 + 0 moreOverall they were very responsive and called back first before the other companies, even on a holiday. They came when they said they would. They were great as far as cleanup afterwards, they covered everything in the kitchen. He washed and mopped everything in my kitchen as well. Also very honest in their assessment. Their pricing was a little higher than I would've liked, but overall it was a great experience.
Description of Work: They did some plumbing work for me in the bathroom and patched the ceiling which was damaged by the plumbing.

Bob returned my initial call within 8 hours, and his team was tackling projects within a day. Among the many projects, they removed wallpaper from two bathrooms, did some patch-up work and painted both areas. Everyone involved in the projects were kind, professional and really seemed to care about their work. I will be using them again. It's difficult to note a price for the painting as so many other projects were included in their overall invoice.

They called within a week with a verbal quote and mailed me the quote a day or two later. They then followed up with a call a week later. I would have used this company if I were to paint but have decided to go with vinyl siding instead.

 + -1 moreI am very pleased with the house doctors. They are nice to work with. They did a good job. We did have problems with our toilet after the remodel, and they were very quick to respond and troubleshoot the problem until it was fixed at no extra charge. We plan to use them in the future.
Description of Work: They did a bathroom remodel, including removing old tile, replacing wall as needed, tiling floor and tub surroundings. He also installed wainscoting and a ventilation fan, and he painted walls, ceiling and trim. New faucets and towel bars were installed as well.

They left the bill in my mailbox, and Bob called the night they came out to make sure I received the bill and to make sure everything went ok. I was very happy with their work. It did take them a week or so to get to my house, but I think they had many gutter cleaning requests (this was in the middle of the January though).

 + -1 moreWhen I called The House Doctors, Mr. Vecchio returned my call the same day. He then called back when the weather warmed up and the ice had melted enough to do the necessary gutter repairs. His son, Mr. Mike Vichy, was very polite and knowledgeable and didn't mind that I asked if he could do a few other jobs while he and the crew were at my home. He was able to complete the scheduled work and the extra requests the same day and at a reasonable price. Also, I really appreciated the follow-up call that evening from Mr. Bob Vecchio.
Description of Work: Called The House Doctors to have gutters repaired and cleaned. Mr. Bob Vecchio returned my call the same day and made plans to repair/clean gutters as soon as the ice melted. His son, Mr. Mike Vecchio and a two-man crew came out to do the job. While on-site, I asked them to remove some original wood shutters that were attached to the house with painted-over hinges and to pry open the more than ten windows that had been painted shut by another company last summer. They easily completed the planned job as well as the additional jobs I had asked for and the price was fair. Mr. Bob Vecchio made a follow-up call to me later that evening to make sure I was pleased with the work.

 + -1 moreThis service was extremely responsive. After I spoke with the owner of the company and established my needs, he identified two separate employees who would each perform part of the work. Within a few hours, both of the employees contacted me to set up appointments. They were both very polite and easy to work with.
Description of Work: Two toilets needed to be fixed - one just needed a quick adjustment, while the other needed to have its internal mechanism totally replaced. The House Doctors employee came to the house within a day after I contacted them. He made the first adjustment and determined what parts he needed for the more involved project. A couple of days later, he was back at the house and completed the project.
