+ -1 moreNORMAN IS A SCULPTOR WHO WAS PERSUADED TO GO INTO GRANITE & MARBLE COUNTERTOPS. HE DOES CAREFUL & NICE WORK ON THE COUNTERTOPS. ONE COUNTERTOP WAS EXTREMELY LARGE (9.33 FT BY 2 FT) & MUST HAVE WEIGHED 300 LBS. HE & HIS HELPER MOVED THIS PIECE INTO THE KITCHEN AS ONE SOLID PIECE, WHICH WAS NICE. MOST OTHER COMPANIES WOULD HAVE CUT IT IN HALF. HOWEVER, HIS HIRED HAND (NORMAN NOT AROUND THAT DAY) REMOVED A SIDE COUNTER THAT WAS NOT SUPPOSED TO BE REMOVED. ANOTHER PROBLEM: HE DID NOT RE-HOOK PLUMBING & GAS OVEN LINES BACK CORRECTLY, SO WE HAD TO GET A PLUMBER TO DO IT CORRECTLY. I DID NOT TRUST HIM TO COME BACK TO DO THE GAS HOOK-UP CORRECTLY. ALSO A SMOKER.
Description of Work: REPLACED WOODEN COUNTER TOPS IN KITCHEN WITH GRANITE- ABOUT 44 SQ FT OF COUNTERTOP SPACE, PLUS 5 INCH BACKSPLASHES. TOOK ABOUT ONE WEEK.
