They came on time, worked quickly and I was satisfied with the work. They cleaned up and checked to make sure that everything is to my satisfaction. I was very pleased with the result. It was a reasonable price.

It went so well. Tim and his team arrived on time and worked late almost every day to get the job done quickly. Very professional! The entire floor was covered for protection. This team is like a well-oiled machine. They did everything I asked. Paint looks fabulous, color suggestions turned out great. Our apartment looks so beautiful and everything was left spotlessly clean.

The guy that runs the company is very honest and personable. He is realistic about when he can get the work done and what his price is going to be. He does not go over his estimate. He pretty much sticks to whatever estimate he gives. Some of the other painting companies use college students, but he does not really do that, so the consistency of his work is pretty similar throughout the year versus some of the other painting companies that I’ve used.

They were great guys. The crew arrived at the specified time each of the 4 days. There were 4-5 men each day and they worked steadily. They took a 1/2 hour break for lunch (or less). They cleaned up each day- vacuuming the carpeting and putting tools out of our way. I cannot say enough about the work done and the great guys who did the work. Tim Sweeney is a joy to work with and very professional. He was on the job with the men each day. The rooms look great!!!

He has always been honest, straightforward and fair and takes pride in his work. His relationship with his crew is very positive and they were all a pleasure to work with.

It went fine. The work was scheduled to meet our needs, as we were preparing the house to put it on the market.

Preparation was pretty good. I inspected garage after they scraped before painting topcoat and they scraped again where old paint could be flicked off easily. They left the site very paint-chip-free. One year later, no peeling has occurred.

I am extraordinarily pleased with the whole process. I wish all home repair could be this professional.Tim Sweeney responded very quickly to a phone message. After coming over to inspect the house, he submitted a detailed estimate: the prep work that would be done, the premium paint to be used, and the attention to thoroughness and respect for my property.Because my house was a relatively small job, I told Tim that I wanted it to be completed by the end of summer whenever he could fit me in. Not a week later, he called offering to come within two days because he had time in his schedule.It was 90 degrees and I wasn't sure how long the crew would be able to work in such harsh conditions. When they first came, each man introduced himself and shook my hand. A nice way to begin. In two days, all the work was completed. The crew was meticulous about preparation and the clean-up afterward. They even finished a small area I was working on but had not included when I originally spoke to Tim.Even though there was extra paint left over that Tim gave to me, I was not charged. The original estimate was the final bill ( a good deal lower than other estimates I had received).

They were WONDERFUL!!! People stop and look at the house and comment on the colors, the job, the little touches that Tim Sweeny suggested (such as highlighting with a stripe here or an accent color there) and the appearance of the house. Tim and his crew are exceptional; they were on time, talked over concerns, left the yard clean, etc... The house is beautiful...the work was excellent; Tim even stopped by when he noticed something not quite right recently and wanted to make sure that all was well. I would use them again in a heartbeat...will call when I need interior work done. AAAAA++++!

Tim and his crew were friendly, prompt, careful, and professional. They did a good job on painting the house. The job comes with a 3-year warranty, and some peeled paint was repaired the next season at no cost. They didn't leave a mess when the job was done. The deck staining job was just fair.

ABSOLUTLEY WONDERFUL!! My home is the best looking home on the block. Tim suggested that we highlight some of the trim in an alternate color to highlight the front porch; it looked perfect! Looked like it came right out of an ad! He and his crew were there on time; cleaned up every day; finished in a timely way; were immaculate in detailing and completing the job in a quality way (see above comment about front porch!). I cannot say enough positive about him; have given his name to others; absolutley will have him do work for me again! He was also very easy to work with; discussed all options, made recommendations when appropriate and asked, guided me through the process, explained everything. Good guy!

Tim responded to my voicemail within 2 days and made arrangements to come and review that damage and get me an estimate. Once we met, he gave me a realistic idea of how long he would be tied up with current projects - he was running about 4 weeks out at that point - which seemed reasonable around the holidays. When I called two weeks later, he let me know he was available sooner and could begin work. We discussed the timeline and I knew how long the project would take and when they would be arriving each day. I appreciated his communication skills. He did call and asked if we could push the start day up one day since one of his jobs was contingent on weather and we had a warm spell... since I was in no rush, I agreed and he showed up the following day as promised and began work. My project was completed exactly as described in his estimate. He showed on time and along with Joe, one of his employees, he went over the project and they got to work. They both quickly prepped, taped and got all four areas underway. I liked that he had his own crew and that they cleaned up after themselves and were very personable and polite. Each day they came in - let me know how long they would be and cleaned and let me know when they would return. I know they had other crew on other jobs and kept things moving along. The work completed was impeccable - You can not tell where the old and new plaster and paint are. The estimate was right on and his rates were competitive and reasonable. Tim and Joe worked efficiently, and cleaned up after themselves. The sanding equipment they used left only a trace amount of dust -- which they vaccummed and mopped up (I thought I would be cleaning for months after this process!!) And they left my rooms just as they found them. They also let me know if I found anything that needed to be adjusted to just give them a call. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

