They did an excellent job, cleaned everything up. We were VERY happy with the job they did.

Although we got off to a rocky start because of a miscommunication (I thought the handyman was coming back on the same day he came to assess the job, he thought I knew he'd be coming back on a different day), the work was completed in a timely manner overall and all the locks now work. I was especially pleased that our handyman, Robert, tried to find a better replacement for the French door lock, before we had to settle for a less attractive unit.

I had to call them back for them to re-patch an area. They were timely and had no problem fixing it.

I never got a quote, nobody ever came out. I decided to go with another company.

The owner of The House Doctors, Bob Vecchio, returned my call promptly and came over the next day to give me an estimate. One of my gutters was hanging loose and they reattached the underlaying wood and screwed the gutter in place. All of the gutters and downspouts were cleaned and two of the thresholds were removed & replaced. I would definitely call them again.

I received a call back from the company and gave them my address and explained the nature of the work and was promised I would receive an estimate. I never received the estimate.

Every time there was lots of rain the gutter gushed water and went through the bricks into basement. I called Bob and told him my problem and I thought they could just glue it together and he said he didn't think so because it wouldn't hold. I went and ran an errand and came home and the job was complete. Yahoo! You couldn't get better service than The House Doctors

When I first contacted Bob over the phone, he got back to me within an hour and came out the following day to give an estimate. The work was then scheduled and completed on schedule in a very professional and timely manner. Beyond the quality, timeliness and reasonable price, Bob was a pleasure to work with on a personal level. It was very clear to me that he values a positive relationship with his clients, something that is more and more rare in this day and age. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I called Bob Vecchio to come out and look at this job, knowing his crew would do a great job, as I had used them the year before for some painting that needed to be done. He and his son came out and gave me an estimate and told me they would be out in a few weeks. I was really excited because I had a really hard time finding someone who wanted to do this type of work. They arrived to work on the house when the said they would, and worked all day until about 6:00 that night. The returned the next day and painted all the work to match the exterior of the house. They were very thorough, and repaired many places that I had not originally seen. They were very neat and cleaned up everything before they left. Mike took me around to show me the finished product, and I could tell that HE was really proud of the work as well! I really enjoyed working with this company. They are a great bunch of folks, very personable and friendly. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

They have set prices for this job. I spent the whole day helping them do their job. They take less time and are less expensive than their competitors. They are willing to work with you a bit more than other companies I've used in the past.

The experience was completely painless. Bob returned my call the same day and arranged for Rod to call me to arrange a day to come out to the house. Rod came out exactly on time and finished his work neatly and efficiently.

They always do the small odd jobs. Very professional and they do a nice job. I will use them again.

We went into this job with a very specific plan (on paper). Our contractors, Dan and Anthony, worked with us to give us exactly what we wanted, making gentle suggestions that drastically improved the finished product. They suggested a different cabinet supplier, resulting in much nicer cabinets for the same price, plus suggested changes to the countertop, trim, and other finishing details that made all the difference. They took our deadlines seriously and worked with us to fix any and all problems that cropped up during the job. We have an old house with very uneven plaster walls, but they were able to set each cabinet in place perfectly, even carving out places in the walls to ensure the cabinets were set straight and even. Overall, they gave us beautiful results in spite of the complications of our old house, they were a pleasure to work with, and their attention to detail was incredible. Work was done just slightly over budget and schedule! We're very happy!

They were punctual, courteous, and neat. They did expert work and I highly recommend them. I will use them again.

I called Bob Vecchio of the House Doctors and explained my problems to him. Because the water problem was serious, he sent out his electrician, Rod, to do the work described above. Bob is always quick to respond, and Rod (who has been here before) is friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable. He's never failed to diagnose and fix my electrical problems. This time was no exception.

Did not select contractor, too expensive.

I thought his prices were too high for what he did. He unrolled the blinds and just hooked them on a nail. Other than price, he was alright!

Excellent. I used them for house painting, but will use them for other services, too.

I would give them an A++ if I could. They were timely and did not require a contract. I can't stop saying good things about the service.

I called Bob in a panic on a weekend morning--our pull-out kitchen faucet head had loosened from the hose and when my husband went to use it, the faucet head separated completely and the hose fell back inside the body of the faucet. There I was with a sink full of dirty dishes and no water in my kitchen! Thankfully I remembered that Bob's guys do plumbing work in addition to all their other skills (we've used them in the past for lots of work around the house--painting, carpentry, replacing light fixtures, etc, etc). I called Bob, explained the problem, and said I needed someone ASAP. He said he'd call his sub and call me back. Before he even called me back my doorbell rang (less than 45min after my initial call). I didn't get the gentleman's name, but he came in, assessed the situation, and within 10 minutes had it fixed! I can guarantee that if I had called a regular plumber, it would have been twice the price and I doubt that I'd have gotten someone out that weekend.

I called Mr. Vechio and left a voice mail message, explaining what was needed. After, not hearing from him. I called the next day. At this time he promised, that he would have one of his men get back to me to let me know, when they could come out. I have yet to hear back from anyone and it is now a week, later.

We heard of the House Doctors from the list. Mike promptly called us back and came within a few days to look at the job and give us an estimate. Within one week of the estimate, a worker was on the job. The work encompassed siding repairs, and exterior painting. After the first day of work, I had concerns about the job, and how things were looking. Mike quickly called back, and explained the rationale behind how the work was being done. He came to inspect the job the next day to be sure it was being done correctly. The final product looked great, and we are very satisfied.

HE TOLD ME UPFRONT HE DID NOT HAVE TIME TO DO THE WORK. I LIKE THAT.
