I thought that his estimate price was good, but I did not feel comfortable with the details. His answers were not complete and he didn’t seem knowledgeable. After reading his ratings on Angie's List, I am not going to hire him.
Description of Work: He came out and gave an electrical estimate.

THIS OUTFIT IS TERRIBLE! Frankly I was shocked at the shoddiness of the work. Here's a list. 1. Only drywalled ONE side of the wall! When I called Terry he said two sides weren't in the quote and the unfinished side was in the basemnt anyway. 2. When they framed in the wall they drove nailsTHROUGH the stair step sides so sharp nail ends were protruding about 1/4" 3. They were here only 1 day so they plastered the drywall joints and put a fan on it durin lunch, came back and sanded. 4. The finish sanding was absolutely not presentable. You could see waves, uneven surfaces, etc. Bitsof joint compound were on an electrical cover-they didn't even remove it. 5. they nailed on a piece of trim and you can literally see daylight through the crack. My wife didn't know any better and paid them after they finished. When I got home I couldn't believe how bad the work was . I called Terry and he was rude and uncaring. He offered to come over and "fix it up" for another $50!! I had to call in another contractor (which was great) and for another $250.00 finished the job and fixed the surface so it could be painted. AWFUL! DON'T USE THEM-YOU WILL REGRET IT.
Description of Work: My stairway to the basement was open to the unfinished room on the left side and I wanted it walled-in to obstruct the view from the landing upstairs. Basically it wasto enclose one side of a stairwell with a triangular shaped drywall wall approximately 7 ft. long and 4 ft. high at it's largest angle side.

The holes that were drilled for the ethernet cable were OK. The amount of cable required was approximately 60 feet. However a cable length of 100 feet was used. There is approximately an excess of 35 feet of cable in my office. I had to ask for the excess cable to be coiled and secured by a cable tie. If not coiled and secured with a cable tie, I would have the 35 feet of cable lying on the floor. When you drill through drywall, there will be a white power dust all over the area near the drilled hole. They did not clean up their mess. The hole was about 1/2 inch and the cable is much smaller. No cable relief grommets were used where the cable exited and entered the house. They were leaving and I had to ask them to put silicone in the holes to keep ants, spiders and such from entering my home. They were is a big hurry to get paid and leave.
Description of Work: The job required running an ethernet cable from an upstairs office to the downstairs kitchen. A hole had to be drilled through the wall, in both the kitchen and office. An ethernet cable was run from the office thru the hole to the outside and then back into the house through the hole in the kitchen.

CARELESSNESS, CHIPPED MY NEW MEDICINE CHEST/MIRROR AND DID NOT INFORM. WALKED ON THE NEW CERAMIC TILED FLOOR AFTER IT WAS COMPLETE WITH LIQUID NAILS STUCK ALL OVER THIS BOOTS. HE CUT THE DOOR BOTTOM VERY CROOKED AND COVERED HIS MISTAKE UP WITH THE GROUT FROM THE FLOOR. HE DID NOT SEAL AND CAULK THE SHOWER SURROUND CORRECTLY. HE USED A DULL JAGGED TILE CUTTER. HE LAID HIS HEAVY TOOLS ON MY NEW COUNTERTOP AND WHEN I ASKED HIM TO COVER IT FIRST HE DID NOT. HE ARRIVED LATE MORNINGS AND THE JOB TOOK 7 DAYS. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT TO SAY THE LEAST. MY HUSBAND ALSO HAD TO FUSS WITH THE NEW FAUCET AFTER HE LEFT.
Description of Work: HE WAS HIRED TO INSTALL NEW CERAMIC FLOOR, TOILET, VANITY, COUNTER, SHOWER SURROUND IN MY MAIN BATH.
