It went very well and was done quickly.

After assessment, the damper was just hung up and the contractor showed my husband what to do and suggested we get a fireplace door which would help keep out the air since we would not be using the gas fireplace.

I would recommend them in the future.

It was an excellent experience. He came at the earliest point of his time frame estimate which I liked. Most of the time you're waiting around. He was very prompt and did a nice job.

They were very professional, had a timely response, and high quality subs were used.

Very well! I was given estimates for four different possible combinations of areas and gates so that I was very clear about my choices. The installers were extremely careful about my plants and treated my gardens with respect. The work was very nicely done and their cleanup was flawless. Everything about them was very professional.

They came out and gave me a estimate. They were to power sand the whole outside of the house but the person didn't want to sand the house. They gave me another person and they didn't even scrap the paint. They didn't want to do a lot of stuff.

Prompt estimate and work done when promised. Would use again or recommend.

I was visiting my daughter for only a few days and was anxious to have these repairs done ASAP. After a few phone calls to places, the House Doctor responded and said they could do the work the same day. Within the hour I had a call from Robert. He was at my daughters apartment in no time. He was very professional, completed the work in a short time, didn't make a mess and from what I can tell did a good job with all the work. I would recommend them without hesitation.

We found the company on Angie's List. They had very high marks. The estimator told us that the project would take three workers all day to complete, in other words, about twenty-four hours total work time. We relied on their reputation through Angie's List and the estimator's assertion that the work was sufficiently complicated or time-consuming to warrant the $1,125.00 estimate. We agreed to have the work done. On the appointed day, two workers (not three) showed up about an hour late. They proceeded to do their work and finished in only three and a half hours! They said they would have to return the next day to complete the job after the ceiling had dried sufficiently. The next day, one worker arrived and completed the project in one hour. We now have in total only eight worker-hours time invested in the job. We then explained to the worker (the company owner's son) that we would not pay the full $1,125.00 for the job since the company representative had overstated the time the job would require by 200 percent and had invested only one third of the time they said was necessary. We felt we were being asked to pay for work promised, but not done. A few hours later, the company owner called and offered to settle our disagreement for $700.00. Although this amount still represented double the time the company spent on the job, we agreed and the matter was settled.

I called the company around 6:30 p.m and the owner answered the phone. As this was not an emergency, he asked if his son could call me back the next week to schedule an estimate. The son, Mike Vecchio, did call me back the following week (around 8:45 p.m!) and scheduled the estimate for the week after that. He called again the night before to confirm our appointment, and arrived at the specified time. I agreed to the estimate. He had two other workers waiting. They chipped out the old grout while Mike went to the hardware store to purchase necessary materials. Mike returned and the whole job was finished in less than an hour. He showed me the finished product and told me when I could use the appliances in question. They cleaned up fairly well after themselves. Update: After the House Doctors' initial visit, in which they grouted and caulked my leaking shower, the shower continued to leak water. I called them back; they returned my call immediately, then came out ON A SATURDAY to re-examine the shower. Two days later (on Monday), Mike returned and applied more caulk and silicone in more places - without charge. They shower is now fine. I am very happy with this job and company!

They did what they said they were going to do. They were prompt and their work was fine. They were quite a bit pricy but none the less they are pretty good.

It was great! It was done at a good price. Bob is always very nice.

They did an excellent job of cleaning the gutters on my house. All the gutters are working fine now. After the job was done they cleaned up the mess that was made. I will use these people again.

He was informative and he gave me some information. I thought that his prices were a bit high, I would have used him if it were not for that. He was a little pushy with his services and price and thought he was being fair.

In the past they did a great job. They were very professional. They explained exactly what they were going to do. I was very pleased with them. But now I am not so pleased because they have not responded.

They guys were really polite. They knew what they were.

They are very responsive, you call them and they call you right back which is rare in the contracting world. The workers do high quality work and I think that they were just outstanding. The only down side was that they were expensive, the highest out of a few other quotes I got but they were able to get to me promptly.

They would only give me an oral estimate, not a written. It was difficult to compare estimate with the others I had. This is the main reason I did not go with them.

Work was completely promptly - however no note was left on my home to let me know that the work was done, nor had I received a call. I did not receive the bill until late August, so some sort of notification would have been beneficial to me, the customer.

The company promptly repaired a broken window in an older home. However, they did not finish the job. They left the new wood unprimed and unpainted. Also while the carpentry looks fine from the street, from the inside of the house it looks clunky and unprofessional. The repaired window frame looks nothing like the other window frames from the inside. They charged $150 for this unfinished work. In addition, their bid to paint the outside of the house was the highest of three estimates I got from highly rated Angie's List contractors, so I didn't go with them.

They had to come out twice to finish the plaster job. I don't think they are terrible but I wouldn't recommend them or ever use them again in the future. He was rude, and condescending to me.

While this was a functional solution, it stands out to anyone looking at the garage that there is/was a problem. There's just no way gray cement block matches with orange tile. I was not consulted before they made the decision to go with cement block. I had used them before for some tuck pointing of the brick on my house and they did a good job on that and I expected better than I got this time.

They responded quick enough. I wanted my chimney cleaned and inspected, they subbed that out to another company. They called the day before they were to come out to clear it with me first. I would hire them again for minor handyman work around the house.

Everything went well. I had called on Saturday and Bob Vecchio responded promptly as usual and Rod, the electrician, came out as promised early on Monday morning. He had replaced the fixture so quickly and quietly that I didn't even realize he was there until I heard his truck door after the job was done. Jaye the fence repair person came out with his crew after I had called Bob again to say that I hadn't heard anything about the fence. Bob said he thought I was in no rush to have it done, but when I told him I really would like the job done before this coming weekend, he sent the crew out. They came out Saturday afternoon and did their work and even had literally stirred up a hornet's nest near the fence. They replaced the posts and stained them and it really looks good. Above and beyond the call of duty----hornet stings and all, they remained in good humor. All Bob's contractors are very polite.