After a hard winter and water stains from melting ice under our roof shingles, we brought in Tim Sweeney to save the day. In addition to some immediate damage to the wall from the winter thaw, the living had not been painted for over 10 years. I was about to throw out our white window shutters; however, I thought I'd try to save them and my pocket book by having Tim paint them. The living room and all its imperfections have been corrected and I love my shutters again. The shutters look brand new. Just like my kitchen, I love my living room. As before, the team worked fast and clean. I am so very happy with the outcome. The price might seem high; however, there was a lot of wall repair work/labor involved. Price includes labor and paint. I use Benjamin Moore.

My house is the typical 1920's home in Cleveland Heights with all the improvement/maintenance problems attached to an old house. The kitchen had been completely remodeled, taking down walls and old existing woodwork and door frames The bulk of the work was properly prepping the walls and newly installed bare wood door jams and woodwork for paint. We received three estimates and Sweeney was very competitive. Tim Sweeney, unlike the other two vendors, did not seem intimidated by the job and therefore, did not over-quote the job for prep work. The end result is perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better job. Tim and crew worked very quickly and cleaned-up after each day of work. I believe the crew was here for 4 days. I love my kitchen.

We chose Sweeney Painting because Tim Sweeney seemed like a man who cared, and it turned out that he did care! Tim was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. He and his crew did an expert job with excellent attention to detail. No short cuts were taken. They were immaculate in their daily cleanup. Our house has never looked better!

Had the estimate done in Sept. of 2006. I had seen Mr. Sweeney's work throughout the town and was impressed. I also wanted to have the job done right with the right prep work done. The estimate sheet broke everything down and Mr. Sweeney jotted notes very specific to what we had discussed. I was not sure of the color and Mr. Sweeney provided me with a couple of color charts and some suggestions of where to go for ideas. Not until May of 2007 did I call back and confirm the job. Mr. Sweeney was honest and stated that he probably would not be able to paint my house until maybe August as he began booking as early as December of last year. The wait was well worth it. The quality of work Mr. Sweeney and his crew does is excellent. Mr. Sweeney discussed color choices and even placed samples on the house to visualize how the colors would look. That was so helpful. The whole crew was thoughtful, cleaned up carefully after each day and were actually a pleasure to be around. Highly recommend.

Very well. Company arrived on schedule and the crew worked hard. Contractor shows a great deal of pride in his work which shows in the results. During the work, the crew cleaned up their areas at the end of each day. Any small concerns, like a few windows painted shut, were addressed immediately. With just finishing work to be done, neighbors have let owners know how great the place looks.

He was courteous, etc., but all I can say is it was obvious that he wasn't interested in doing the job because he said he was booked up through the summer. I believe it was because my job was a small job. He apologized, etc., but I don't feel he wanted the job, which is why he told me he was booked.

Tim and his staff expertly power washed our 640 sq ft deck and followed it with a coat of clear coat sealant. They made a badly worn and weathered deck look like new. They moved all the furniture off of the deck and came back after the sealant had dried and replaced it. They even refinished our picnic table at no cost and it looks great. Very pleasant workers and a great job overall.

Tim and his team were great. Tim provided us with an accurate estimate, talked with us about different approaches and budget considerations, consulted with us about color choices. He worked with his crew on the job and supervised all work closely. The 6-man crew, were extremely hard-working, cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each work day (including neighbor's drive/yard when necessary). We have had many compliments on the finished product and on the thorough care they all took when preparing the house for paint. When they discovered some rotted wood around a couple windows, instead of painting over it, Tim called our attention to it, recommended an excellent carpenter who came out immediately to assess, gave us a satisfactory estimate and completed the work beautifully within a short-time frame so painting could continue.

Tim Sweeney is a customer-pleaser. He was responsive, punctual, and flexible. He offered me an alternative to deep sanding of the floors which saved me lots of money. He did a beautiful job on the floors and actually did the work by hand when the power went out while he was working. After the floors dried, he brought 3 other guys to move my furniture back!! Tim is personable and delightful to do business with.
