Job 1: Nice men, communicated very well as the scope of the project changed, cleaned up debris and was a pleasure to work with. Job 2: For a cooler, winter day, the workman is excellent. He was thorough but quick and did an excellent job.

They are very trustworthy and reliable. Always very nice to work with, they always take care of work that needs to be addressed right away and promptly return to finish up on the smaller things. Bob Vecchio answered the phone he told us he would have the electrician contact us which Rob did promptly. Rob arrived when he promised, worked quickly, cleaned up nicely and everything worked when he finished. Bob was friendly and professional. We should have gotten an estimate before hiring the company. We were very surprised by the price when our bill came. I would hire again, but only after getting an estimate.

We didn't hire Bob but I appreciated his responsiveness.

It took about a week to get a response from company after their estimate was submitted. They arranged to do the job and sent an exterior painting crew who did a good-enough job but left piles of garbage, paint chips, broken wood, etc. in my yard. I complained about the garbage and was told that hauling away the garbage was not their job! But they eventually bagged the garbage and put it in my garage. The interior work crew came on time, was courteous and did a good painting job EXCEPT for paint spatters on a glass table, on a rug, on an antique bronze vase, on a kitchen counter, on some glass plates and cooking utensils. When I complained of this they cleaned up the spatters, however after they left I discovered some more minor spatters. Fortunately the paint used was a latex paint and the spatters could be scrapped off. They were able to repair one pocket door but another they could not repair without breaking down a wall. I did not give them permission to break down the wall.

The House Doctors do an excellent job. Bob goes over everything and makes sure that I am happy with the work, and will make any adjustments that I ask. The workmen always call and let me know when to expect them. I am very pleased with the work they do.

There were absolutely no glitches at all. We had a specific budget we needed to work with and they were willing to break down the cost of everything we needed done so if we had to, we could elect to do things piecemeal. There were no surprises at all. I was glad I chose the paint color that Don suggested because if I had gone with my original choice, it would have been too dark. Don't walk to the phone to call The House Doctors, run! You won't be disappointed!

It was quick, painless and reassuring.

The appointment was easy to make. The fellow who did the work was friendly, and showed up on time. I feel stupid that the fix was so simple, but that's hardly their fault. The price charged was simply the fee for a house call, they did not charge me for the new screws.

Everything went very smooth. Bob called me back in a timely manner, we discussed the work I needed done. He came by the next day (he was in the neighborhood and dropped by) to take a look at everything in person, to make sure he understood everything. He told me they would come out the next week, and they did, calling first to make sure I would be home and that it was OK to come over. They worked quickly (it only took about an hour) and Bob stopped by again to make sure everything was going OK. The bill was presented to me upon completion of the job. Very little noise, and no mess to speak of.

I called Saturday and the job was done Monday by the time I got home from work. A message was also left explaining the work done and repairs that were made. Excellent customer service. I was very impressed by the promptness of the job.

The stucco was repaired the day I called. The other work was done promptly as well.

I called and they came out and gave me an estimate within a few days. He was very nice and explained what needed to be done without talking over my head. He was honest and didn't try to scare me into getting work done that I didn't need (which other folks tried to do.) The work was done quickly and professionally. Our steps look great! I can't say enough good things about Bob. He is a gem!

I was pleased with the work done. The company arrived when they said they would, worked consistently and bagged up all trash when they left.

I have used them before and they are great! I found them through Angie's List. I would definitely hire them again!

I called this company for an estimate. They did return my initial call, however I never heard back. They did finally call back and asked if I wanted the estimate and declined the offer. I found someone else to do the work.

Rod Patterson came promptly. He addressed the problems with no delay. He worked efficiently. He only took 45 minutes for the entire job. It went fine! I was very happy with him!

Michael and Jim were very professional. They came on time and completed the job in a timely manner. They did an excellent job and we are very happy with their work. Robert J. Vecchio, owner of The House Doctors, always returned my calls quickly and was always very helpful and accommodating.

We wanted this job done quickly, so they came out late at night to give us an estimate and then were able to do the job the next day. They called part-way through the day and suggested that they re-trim the door to match the other doorway in the room. It meant the cost of the job went up, but I think they were right. They did an excellent job of matching the existing doorway (hard to do in a 90 year old house). They cleaned up after themselves, though I wish they had advised us to drop cloth the rest of our living room as everything was quite dusty after the job. I probably should have know that, but I just didn't think about it. Overall, I was quite impressed with the finished job. It cost a little more than another estimate, but I think it was well worth it.

Bob was very prompt in giving us a quote. It took a couple weeks for them to get to the job, but we told them it was not urgent and since it was an outside job and nobody needed to be home, it really didn't matter. When the job was done, it was done in a day with no hassle. Gutters look great and I thought the price was very reasonable for the work.
