My neighbors have been using him for years and swear by him. He also did not get back to me right away with an estimate. I call I got five different estimates and they all had different things to say. He was the first person to come out because they were working on the house behind me. They were right on target with what needed to be done. He was right on target with what needed to be done. I have an addition with a shed roof that meets with a gabled roof. He noticed that there was not much circulation of air between the ceiling and roof in this particular area and this was a portion of the problem. He was able to correct this problem by notching the 2 X 4s to improve the air circulation. He installed two commercial grade air vents and a commercial sized gutter and downspouts. He also found that when the addition was built the carpentry was not done as well as it should have been and this could have been the cause of the leak because one board did not match up right. The board on the shed roof did not match up well with the board on the gabled roof. They corrected that. We have had problems with this roof, but in the last year we have had significant problems. I am hoping it will be better now we caught this. I wanted them to also look for carpenter ants that seemed to be collecting there. He was the only one to suggest heating cables and improving air circulation. He was very pleasant to work with. He took a very common sense approach to the work which I appreciate. He examined everything very thoroughly and noticed other things that could be improved. The first roofer fell through due to illness in the family. Although late in the season when I explained the situation to Dave and asked if he could squeeze it in he was very understanding and kind and he said ?sure?. He was able to squeeze it in and got the work done before the bad weather of autumn began. They did an excellent job. They came in and took care of it and were done. It was very impressive. The only suggestion I can make to Dave is to have the proposal typed out instead of hand written to make it easier to read.

Provided a free estimate and completed all the work in one day. They did everything that was asked of them, and we've had no problems since then. Price was reasonable. My only complaint is that sometimes it was hard to get a hold of him on the phone and to schedule things.
