The entire project took three days. Workers were on time each day, worked hard, and were respectful to my elderly parents, who were at my house during the three days of construction. They cleaned up after the patio was completed, and reseeded the turf that had disturbed by the construction.

$8200.00 deposit paid Project start date 5/28/13. I took the requisite time off from work (unpaid) so that I would be home during entire project. I arranged for existing pavers and trees & shrubbery to be removed. I asked for a "to scale" drawing of 3 steps of this $23000.00 project and his reply was that he was canceling contract citing my lack of trust in his design ability, and the fact that I had 2 other previous visions of step design, therefore, he stated that I had not made a final decision. We had only two 45 minute previous meetings to discuss the entire proect, and I had not received a professional drawing of final agreed upon design. He said he would do on site. I did receive 2 previous drawing that appeared to me to be more of a sketch than a professional design or drawing, and did not include 2 large walkways. TJ stated he would refund $7950.00 of my $8200.00 deposit He also stated that $250.00 license fee to the City for his permit to work would be non-refundable, even though he is the party that canceled. 10 days later I called his office because I had not received a refund check and was told it was in the mail that day. I did receive it, minus the $250.00 This entire fiasco has cost me $6250.00, and I still have no patio for the summer This entire fiasco has cost me $6250.00 with all above costs, and I have no patio for this summer.

Everything went fine and I had no problems.

T.J.'s suggestions for design and brick paving stone selection were perfect.. We are very pleased with the appearance and the quality of the work that was done. The crew arrived on time every day and cleaned up before leaving. They were very polite and considerate. They also restored the lawn that was affected by the construction. I would highly recommend them to others.

From start to finish, all went even better than we could have expected. Plans were drawn up and changes were made, things added, suggestions made by T. J. Farinacci. When the plans were complete ( a couple of days), T.J. brought over samples of stone for us to choose. The work was started. Quite a large crew. Friendly guys that seemed to enjoy hard work. They wanted everything to be just right, no minor flaws. They worked all day, every day, until it was all completed. They all worked together so well. The best part was that the owner, T.J. Farinacci was here at the project himself every day, working right along with all the other guys. He is definitely a perfectionist! One incident: As the guys were building the bar with the stones, T.J. didn't exactly like the way it looked, so he had them take it all down and they all re-built it until it looked perfect to T.J. DO: Use T.J. Farinacci if you want a quality job! Something to be happy with and proud of. NOTE: The price was a little higher than our other quotes, but when we saw T.J's quality of work at the Home & Garden show, we wanted that quality in our yard. We made the right decision. The others can't compare to this. It is quality, solid, beautiful, and we have nothing but good thoughts about T. J.. Farinacci & his company.

Excellent job overall. Our project had gotten out of order, and we needed the walls and walkways done as soon as possible. TJ fit our project in around others to accommodate our schedule, and turned what was in danger of becoming a disaster into a beautiful finished project. For any future landscape projects, we will call TJ first - we know the project would have been smooth from start to finish if we had done that. He was very responsive to our calls and all questions, took his time reviewing and explaining everything to us, and tried his best to fit the work into his schedule and ours. Definitely a first-class operation!

TJ was one of 4 service providers to quote us on this job. His price was great but his workmanship and professionalism is what sold us. He provided us with sample pavers to compare and when we made our choice he was able to start the job about 3 weeks later. The first impressive quality about TJ is that when he starts your job he will work until completion. He and his crew arrived the day he promised and went over the expectations again with me and then went right to work. The second impressive quality is that TJ's crew is truly, 'on the job', when they are working. They spent the entire day working like a machine. The team of professionals performed as a team should... working well together, nonstop, with quality and care. The third impressive quality is that TJ stands behind his work. When they were done we went over the new porch carefully and TJ and I both felt that there was a slight problem with the front step being a bit short. Without any issue,TJ said that they would be out again tomorrow and replace the step. As promised, one of the team members arrived early and removed and replaced the step which is now perfect. The work performed is excellent and guaranteed against any problems. TJ and his crew are a pleasure to work with and provide a level of excellence and professionalism that sets the bar very high for all other service professionals. I have recommended TJ to friends and neighbors who have used his services with great satisfaction.

The professionalism of the whole process was exceoptional from beginning to end! The owner, TJ came out for an initial consultation in the spring, a landscape artitect from his company drew up a blue print with our needs in mind, and then a contract was written by TJ that itemized all of the work that was to be done. The work was scheduled and done accordingly. Once the work began, I wanted a couple of small adjustments to the plantings and there was no problem at all. The workers were punctual and left things in order as much as possible at the end of the day---it was a 6 day job. It appeared that the workers were well informed of what needed to be done each day and went about their work efficiently. The crew chief kept me informed everyday and was congenial to talk with. It ws obvious that he and TJ were in good communication. TJ himself was here numerous times and for a final inspection. I know all of this almost sounds too good to be true, but we are very pleased the we worked with TJ and his company. Granted we spent a lot of money, but we feel we got value received

It went very well. They arrived on time, if not a few minutes earlier (8 am), and completed the entire job by 3 pm. The site was left completely clean, no debris. The pavers were laid in the herringbone layout described at our initial estimate meeting. We have received numerous compliments already on how much better it looks. We went from 20+-year-old laid bricks that had become uneven/some broken to an earth-toned paver patio minus the gaps between stones. :o)

We first met with TJ in the Spring of 2011 to discuss a new patio and what he could do to address excessive moisture in our backyard. He showed up on time! He was a pleasure to talk with. He was very professional and we could tell right away that he knew what he was talking about. Within a few days, he mailed us an estimate/contract. We scheduled to have the work done by him in 6 to 8 weeks. The job ended up being delayed due to constant rain. However, a new start date was scheduled for a couple weeks out. TJ and his crew showed up exactly when he said they would. The work was completed on time. The finished product looks great. He returned all of our phone calls in a timely manner and addressed all of our questions. Like a lot of people, we have had unpleasant experiences with contractors. So, we were pleasantly surprised with our experience with TJ. We highly recommend him. The only reason we rated Price as a B is because his estimate was not the lowest.

