John proceeded to remove the old brick and the cracked top deck. He added a new cement foundation to build upon. He did a beautiful job of building the brick structure. Then he placed the original stone steps in place. The concrete deck was poured on top of a support brace in the center of the deck. He also poured concrete to replace the old concrete at the base of the steps extending to the blacktop drive. This work was covered in the original estimate as this walk was also crackng and disintegrating. John cleaned up the work area as the job proceeded. Rainey days slowed down the process, but John was back on the job as quickly as weather permitted. John Bailey is an excellent mason. I could not have wished for a more perfect and beautiful job. He showed both care and pride in his work. He was also very pleasant to work with, and answered my questions as he performed the work. At the end of the job, we decided that the joint of the new concrete walk and blacktop needed to be filled with a blacktop sealer. John came back on a Sunday to complete this item. He also buffed the steps to remove some stains.

The project took awhile mostly due to unforeseen circumstances, but the job was done excellently, we were very happy with the work.

They installed the new shingles with ones that closely matched the old ones. They went up on the roof with a garden hose and found exactly where the leak was. They then thought they patched it but after testing found that the leak was actually under what they initially patched. They then fixed it again and got the leak. I'm glad that they tested for the leak again after the firtst fixe because it saved me from having to have them come back to fix it again. It seems like a logical thing to do but not everyone would take the extra time to do it. I waited this long to submit a report because I wanted to check during a rainstorm to make sure that there were no more leaks but do to a lack of rainfall in Lakewood, I had to wait until now. Good Job!

The overall experience was excellent. The professionalism of the service workers and the follow-up was outstanding. They were very competitive and responsive. The work itself was exceptional as well. The wonderful thing about using this company was the fact that I was able to get alot of jobs done with using only one company. I'm planning to have them do some construction/roofing work for me in the middle of October. I'm very satisfied with their services.

I was very pleased with everything. Patrick had first come out and tried gluing the part so that it sealed properly. He even took a picture of the part, in case it did not work and had to be replaced. He did not charge me at all for this visit!! He said it might not hold and I should call him if it does not. It worked for about a week, and then it started running again. I called and because he still had the picture on his phone, he was able to get the part and come right to my house and fix it. I was very impressed that he tried the no cost solution first. I would definitely use them again.

Job was neatly done and I didn't even know they had taken care of things until I returned from vacation. I use the House Doctors all the time for advice and work. Bob will discuss the project with me and then when I am ready they put it on their schedule. I have never been disappointed.

It was great. They did everything that we discussed. If anyone is considering using House Doctor, they won't be disappointed.

The process was exploratory so steps followed, while they could not positively identify the leak, were logical and aimed for the best result. The final test will be a hard rain, but I am fairly confident that the leak should be stopped.

The work was done very well, the cleanup was great, they were very careful, and the results were excellent. The crew members were very professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. They have done other work for me in the past, and I've consistently been very pleased.

The House Doctors handled all repair, cleaning and painting very quickly after our call and settling on a quotation. The gutter work was completed quickly, thoroughly and professionally within one day of my request. The staining of the house required two days which included a thorough inspection, scraping, and repair of warped siding and insect holes. Attention was paid to heavily weathered areas so that the stain of all surfaces was of uniform color and texture. Over all, an excellent job! Also, the clean up after the the work left no trace of them having been there!

During the quote visit, I indicated that I would not be at home when the cleaners would come, so I wanted to give them a key. Mike did not want to take a key. He said I should "stash" a key somewhere outside my house. I was not comfortable with this option. This is the only reason I did not use this service.

They are great. They have the same crew come out each time. They are wonderful cleaners and they are very nice.

Within 20 minutes, the plumber was here and fixed the issue. I can just rave about them and they are such nice people!

On a Sunday night I immediately called Bob Vecchio from the House Doctors. He got back to me instantly.I was very distress about the damage to the room, and Bob was very reassuring and helpful in the whole process. The next day he sent workers over to removed the damaged furniture, the rugs, the floor and to removed the mold and run fans. The did a great job. The house doctors, put up dry wall, painted, but down a new floor, and even built shelves in a closet. The lights were replaced and the electrical was updated. They really came through in a crises. It was a lot of work and now the room looks great

Excellent, very professional, timely , and courteous

I was contacted by telephone and given an estimate. I was told that the stone would have to be ordered I was contacted when it was ready and the worker arrived on time and completed tne repair. The date may not be exact.

The entire experience was excellent - - all phone calls promptly returned; work done as promised on schedule. Very professional people and high quality work. They do much more than flooring and tile.....we will be sure to call them first for any future needs.

called Bob regarding the problem. He immediately went to my house the following day to get an overview of the problem and the work needed to fix it. called me the same day regarding the details of the work and how much it would cost. once i agreed on the price, he came the next day and fixed it. the good thing was that i need not have to be present at the residence both during his inspection day and on the work day. he said that the invoice for the service will be mailed to me. i am very happy with their work and would highly recommend them. they are very professional, got the job done quickly, and bob was very courteous and friendly. i would certainly utilize their services in future.

They were prompt with estimates and work done. Quality was excellent. They returned promptly when called to fix a problem that arose. Painting was neat with no drippings left behind. Easy to deal with.

I was told by the gentleman who answered that he would come within a day or two, look at the house, walk around to measure the gutters and he would leave an estimate in the mailbox. He took our address, name and phone number. Well more then 2 days went by, we received our other estimates, but none from him. He never called, nor did he ever leave an estimate. I would be very wary of calling him again for any work I was considering having done.

Overall it was an excellent experience.
