My wife called them in the morning and they were out the same day and got the job done very quickly. Very responsive, very prompt.

This is the second time that I have used House Doctors. This gutter was in an akward spot to get to. They came when I wasn't home and did the repairs. Bob called me that evening and told me exactly what they had done. They are a company that you can rely on to show up and to do professional work. They will take on small jobs and do a variety of work.

They did everything they said they would. They did a high quality job and worked hard. No issues with the service.

They welded the hinges to my gate and put the screws through the post and had it opening toward the sidewalk away from my property. This is a problem because it will block people walking on the sidewalk when the gate is open. They also cracked the gatepost when they were working. The two gateposts are different sizes so the gate is crooked.

We live in Florida and recently purchased a double in Lakewood that will be our summer home when hubby retires. We currently rent out both the lower and upper unit. A new tenant was moving into the upper apt and we needed the unit to be move-in ready. I decided first to search for someone that could do the total job instead of hiring several different companies. And that's how I found The House Doctors! I spoke with the owner, Bob Vecchio, who was very professional and reassuring that he could do do the work I requested. After viewing the home, he called, gave me the estimate and the work was completed in a timely manner. Due to living in Florida, I had to take a risk and trust that the work would be completed to my satisfaction without actually seeing it for myself! Bob had different professionals for each of the tasks. The interior painting included scraping, patching and painting the front stairway, patch work and complete painting of the bathroom, and routine painting of the rest of the apartment. I had the screens replaced on the front porch. The apartment was cleaned and the carpet shampooed. Now for the hard part... I had to rely on the renters to be my eyes! We did a "walk through" over the phone. I was told that the unit looked beautiful and all tasks were fully completed. I am so glad I found The House Doctors! Bob Vecchio will always be my "go to" person when our home is in need of anything! Bob was very professional and accommodating. He did not request any money until the work was completed to my satisfaction. Even without seeing for myself, I am very confident that The House Doctors did a "complete exam", followed the "orders", and the home is in "excellent condition"!

The repairs were done when I was working, and everything was taken care of when I got home.

They were very timely, respectful, even charming. Good sense of humor, extremely reasonable in cost, great quality of work, so great to see so many things done I've wanted done for so long. I was amazed at how clean they left everything, even after warning me that there might be a lot of dust from repairing drywall. I'm working with them now on refencing my yard.

I have used them for other projects. They do good consistent work.

THey worked closely with me on dates to start, including flexibility around our vacation. A snafu occurred between the original plans and the architects they involved. However, The House Doctors were totally responsive to the issue and "made good", resulting in a nicer design than was originally planned. We're so glad we finally added a deck to our home. We've been using it morning and night. With the hot, humid weather this past month and the lack of AC in our 98-year old home, it's been a blessing.

I am so pleased with the House Nurses. They are very professional and friendly. I enjoy having them in the house, and so do my kids. I plan to use them for as long as they are around!

As always, working with Bob Vecchio of The House Doctors was easy and worry free. Appointments are set up promptly (once the windows came in) and work was completed in a timely and professional manner. They always do an excellent job and always clean up after themselves. We are grateful to Bob for all the work he and his guys have done for us.

They first went to take a look at the shed and called me with an estimate. I agreed to the price and told them it wasn't an emergency or anything. But they actually got it done the very next week. I was very pleased. Hardly any trace of the shed and/or junk was left. Good work and very efficient.

I had used The House Doctors a few times during the past several years for odd jobs and had nothing but very good things to say. That was when I was dealing with Bob Vecchio. This time it was his son, Mike. The whole experience was bad. I called because the City was doing a point of sale inspection and -- since timing was going to be critical -- I asked that they come to the house to walk through while the inspector was here. Mike said no problem. He was late to the inspection (but walked through to witness the citations and talk with the inspector). There were several items, nothing major. Mike said he could not replace a coal chute door and door frame because the part was unavailable (even though I was easily able to find the part in stock at The Fire Shoppe, the first store I checked). He was difficult to reach when I needed him. He did not do some of the items listed on his quote, and that he agreed to do. His invoice included work he did not perform. We failed the re-inspection. Not once did he apologize. In fact, he argued about my reduced payment, due to his invoice being inaccurate. It was as poor an example of customer service as I have seen in awhile. If my company treated customers this way, we would never do any repeat business. Overall, he was tardy, unprofessional, difficult to reach, sloppy, and lazy. I would never recommend them again.

Both times I have used them they have been punctual, friendly, efficient and detail-oriented. The have a good sense of how many people to bring and how long it will take. While its a little more than I would like to spend, the job they do lasts longer so I think the cost averages out in the end.

The work had to be done because we were in violation of the housing code. The company responded promptly to our request for an estimate. They began the work three days later and completed it in three days. We are very satisfied with their performance.

They were great. They brought out a representative from Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore to consult on what type of paint to use. They were friendly,used lots of tarps and did a profesional job with good cleanup. It took a lot of labor to prep the surfaces to be painted.

They did a very profesional job. A lot of labor was involved because they had to remove slates from the roof to attach the straps. They used twice as many straps and secured them with screws instead of rivets. I am confident these gutters will not tear off during the winter.

Great! I had a tight work schedule and they worked with me. As usual they got back to me quickly and the work was scheduled and completed with in the same week. Bob & Mike Vecchio run a great company!

The House Nurses arrived earlier than expected and I was pulling into my driveway as they were calling their supervisor for instructions as to whether to stay put or go. They said they had finished their previous job early. To their credit, they did not leave. I showed them what had to be done and they got right to work. It was a job because my parents are very old and don't see well. Their home is in a lovely suburban community of old, well maintained, homes but the old homes are also hard to clean, which this was. I appreciated their thoroughness, appropriate professional observations about things they encountered during cleaning, of which I would want to be aware, and the steady tempo of their work. They were in the home for approximately 3 1/2 hours and they earned every penny that was charged. I would hire them again anytime and will, when I return to town.