T.J. Farinacci is in business ... extremely professional and customer service oriented. T.J. returned our call prompty, was punctual for appointments and listened to what we thought we wanted. He spray painted the shape of the walkway on our grass, offered good suggetions and explanations to our questions, then provided a clear and detailed quote of the project. Three days later, the project began. Each day, the crew arrived on time, were very courteous, conscientious, and extremely orderly in their work. T. J. personally worked with and checked on the work of his crew. He wants the job done right ... and, it was. We are happy with our pavers, stone stairway and yard work. Working with this company is a stress-free, refreshing way to do business ... truly a pleasure! We give them our highest recommendation.

He seemed to be very honest and fair. However he didn’t bother to give me a written estimate.

TJ was early for our appointment and he listened to what we wanted rather than try to sell us on something we didn't need. He was practical, made recommendations to minimize cost and inspected our yard and provided the quote in an efficient, understandable manner. He called us to let us know when they would be coming, and they arrived early. Weather caused a day delay, but he called to let me know they would not be done in a day as expected as a result. They returned the next day and finished the job. The wall looks great. They had to do some minimal extra digging and drainage work and didn't charge us for it! Professional, quality work with a customer-service oriented attitude. Although we can't be sure the wall accomplished its intended purpose (keep groundwater out of our pool) until a heavy rain or snow melt, we could not have asked for a better experience.

I received a number of estimates but another contractor recommended that I contact TJ to get an estimate because of the work he did at their house. I received about 5 different estimates including TJ's which were all around the same price. TJ spent more time going over the possibilities for the front of the house than all of the others combined. His estimate was very detailed and spelled out in a typed contract what to expect. TJ was patient with us and came out a second time to review the area. We even stopped in at his office to see stone samples which he took the time to help us. He was able to give us good advice on what would work better in the smaller space with the rounded steps we were looking for to complement our new siding. My wife and I were totally impressed with the professionalism that TJ and his entire crew displayed during the couple of days it took to complete the job. TJ wanted to get our work done before taking on a larger 3 week job and finished ours way before we expected it to be done. We have had at least 10 people walk down our street and stop to say what a great job was done on the steps and pavers! I've passed along TJ's card to others who have asked for it. We sometimes just stare at the front of the house and cannot believe the difference TJ's work has made from the old wooden deck we had to the new stone work. We highly recommend TJ Farinacci's ideas and follow-through on everything he said he would do.

I called him about a month ago for some problem that I had with the hardscape that he had put in. He called back last week and said that he was sending out someone that day to make the repairs. The person came exactly when he said he was coming. I was able to go over the issue which wasn’t an issue with their installation. With hardscape, winter can cause separation between some of the bricks. It happened unfortunately that mine was pretty significant. He sent his gentleman out and he was here for probably half a day. Then he fixed everything beautifully. It couldn’t have been better. He probably could have done it without tearing out a bunch of supports that were holding the bricks in. He probably could have patched those, but he tore out all the old and put in all the new. I really appreciated him. I don’t think it went over two years. It was in the third season and he came back to make it right. I think I spent about $12000 or $13000. I would definitely use his services in the future too.

His cleaning of our patio went very well. We are very pleased with TJ and his work. This was the second time we have used him, as he did the original installation of the patio some years back. TJ takes a personal interest in the job.

I spent about $15000 on the job. I used them because they seemed fair. I was familiar with the owner. I would recommend them because they do a good job and they clean up after themselves. I will use them again in the future.

I didn't use them because we decided not to spend the money right now. Their price was competitive and my experience was positive with them.

may be using him for a drive way boarder of paving stones next year. If we decide to do it.

T.J. Farinacci came out to spray paint the shape of the parking area on our grass and give the estimate. Then his workers completed the project the following week. They dug out the grass, leveled the area, put a stone base in, and then pavers with sand in between.

He did take care of the problem. He had to come back a few times since the initial job didn?t solve the problem. He had to install a few additional pipes but since then I haven?t had any other problems.

Overall, I was pleased with the work that was done. The walls were well constructed and the paver walkway turned out very attractive. I also greatly appreciated the repair work on the porch pillar, which we didn't realize was as bad as it was until work had already started. The price was somewhat expensive, but still fair and I did feel I got what I paid for. The job took three days and the crew was polite. Had a few miscommunications regarding when the job was going to begin, but that was a minor inconvenience. Would advise that if some of the employees don't feel comfortable providing info to customers, they should just let the call go to voicemail. I've purchased stones, dirt and mulch from TJ in the past and would feel comfortable using them again for any landscaping jobs.

Everything went well. They do excellent work and can handle drainage problems that no one else can.

TJ is a professional - from start to finish. He is a perfectionist and personally checks the work of his men, measures and re-measures, and re-measures to ensure only the perfect slope, symmetry, etc. We couldn't be happier with his work. The patio is gorgeous. He was on time. His crew was polite and professional, and cleaned up the mess after. He also re-did the sidewalk and put in a 10' wide planter in the front of the house for me. We since moved to a new house and will be having TJ put in a new patio for us soon.
