Bob and his team were timely, professional and nice. Great job overall.

Four men came. They were courteous and I was home at the time. They did work in a timely manner. They cleaned up the debris from gutters. I feel the company is honest and thorough. However, they came on a day when the gutters were frozen. It was not possible to get the gutters perfectly clean. They did the best they could. The next day the weather was 40 degrees and gutters were thawed. They could have gotten everything out on that day. It was my fault too for waiting to have the gutters cleaned until all the leaves had fallen. It was too cold to do the job perfectly.

He mistakenly thought he was hired but he accepted the price from another estimate.

They were prompt to respond, the quote was good and the technician was very friendly.

The House Doctor's reports were the most encouraging of all those I read on Angie's List, so I emailed them on a Saturday afternoon with my requirements. I got a call and an email in return almost immediately, several phone calls over the next four days, and the job was completed 10 days earlier than I required. The job was completed on time and within the estimate, and the workmanship was excellent. I appreciated the timely response and communications. The cost to me was what I had expected from my own research.

After they did the work we needed them to come back and re-route some gutters and we found it difficult to get in touch with them. Once they finally got in touch with us, we still had to keep calling. Otherwise, all the people who did come out seemed eager to do the work. It was just the people you called that did not seem very businesslike at all.

Dave and Scott who were the painters for my house were polite, on time & excellent painters. They also cleaned up each day so that there wasn't any mess around my house. The overall experience was excellent and I would use them again.

Very easy to work with. Scheduled appointment over the net. Showed up when scheduled. Very polite/very thorough. The price may have been a tad on the high side but that could also just be due to the sheer size of the house.

The crew was prompt, went to work immediately, and discovered that the job required additional parts. They explained the situation, indicated that they would return, and departed after cleaning up. The crew returned and finished the job successfully.

One of Bob Vecchio's employees (Jay) responded to our inquiry. He was polite, prompt and provided clear, understandable information and pictures of the problems. We asked for an estimate of two different jobs. I chose to take care of the leaky skylight problem first and wait on the gutter work until Spring. They scheduled the work for a day that was weather appropriate since no one had to be home for the work to be done. It appears the problem is fixed and we have had rain so it has been tested!

The work was done very well, and they came when they said they would. I am happy with the results. Their estimate was slightly higher than another company's, and I would have preferred a few days notice when scheduling the work rather than calling the night before to see if they could come the following morning, but I would still use them in the future.

Bob returned my call promptly and said it would take two men to do the job because of the weight of the mirror. When I said I wanted them to come as soon as the movers left, he said that could be done and it happened. They measured carefully before putting up each item. The mirror took longer than I expected, but I wasn't charged more because of this, and I appreciate the fact they took their time and were so careful.

My home is over 80 years old and settling has altered the frame of my back door so much that opening and closing it was almost impossible. In fact, I had replaced this door once before, 19 years ago. Michael, of The House Doctors, promptly responded with options for repair. I decided to go with total replacement, and the job was completed in two days as planned. Extensive frame work and carpentry changes were provided since the opening was so irregular. An entire new metal door with windows was installed along with dead bolt locks. The opening and closing is better now than it has ever been since I've lived here! Note: The price stated also included repair and plastering/painting of a water damaged ceiling in the kitchen, nook and foyer ceilings.

Water damage from the bathtub area above, caused extensive damage to the kitchen ceiling of my 80+ year old house. The House Doctors responded quickly to my request for an estimate and completed the work in a timely manner. The ceiling looks great (like new). Although some wallpaper was accidentally removed by the protective taping on the wall, Michael offered compensation to me and the wallpaper was efficiently and quickly repaired.

This review is long overdue. I've used House Nurses for 3 months now and would highly recommend them. Lori does a great job and is very receptive to feedback. Most impressive is that they purchased "green" cleaners just for our house since the chemical cleaners bother my infant and preschooler. I mentioned it and they had everything by the next cleaning appointment. Lori is nice to have in the house and very good with kids. I am glad we found House Nurses!

The low voltage outdoor lighting system for my home had failed. One contractor wanted to redo the entire wiring system and would not even guarantee that changing the wiring would help. Rod came out and was organized, efficient, reliable, polite and on time. He also made helpful suggestions regarding what needed to be done. Everything works fine now and I am very pleased.
