The same day I called TJ for an estimate he came out to discuss the project. I had a good picture in my mind of what I wanted; however, his idea to add a soldier's course to the paving project was a great idea and added to the ambience of the property. The job involved building a large paver patio and walk-way. He committed to a time and he and his crew arrived as scheduled. I had three downspouts that were on top of the ground. Very unsightly! TJ suggested taking them under the walkway, which both hid them, and took them off the ground's surface. The project was done in three days. Clean-up was well done. Grass seed was put down on bare spots. The grass did not come in well, so TJ had it reseeded and it came up beautifully. After winter some of the grooves between the pavers needed additional sand. Again, TJ came out and took care of the issue in a very timely manner. I am very happy with the end product and especially impressed with TJ and his integrity. We went to their showroom to get some ideas. It was the end of the season and they had some wonderful fieldstone that we decided to use. He said if we took it, he would give us a deal. It was too good of a deal not to take so we had the stone delivered and kept it until the spring when we did our patio. He was really informative and walked us through all the different choices we had, including brick pavers, interlock pavers and different stones. We hadn't planned to purchase at that time but it was a really good deal. They delivered the stone and put it in the right place. I had a whole pallet left over after we did the design, which was fine with us. You can never have enough dirt or stone. We were happy with the stone and their service. It was an easy transaction. We had been thinking about doing it for a couple of years and had gone there before and they had given us an insane price. They gave me the name of the guy that does their installs, which was great. They went the extra mile and he was really awesome. The price and service were great. We would recommend them and we got what we needed. They are a local company, which is important to us.

They are worth the price. They take suggestions and work with what you want. They are also willing to change the project if you don't want something. They are courteous, on time and completed the work when stated.

I simply decided not to have the project done that year.

The process was great. TJ started the job earlier than originally planned. He walked us through the entire process and every morning he came to the job and answered any questions or concerns we had. He and his crew were very professional and knowledgeable. TJ was on the job everyday with his crew, so he was very accessible. The job was never rushed. They were very thorough. They spent days bringing in dirt and gravel then spreading it, leveling it, smoothing it, and measured and checked levels constantly so that everything was at the correct pitch and would drain properly. I never have any standing water anywhere on my walkways or patio. Its really amazing, it alls drains to certain areas according to the pitch. We absolutely love what they created for us and so does everyone that sees it. We use the firepit to roast hot dogs and marshmallows. The kids love it. We are going to get a lot of use out of it this fall. We sit out and night with a fire and look at the stars, and the patio is huge so there's room to put a pop tent there. Its like going on vacation in your backyard.

They were very punctual, the work was done in 2 phases, and I was very pleased with them. The price was what they quoted me and it was reasonable.

T.J. came out to look at the project soon after we called. He was able to work within our short time window. We did have to call them back because we did not think the repairs to the patio were as complete as we had talked about when the quote was written up, but they did come back promptly to finish the repairs. We are satisfied and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new patio or walkway.

It went very well. The people doing the work were polite and they cleaned up after themselves well. My only comment is that neither TJ nor myself had noted the rain gutter which drained under the deck. If we had, I would have had them install a drain tile and drain the gutter into it. They did the best they could channeling the water through a PVC-type pipe, considering that neither of us had noted the issue early enough in the "game" to do something about it.

They were fantastic. They had five or six people working. They were on time, every time. They cleaned up after themselves. They were friendly. They never took a break, except for lunch and to go home.

TJ and his crew did a great job in making our great yard even better with this patio. TJ is a personable guy who knows his business. One of the best things about this company is that TJ is almost slways on the job making sure it is done right. He has good ideas and good taste, and was easy to deal with.

We contacted the company and he was very prompt and helpful. He explained all the procedures to build a new patio, brought some samples and designed the patio in our lawn. Two days later email us the estimate price. We agreed and schedule a day to start. Within two days the old concrete was removed and a new beautiful patio was done. The contractor was present the hole time during the construction. We are very pleased with the experience. Very professional.

They returned a call promptly;came out quickly for an estimate, and scheduled the work as quickly as possible to get it complete before the weather came. When two men came out to do the work, they were very courteous and extremely skilled. TJ had a plan not only to fix the damage from the storm but to repair the patio in such a way that it would be sturdier in the future. It was a hard fix because we couldn't find any more tiles like the ones used to build this patio - which are not appropriate exterior tiles in the first place, and certainly not for Cleveland, but the men worked very well with what we had. They even made a point not to block my driveway, bringing all their equipment in by wheelbarrow. Very thoughtful. The finished work is beautiful.

