The House Doctors

The House Doctors did a very good job. The workers at our house were very pleasant and respectful. They were careful to make as small a hole in our ceiling as possible to locate the leak and quickly installed a new ceiling, so the room below the bathroom looks better than before the leak started. The newly tiled shower looks great. They were willing to accomodate our tile choice and were incredibly responsive to any question or concern we raised throughout the process. The shower that was retiled presented some difficulties due to its original construction and I think the level of service and care brought to this job by the House Doctors was extraordinary and we will certainly use them again in the future.

I had a good experience with them. We communicated everything by phone. He came out, gave an estimate, and left it in my mail box. He was not pricey. Some of the bricks had broken and a lot of the mortar had come out. He came out when he said he was going to come and did the work. I never saw him. I reached home and saw the work was done. I wrote the check and mailed it to their address.

I called for an estimate, and was seen very promptly. We started services within a week. Lori has spent about 4 hours cleaning our house. She gets a lot of good work done in that time.

They did quality work, and they were not afraid to look beyond what they were going to do.

It went excellent. The crew was professional, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves.

I had very little, input, they did all the work.

The quote to clean an 1800 square foot, 3 bedroom, 2 bedroom house (ranch) with no basement was $105 if I paid cash or $140 if I paid check. I thought it was a bit strange that the price was different depending on the method of payment. That made me skeptical of their business practices. The quote did not include cleaning a large dining room or small bedroom (both at my request). They also would have used all of my cleaning equipment and supplies, except the vinegar to wash the floors, since I have cats and am sensitive about the chemicals used in my home. Ultimately, I ended up choosing another provider that quoted a slightly lower price (that did not differ based on the method of payment) and offers benefits and health insurance to their full-time employees.

It went very well. They began the work on schedule and finished much sooner than I had anticipated. They also did a few extra things for me beyond what I had contracted for.

It went great. As promised, his crew came out and replaced the gutters early in the week. He called me that night to let me know the work was completed. I was very impressed with his professionalism and responsiveness. The price was $867.00 which I thought was reasonable based on them needing to replace the fascia board as well as the gutters being on the third floor and very difficult to get to.

I called The House Doctors on Sunday afternoon after waiting 4 hours for another plumber who ultimately said he could not make it. Bob Vecchio answered the phone and said he would have someone to the house within 2 hours. The technician, Robert, arrived early. He was courteous and went right to work, unclogging the drain in 20 minutes. The charge of $85 was fair relative to other companies I had considered and there was no extra charge for service on a Sunday. I would use this company again.

I was very impressed with the gutter fix. They were very prompt and did good work.

Owner answered the phone when I first called early on a Friday morning. Workers came out as scheduled 4 hours later to assess problem. Workers then came as scheduled the following Monday and did the work. They were professional, responsive to our needs, and did everything we asked of them. They finished promptly and gave advice on further measures that can be done to improve our roof overall.

These people were great. Responded quickly and with no hesitation to come to a condominium property that is usually serviced by its own maintenance crew who were unavailable and seemingly unable to properly address the problem.

We like this company. They're very professional. They give you estimates on price and completion time. Their estimates are always right on. If there's a change in the cost or the time frame you're made aware of it well in advance so you can decide if you want to continue with the job. The workers are on time and the quality of their work is great. Clean up is fantastic, too. We've used them on a number of projects and we'll keep using them.

They repaired the garage door so that it closes fully and moves easily. It hasn't worked this smoothly in a long time!

I called the House Doctors on a Sunday after discovering water damage on a bedroom ceiling. I was hoping Bob would call me back on Monday morning. Well, he called me back on Sunday!!! He said he would send someone out the next day. On Monday, the roofer called me to let me know when he would be here. He showed up on time. He examined the roof and found 4 shingles were missing. He took a picture of the area on his digital camera so I could see it for myself. He called Bob to ask for an estimate, which he then provided to me. He then went to the store, bought the shingles and replaced them that same day. He took another picture to show me what the roof looked like after his repair work was done.

They came in with an estimate well under everyone else and did a job that I don't think anyone else could have done. The job was done roughly in a day, they had to come back the next day to finish up a small section instead of trying to do it in the dark and make mistakes. I was out of town when the job was done and when I came back I noticed that they had cleaned up so well, had I not known they were doing the work I would have never known they were there. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys to anyone looking to have work done on, at, around the house.

They were very polite and they came right away, very timely. The man that had to come into the house was very polite. It was a nice experience.

They provided the quote in a timely manner, arrived on time for the job, were professional, were conscientious and completed the job in a reasonable time period.

They were prompt. They gave us a quote, I called and said I wanted to go with it, so they came back out and did it quickly. They were friendly and took all their trash away. I've used The House Doctors several times. They are excellent and very responsive. They are not low priced but they get out and get things done when they say they are going to.

It was the first time we used the company and had a good experience. We called them a few days before Christmas, and they were one of a few who could do the job within a couple days. Lori showed up the next day (a snowy day) and did a fantastic job. She not only cleaned the entire house thoroughly, but also organized each room in a way that was beyond our expectation. She used only the Green products, which was also a plus, as we have little kids at home.

It went very well. They were quick, efficient & it was a neat job & I had liked what they had done. I felt the price was pretty good. I would use them again in the future.

There wasn't anything wrong with it. He just showed me how to turn it on. I was thrilled to death because I had been waiting to get my fireplace lit for a long time. The gentleman was very nice & said that there wasn't anything wrong with it & that it was clean & he just showed me how to turn it on properly & that was it. I would give him an A for an overall grade because he was quick, efficient & honest. I would use him again in the future. He suggested some other things about some other jobs he does & I am thinking about it.
