Mr. Farinacci retured our call within one working day, he appeared at our house on time after we agreed on a day and time to meet, and was professional in every respect. He provided a reasonable written bid within a couple of days. We would have definitely hired him to do the project, but we had another unexpected repair to make that tapped the funds we had reserved for the walk. When we recover from that next spring, we will certainly contact Mr. Farinacci to do this project.

They came out and gave me an estimate. I was led to believe it would happen sometime last summer, after a couple weeks of dry weather. I called in August and left a message. I was told it would be done in September. No one called back to schedule and no work was ever done. I didn't try again. I give them an A, because they came to give the estimate. It's unfortunate, that they never followed up with the work.

Provided suggestions on how to design the patio and did beautiful work! It was a great experience. Neighbors were extremely appreciative when TJ's knocked on the door to tell them to close the windows (since they would be kicking up a bunch of dust from the cutting of pavers). Great experience.

We are very pleased with the results. Even though this was a small job, TJ fit us in quickly and the area looks beautiful. He was very pleasant, reasonably priced and gave us exactly what we wanted.

I contacted TJ Farinacci for an estimate on expanding a patio at our home. TJ returned my call promptly, made an appointment for a convenient time for me to come out and give me an estimate, was on-time and pleasant. He clearly knows his stuff, brought samples, had product catalogs and photos of his recent work. We ended up working with a different contractor, but I would call TJ again for a different project. He was very nice to deal with.

TJ responded to my first phone call the same afternoon and came to quote within a couple of days. We had a long wait for quotes from other companies, and during that time TJ checked back with us to be sure we had received his quote. He came to give a second quote when we decided we wanted natural stone rather than pavers. He ordered the stone straight away, and once we informed him that the outside spigot had been moved, he arranged for the patio to be laid a couple of days later. The work took a day and a half with TJ and his team starting at 7.30. Everyone involved was polite, professional and hard working. The quality of the work is excellent, from preparation to finish. It has been a real pleasure to deal with TJ, and we would definitely contact him for future work. He even reminded me that there was a discount for Angie's List members!

He came by the next day & called later to give me 3 options. I called back the next day with a few more questions & he emailed me the answers. He said he could do the work in the next month, but ended up getting to it within a week. He always returned my calls, came when he said he would. The walkway looks good. This was small job for him & I appreciate his timeliness.

THIS WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE & I HIGHLY RECOMMEND TJ & HIS CREW. HE SAID HE'D CALL WITHIN 2 WEEKS TO SCHEDULE THE DATE, WHICH HE DID. HE DID CALL THE DAY BEFORE TO START WORK THE NEXT DAY- SO IT CAN BE EXTREMELY SHORT NOTICE. HOWEVER, YOU REALLY DON'T HAVE TO BE THERE. TJ SUPERVISED THE WORK. HE DOESN'T USE SUBS. THEY WERE DONE IN 1.5 DAYS. THEY DID MORE WITH THE DRAIN WORK THAN THEY ANTICIPATED, & DID NOT CHARGE ME EXTRA. ALSO, HE DIDN'T ASK FOR ANY MONEY DOWN & LEFT THE BILL IN MY MAILBOX.

T.J. IS A REAL PLEASURE TO WORK WITH. HE RETURNED MY INITIAL CALL PROMPTLY, AND WAS AVAILABLE WITHIN A FEW DAYS TO COME OUT TO DISCUSS THE JOB. AFTER I HAD SELECTED THAT MATERIAL THAT I WANTED TO USE, T.J. PREPARED A PRECISE, PROFESSIONAL, WRITTEN ESTIMATE. ON THE DAY THAT WE HAD SCHEDULED FOR THE PATIO TO BE INSTALLED, HE AND HIS CREW ARRIVED RIGHT ON TIME, AND SET TO WORK. ALL OF HIS GUYS WERE VERY POLITE. WATCHING THEM WORK WAS PRETTY AMAZING, TALENTED, EXPERIENCED, AND THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT ARE AN IMPRESSIVE COMBINATION. THEY BUILT AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING PATIO, LEFT THE JOB SITE SPOTLESS, AND EVEN WENT THE EXTRA MILE. TOP SOILING AND SEEDING AROUND THE PERIMETER OF THE PATIO. ANYONE PLANNING TO HAVE A PAVER PATIO INSTALLED SHOULD DEFINITELY CONSIDER THIS COMPANY.

I SENT AN EMAIL TO T. FARINACCI ON A WEDNESDAY. BY FRIDAY, I HAD NOT HEARD FROM THEM, SO I CALLED. I SPOKE TO A WOMAN WHO SEEMED SLIGHTLY EXASPERATED WITH MY CALL? WHEN I WAS GIVING MY INFORMATION, SHE ASKED IF ''THERE WAS A BETTER NUMBER WHERE I COULD BE REACHED''. I FINALLY GOT A CALL BACK THE FOLLOWING MONDAY FROM T. FARINACCI WHO SAID HE HAD BEEN ''TRYING TO REACH [ME]''. I GAVE HIM A AN APPROX. SQ. FOOTAGE OF THE PATIO WORK WE WANTED DONE AND HE ESTIMATED THE JOB WOULD BE $2K AND SAID THAT HE USUALLY DIDN'T DO SUCH SMALL JOBS, BUT WOULD BE WILLING TO COME OUT. IT WAS CLEAR FROM HIS TONE AND MY ENTIRE INTERACTION WITH THEM THAT THEY DID NOT WANT OUR WORK AND WERE ANNOYED WITH OUR INQUIRY. IN THE MEANTIME WE ALREADY OBTAINED AN ESTIMATE FROM A WONDERFUL CONTRACTOR NOT OBTAINED FROM YOUR LIST AND THE $5K JOB HAS ALREADY BEEN COMPLETED AHEAD OF HIS MID-JULY TARGET.

T J CAME TWICE TO GIVE ESTIMATES AND BOTH TIMES DID SO IN A TIMELY FASHION. THE WORK WAS COMPLETED WHEN HE SAID IT WOULD BE AND THE FINISHED JOB IS BEAUTIFUL. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM WITHOUT RESERVATION.

THEN HE SAID DUE TO THE RAINY WEATHER HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME. I NEVER HEARD FROM HIM. IN SPEAKING WITH HIM HE SEEMED AS IF HE WAS NOT INTERESTED IN THE JOB AND WAS EXPLAINING DIFFERENT OPTIONS AND THAT THE JOB COULD GET COSTLY, DEPENDING ON THE PROBLEM.

I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES TO FOLLOW UP. ONCE THEY OFFERED TO COME ON 24 HOURS NOTICE, I SAID THAT THE TIME WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND SUGGESTED SEVERAL ALTERNATIVE TIMES. THEY INDICATED THEY COULD ONLY COME WHEN I WAS NOT HOME EVEN THOUGH I INDICATED THAT I COULD BE THERE DURING A NORMAL WORK DAY. IF THEY HAD SIMPLY TOLD ME UP FRONT I WOULD HAVE SELECTED SOMEONE ELSE. THEY ARE EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL IN THEIR MANAGEMENT. LOUSY. BAD MANAGEMENT
