The House Doctors

It went very well and was completed within the time line I was given. I was kept informed as work progressed. Crew was punctual, extremely accommodating, and agreeable. Clean up was good.

I called for an estimate and got a quick response. The price was comparable with other quotes I received. I have used the House Doctors for work on the exterior of my home before, and was pleased with their work and cleanliness on the job. They notified me the night before them came to do the work, and the work was completed in one day. I am please with the outcome.

This is the second time I have used there service. They cleaned up well after the service was completed and did a nice job.

Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Mr. Vecchio returned my calls in a timely manner and was willing to work with me in regards to the payment and the scheduling. I did not have to be home for The House Doctors to perform this job.

I had felt cold air coming in from around the sides of my windows all winter, so I called House Doctors for their assessment and estimate. Another company had suggested work costing over $2200. House Doctors felt that while that expensive procedure probably would work, a less involved procedure might solve the problem just as well. Since House Doctors method would cost under $300, we felt it was worth a try rather than jumping into the $2200 remedy. On the day of service, three young men arrived on time and got right to work. They worked steadily and efficiently for two hours. Not only did I admire their work ethic, but I was pleased with their politeness and good natures. Before they left, they made sure they cleaned up completely. Since it's spring, I must wait until winter to see if their work solved my problem, I would call House Doctors again for this problem and any other problem. I'm totally pleased with House Doctors, and I trust them.

The experience was very good. I got an excellent service from them. They were very punctual and very professional. They did not leave any mess when they took down the old blinds and discarded them downstairs.

After buying a rehabbed home, we were surprised our first weekend to have a leak on our third story roof. Of course this happened on a Sunday evening, we called and the next morning Jay was out bright and early to check out the roof. He could tell right away the problem (*someone* put shingles on a metal roof). He had a crew come out the next day to put a tarp on because it was still too cold to do any work. Due to the weather, it was over a month before they could do the repairs but Bob Vecchio, the owner, would call periodically to check in to make sure the tarp was holding. We had some REALLY strong wind but that tarp held strong the entire time. When the day finally came that their crew was starting, I expected to come home tofind th on my roof, but much to my surprise, they were finished by 4:30! The tarp was neatly folded on my back porch and no signs of debris anywhere! Bob even called my husband to let him know when they completed the job. I was so pleased to have everything done in a day! Although I hope I don't need to, I would definitely use The House Doctors again - there's a reason they are rated so highly on Angie's List and word of mouth. They cost a little more than the other company we had out here for an estimate (home warranty company - wasn't covered due to bad workmanship) but not enough for me to put my roof in the hands of anyone else in the Cleveland area.

Removed old fence including posts and set new posts in one afternoon. Returned the next afternoon and installed the replacement fence complete.

The House Doctors came within a few days of my initial phone call. They were on time, friendly and professional. They completed the job within a couple of hours and we were very pleased.

During a Sunday deluge, the roof leaked a lot around the chimney. Water was gushing into the attic and it took two buckets to catch it all. I called the next morning and a serviceman came out early that afternoon, which was very sunny. He went up on the roof and repaired the flashing very quickly. We appreciate the prompt response, the professional manner of the workman, and the apparent quality of the work. We were also glad he could do a minor indoor job re-positioning the handrail on the main staircase, which had popped completely off the wall. The work was so clean, it's hard to even tell anything was moved at all. We've used them before and we will use them again.

I thank Angie's List for this new company in my life. Mike Vecchio runs the House Nurses; works with his dad and the House Doctors as well. Prompt, personable, fair, puts himself "out there" with apparent sincerity. His employee, Billie, cleaned my house today....4 hours of intense work (after a morning cleaning job and before a night job of cleaning a medical building!!). And she was a gem, constantly asking me how things looked, if I'd let her know if she missed anything, what more could she do. Both Billie and her boss, Mike, are the real stuff of our hardworking, honest and dedicated businesses. Great work ethic, pride.

I called them and it took them a while to get back to me. Someone finally came out to take a look at my project. A few days later they called me to give me the estimate.

We are very happy with the service that we are receiving and would recommend The House Nurses to anyone who is looking for quality service.

The work was well done. They were very professional. Rescheduled their work to fix our leaks before it rained. My only suggestion, the crew should stop in or leave a note that explains what has been complete at the end of each day and if /when they will return. Overall they did a very good job!

Plumber called when I was told he'd call. He said when he'd be out and that he'd call half an hour in advance. Plumber didn't call half an hour in advance, but they arrived when they said they would. Plumbers didn't quote rate, and I didn't ask. Plumbers removed shoes, which I asked them to do. They were careful about dirt. Plumbers were pleasant and professional. Tub works fine now.

All of this went well and far exceeded my expectations.

They did not do a good job the first time then they had to come out the second time to fix the initial issues. This for me is a turn off as I don t want to be pointing out things to them that have not been done properly. I was disappointed in them and the quality of their work. They came out with not enough tools and the job did not look finished. The owner then had to come out for finessing things which could have been done in the first place. They cleaned well after themselves. They were professional and courteous. I guess my expectation from them was a little bit higher because of the high rating I saw for them in Angie s list.

They were very informative, professional and very thorough. They took precautionary measures to make sure everything remained clean. They were also quick and finished the work in timely manner. They cleaned everything after the work was done. I think they did a superb job and I was very happy with their work.

Bob and his team were prompt, as always. Hauled away all the debris and left the site clean and neat.

We called the owner, who had the electrician call us back to schedule an appointment for a couple of days later. On the day he called to let us know his ETA. The guy was friendly and took about 15 minutes to do the work, which looks good. We received an invoice in the mail a couple of days later.

Lori and Billy are a great team. They are prompt, work really hard and clean thoroughly. They are willing to do extras like clean the cat fur from the bottoms of the draperies. Each time Lori asks if I'm satisfied and if I see something that is missed they complete it right away. In additional, both are personable and pleasant ladies. I'm happy to have found them and to have their service!

They came out and were responsive and they worked hard to get everything done. The service was excellent.

I have used Bob and House Doctors before. The only downside was the back chimney was overlooked in the estimate, but I was given a significant price break because it was not my mistake. The mason was prompt and professional. The work looks great. I have some other jobs needing done, and I will definitely call House Doctors in the future.
