The House Doctors

The only wood on the exterior of our house is at a bay window in the front. Over time, the area at the bottom and between the windows showed rotting from being wet behind the wood. I had called three different contractors for estimates, and none ever showed up. I went to Angies list and tried The House Doctors. I talked to Bob Vecchio over the phone and explained the issue. He came out without me even knowing he was here and called me back with an estimate a short time later. Two weeks after that, his crew showed up, let me know they were starting work. In a matter of four hours the work was done and it looks great. Nice job.

Bob (the owner) was extremely responsive and very easy to deal with on the phone. We received same day contact after contacting him through AL for a rough estimate to perform the work. That same week, Bob had a tech dispatched to our home and we had shut-off valves installed and O-ring replaced. Tech was very personable and explained all facets of the work he performed. Would absolutely call The House Doctors back for future work.

I have used them before and they are always great. They are caring people. They show up on time. They let you know when they are coming if necessary and they will leave you messages if needed. They are clean and neat.

As always, The House Doctors came as promised, were very professional and did each job with care and expertise. And, after they've completed each job, they always do a great job of cleaning up. They have yet to disappoint me.

Bob calls to see if all my leaves are down and when I give the high sign he sends his people out. They are polite, and neat.

First, I thank House Doctors for calling to remind me that this needed to be done. It was on my list but they were looking out for me. All I did was give them the word, as in previous years, and they came out to get the job done quickly, efficiently, without fanfare and at a reasonable price. This is typical of my experience with House Doctors.

I made an appointment for a quote but they did not show up and did not call. I went with another company.

It went great. We have been using them for about 3 or 4 years. They always do a good job and they are not pricey. They are very easy to work with.

The job went very well. I called the House Doctors yesterday to schedule the gutter cleaning, and they were here this morning to perform the work.

I called to get an estimate for a leaking roof and other roof problems. When they finally called back, on a Tuesday, they said they could come out the following Monday at 2:30. I took off work early and sat there waiting. Nobody showed up, not even a phone call. Totally unprofessional to think people have the time to sit and wait for a no show. I wouldn't even consider using them after this.

I always use the House Doctors. I called Bob. He discussed and asked questions. He sent someone to look up close and take pictures and show me what he found. We talked about time lines and when they came to do the gutters they did the roof as well. They removed siding, fixed flashing and replaced the siding.

I called Bod early that week and his son Mike arrived in a couple of days. They looked at the broken spindle and was able to repair it in about 30 minutes. This organization is great to work with.

They came on the date agreed upon to go over my project. A week alter, I haven't received a return call or an estimate. I was told the workman would be getting with his manager for a figure, but I never heard back.

Prompt estimate, prompt service, done exactly as promised and at the promised price. What more can you ask for?

Workmen repaired and replaced damaged garage door aluminum facia panels, and while they were here, they fixed sagging gutters and popped loose aluminum siding pieces back in place.

Overall, everything went well. They cleaned up each day and followed-up to be sure I was happy, The kitchen looks great and I plan to use them again to paint a couple more rooms.

I contacted Mike for an estimate to have a thorough cleaning done after construction (plus our home just needed an extra dose of dusting.) We received our estimate promptly and scheduled our cleaning date soon after. Angela and Ashely arrived at the house right on time and I provided them with a list of specific areas to target, as well as special cleaning instructions for certain pieces of furniture. They set to work and did everything on the list--windows, dusting baseboards, vacuuming curtains--and more. They were each pleasant and friendly while they were here. After 6 hours on the job the ladies were finished. Everything smelled so fresh when they were done--I must say my house hasn't been this clean since, probably ever!

We are very satisfied with the work that was performed. The workers were able to minimize the amount of dust generated during the repair process, carefully covered areas prior to painting, and cleaned up the work areas at the end of each day.

As always, House Doctors was extremely responsive. The door was fixed quickly and professionally.

They did a very professional job and they cleaned up everything after the jobs were all done. We would definitely use them again.

Their price was reasonable. They talked us through the process. They were empathetic to my elderly parents situation.

House Doctors came out and gave me an estimate within a few days. He told me it would be a couple of weeks before the work could be done and it was performed within that time frame. Since all the work was on the exterior of the house, it was not necessary for me to be there when it was done. Therefore I was not present when the work was done but it was completed in one day. When I came home I was very satisfied with the work. You couldn't even tell where the tuckpointing was done which is the sign of a job well done.

the plumber had to bring in the big guns to get the drain clear and then he went the extra step and replaced some old plumbing under the sink and resealed the connections. Now everything drains beautifully!