Overall work was great! T.J and his crew came about 8am, and was done by 10:30am. Due to our sewer problem back in the winter, a mound of hard clay dirt was left behind. He was able to take the excess dirt and smooth it out. Also my clean-out for my sewer pipe was sticking out. So they sawed it down to make it level and put it back into the ground. I'm very satisfied with the work they have done. We will definitely hire again for future work.

The stonework on the retaining wall and steps is sloppy. It seems to be there should be some overlap so the wall does not move. Also - you can see the black waterproofing on the wall behind the bed against the house. You can also see cement oozing between some of the stones along the steps.

They were very professional about the job. They were very friendly when they were there working for me. They had showed up on time to do the job for me.

Our backyard drops off sharply down to a walk out basement. This area has been a problem for years with standing water and water intrusion into the finished basement. Two other landscapers had attempted to fix the drainage, putting plantings in, etc. The expensive problem remained unresolved until I contacted T. J. Farinacci. They installed all of the proper drainage tiles and pipes, gravel, paver stones, etc. We now have a beautiful sitting area where there was standing water. It has been a year now and there has been absolutely no problem with drainage. They were on the job when they said they would be, they did not go over the estimated amount and even brought in other landscaping experts to finish the planting of the slope. We are extremely pleased. This company has experience and integrity!

There was a misunderstanding. I previously gave them a F because I didn't think they returned a phone call concerning our lawn issues. Found out that my wife received the message and never told me. Spoke with them this morning and realize that I made a mistake and apologized. Showed great professionalism and it was just a misunderstanding. But gave us a quote and will allow us time to think about it. Which we do appreciate. Sorry again for the misunderstanding on our part.

Great! We've used TJ before for a back patio. He's probably not the cheapest but is the most professional, reliable and easiest contractor we've worked with. He promptly returns calls, works hard, gets the job done in a timely fashion and does a great job. Even my very particular neighbor watched them and was impressed. For our second job in the front yard, my husband exclaimed, "I wish all contractors were as good as him." I've enjoyed giving my business to TJ.

Overall we are very pleased. The original bid was higher than we anticipated, but he worked with us to come up with a reasonable plan for our budget. He always returned phone calls promptly and came out several times to measure, plan, etc. before project. He gave us an honest time frame of when he could start and was able to fit us in before the end of the season. His workers were professional and very hard working. TJ was on the site the entire time. Clean up was thorough. We recommended him to a neighbor who also seemed pleased with his work.

It wook a few days to coordinate a home visit but once that was done the contractor was efficient about drawing up a contract and showing us options and making suggestions to hold cost down. Showed up on appointed day to do the job and finished a bit early. Cleaned up after themselves. Courteous and competent.

TJ and his crew worked tirelessly including on a Sunday to complete the job ahead of schedule. He arrived early and worked with barely a break each day. He was very organized, he had great suggestions, paid attention to detail, asked my opinion as he went along, and the result is a beautiful curved walkway from the driveway to the brick patio that includes a sandstone feature and wall. TJ also fixed a problem I had with an existing fence and did a few other small requests that were not part of the original project. I have actually asked his opinion on some other work that I am currently having done. I will definitely hire TJ again and will highly recommend him to others.

TJ and his crew arrived at 7:20 a.m. and by 8:30 had the drainage trench dug, all by hand. (He felt it was too small a job to bring in a trenching machine, and his crew did as good a job). In overcast conditions with the temperature steadily dropping, the crew installed over 60 feet of drain pipe, spread a ton or more of soil, seeded and strawed the yard. They only stopped when I insisted they have hot coffee to offset the chill. By 12:30 p.m. the job was complete, they'd swept and hosed down the work area. They even filled the section of driveway that had been cut to tie the drain line to the sewer.

They seemed nice enough but not very open to providing options to consider. I'm not sure if we'd choose them, but no decision has been made as of yet.

Of all the contractors we used on the renovation of this house, TJ and his crew are at the top of our list. He was very low key in his initial consultation, provided several options based on the landscape plans we already had, and then did a beautiful job on the installation. They were very nice to my children, my dog and to me, and they cleaned up every day. He made good use of our existing materials on site, incorporating the old stone where possible, instead of trying to get us to buy all new materials. It was not a cheap project, but it beautifully compliments this old house, and is something we already enjoy daily. I've hired a lot of subs in my day, and TJ is among the very best.
