task when reviewing list of work to be completed.

Description of Work: Repaired some wood rot on front porch and recaulked separated frame pieces.

Description of Work: The request was made for the $99.00 for three hours of work. I called the carpenter and she was extremely busy and said she would call me that evening. No return call. I called and left several messages on days that followed but no response.

Description of Work: I had some extra work done and the price was reasonable and done well. Jim left the work area in pristine condition. I am very picky and I highly recommend The House Doctors.

Description of Work: I paid for 2 hours of work on a Big Deal offer. I needed remedial wood work and molding replacement on a garage door behind our house that was for sale. At the suggestion of the receptionist, I had purchased materials in advance, explaining to the clerk at Home Depot what I needed. Mark was our service man for the job. He told me that the clerk had sold me the wrong materials, so he went back and purchased the right ones. The job took longer than we thought, so I paid him hourly for the rest of the work. The Point of Sale Inspector came while he was there,and Mark helped fix 2 of the violations for which we were cited. He did neat work on all the jobs and cleaned up afterward. I did not mind paying the company's regular hourly rate for the extra work, as all the jobs I needed were finished.

Description of Work: Fixed cracked plaster and did mudding on bad drywall. The job was well done. One problem with bubbling arose in one area and they came back promptly and redid the area. Definitely satisfied with the work.
