Milt was so knowledgable and professional, he made the repair process easy. He cleaned/repaired the parts that could be fixed and replaced the motor and other parts that needed it. In addition to the repair, he showed us how to use the machine properly and set us up with some bobbins and needles to get us started. Also showed us how to change the belt in the future. Could not be happier with the sevice provided by Milt and Seaway Sewing.

He came out to my house quickly and lubricated the machine, checked the needle, and showed me how to clean the inside as well as how to open it up, clean it and oil it myself, saving me from having to call back in the future. I have never had such detailed work done on my sewing machines in years! Milton knows exactly what he is doing, takes pride in his work, and puts his all into making sure the machines are like new. My Singer 401A was repaired by another sewing center and Milton told me it was not fixed it correctly. Milton cleaned the inside of the machine (shaft, bobbin box, all the metal parts) making it look brand new. He treats you as a special person and teaches some things on the machines. He's a GEM!! I highly recommend him. I am definitely going back to him if I ever need work on my machines. I am soooo happy to have finally found someone who genuinely cares about the machines instead of trying to sell you a new one!!

Milton was very responsive to our call for a free estimate; even though this is a busy time of year for him, he was able to stop in within a few days after our call. We liked that he had over 39 years experience in sewing machine repair, particularly Singer, and that he was willing to share his knowledge so that we can keep our machine running smoothly. He gave us a general time when he would come for the estimate and for when he brought the machine back (for example, Thursday after 1PM). We live in Fairview Park and Milton travelled from South Euclid. We appreciated not having to transport the sewing machine to a repair site ourselves. Upon leaving, Milton invited us to call with any further questions we might have.

The machine works like a brand new machine. It is as clean as a whistle. Milt took the time to give me good pointers on the workings of the machine and for continued good use.

Mr. Weinstein is a very personable, knowledgeable gentleman who loves what he does and portrays that to his customers. He knew all about my 60s White machine, and actually found parts that are no longer available for it in his shop. He picked up my machine from the house, and dropped it off when he was finished working on it. He stayed a while to make sure everything worked as it should, and that I was doing basic things correctly, like threading the machine, and having the needle installed correctly. He showed me aspects of the mechanics of my machine about which I was unaware, and showed me some stitching and decorative sewing that I didn't know my machine could do! I also learned where to oil the machine and how often. All in all, this repair was a very pleasant experience, and well worth the money. I am so happy to have my machine in tip-top shape again!

But he did much more than a tune up. He was here for a good hour (house call) and and quot;educatedand quot; me on the settings and even showed me some and quot;tricks of the tradeand quot;. He was delightful, informative, polite, neat, punctual...just an very pleasant service and quot;gentlemanand quot;. My son has an old metal White sewing machine (similar to mine) and in the very near future, I will take it to Seway. He is a and quot;gemand quot;.

Called several places, but Milt was the one to follow through the very next day. My White Machine was dropped, I was sure it couldn't be repaired, but Milt said if the motor was not damaged he would have it running like new, and he did. The other machine needed to be cleaned and oiled properly, he even gave be a quick lesson on how to use it . It took him one week to have them running like new. Milt is a kind adorable retired sewing machine repair person, he opened a shop in Cleveland for many many years. I loved talking with him, you will too. Elaine

Seaway's price was much lower than Pins and Needles, and Milt was much more knowledgable and available for personalized help. He offered to pick up the machine, but drop off was easier for me. He confirmed that the machine was high quality and worth repairing. The repair was done within a few days. He gave me advice to keep the machine operating well. He is a Cleveland treasure.

Milt was wonderful. He came to my home, picked up my machine, fixed it and returned it. He really knows sewing machines and did a great job of fixing mine. I trust him so much that I bought an older model machine for my daughter that he had refurbished. He convinced me that the old ones are better than the new ones if one doesn't need the fancy stitches and embroidery. Milt is very personable - great guy.

Milt is a fantastic old-school gentleman who believes in quality service. Milt picked up the sewing machine from my home in Lakewood, took it to his shop to work on it, and then returned it to my home in Lakewood without any charge for pickup and delivery! He expertly repaired my beloved 30-year-old Pfaff 1229 and has put it in excellent working order. I feel that he put so much work into it and barely charged me: He completed an overhaul service on the machine as well as replaced the feed shaft cam assembly, which involved having a part machined. I highly recommend him and will use him for all my future sewing machine repairs.

I strongly recommend Mr. Weinstein to any of my fellow sewers, especially those with older machines that they value and want to keep in top condition. AND he makes house calls!
