Richard is very prompt and courteous. i couldn't believe how quickly they came after the estimate and then they did the whole job in just a few hours. They did a great job.

A friend of the family suggested this company only because he knew they had the equipment to take down my fairly large tree, they were local and would likely come out quick. When I called, I didn't even get a greeting like "Richard's Landscaping" to identify who was on the other end. I had to ask if I had the right number. The person who came to gave me an estimate, I'm assuming the owner, was very lax about everything and was here for less than 10 minutes. No paper work, no estimate, nothing in writing. The positive to this part is they would be out in less than 24 hours. We agreed on removal, stump grinding and leveling. Upon arriving the next day the same gentleman asked if I was paying in cash. Grant it, I'm assuming he was joking but he didn't seem all that pleased when I said no and commented that I had time to go get it. The work started. The crew was gruff, but did a very good job. They were quick, cleaned up along the way, and did things safely, from my point of view. One complaint, was the owner was driving the Bobcat, and tore my lawn up. He had told me it was only going to leave some tracks, but he was continually spearing the ground with the teeth of the grabber and pulling hunks up. Upon leaving, he asked for the check even though the stump had not been ground down. I told him no not until work was completed. He kept stating it was when it wasn't. He also stated that he didn't need the money so fine, he'd wait. Oddly even though he said the guy coming to grind the stump would be out the next day, he was there within a few hours. That's fine. The kid did a pretty good job, was polite and asked about using my neighbor's driveway. He did have to come back to clean up as his equipment wouldn't start, which he did in about a half hour after he initially left. The area was not leveled off though. I didn't push the matter after my interaction about the check.

Good experience. I asked him what his truck full would be in relationship to the usual cord that is quoted by other companies and he said fairly close - This is my first time buying this much wood but I would say the price was pretty good and likely very close to a cord - his price was $80 less than those quoted on the phone....

I explained what I needed to have hauled away to Richard over the phone. He said that it would cost $125 and we agreed that he would come on Saturday morning. When he hadn't shown or called by Saturday afternoon I called him and told me that he was very busy and that he would be by that afternoon and if he could not make it then he would definitely be by on Sunday to do the work. I asked that if he could not make it then could he please call so that I would not waste any more time waiting for him. He did not show or call Saturday or Sunday. It is not my practice to chase people down to do work for me. I will find another hauler

We were desperate to find someone to haul away the garage trash the same day we called and Richard's was able to do so and arrived on time. All three men were very courteous and quickly cleaned out the garage and removed several bags of trash and furniture from the house. We have since called them a second time and once again they arrived on time, did the job in a quick, professional and courteous manner.

We needed emergency tree service after a storm. Richard's was able to do the work immediately, which was a plus. The job cost exactly what the estimate was, which also was a plus. The work they did was fair, although they cut a lot of corners (didn't finish some branches, left piles of wood all over our property and neighbor's property). They also destroyed a number of flowers and landscaping without asking what they should try to avoid. (I realize some damage is unavoidable, but they made no effort to avoid problems). After they "finished" the job, I had to go outside and re-stack firewood, replant flowers, and try to smooth grass that had been turfed by their equipment.

I was very happy with Richard's. The men were courteous, diligent, & efficient. Even after they hauled away the truckload of attic debris, they looked out for me. That afternoon I received a phone call saying they had found an item which they thought I might not have wanted to throw away. They were right & returned it.

RICHARD WAS ABLE TO GET HIS GUYS OUT TO MY HOUSE WITHIN A DAY & THEY CUT DOWN SOME BIG BRANCHES WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. GREAT STAFF, GREAT CLEAN UP, & EXCELLENT SERVICE.

NEVER MADE CONTACT WITH US OVER THE PHONE. SUPPOSED TO BE HERE ON SUNDAY, BUT DAUGHTER SAID HE WAS STILL SLEEPING. HE MADE IT OUT TO DO THE WORK. HE HAD TROUBLE MANUEVERING TRUCK DOWN DRIVEWAY. COMPLETELY ABUSIVE TO EMPLOYEES. EXCESSIVE USE OF VULGARITY! I HAVE YOUNG CHILDREN IN MY HOME AND DISTRESSED BY THEIR BEHAVIOR. GENERALLY, THE WHOLE BIT WAS UNPROFESSIONAL. THE OTHER BIGGEST ISSUE I HAD IS WHEN HE GAVE US A QUOTE FOR PRICE, WHICH WAS COMPETITIVE, HE WANTED TO CHARGE US $100 FOR PERMIT. WE DID OUR HOMEWORK FOR PERMIT AND WE KNEW CITY OF LAKEWOOD WOULD CHARGE $5. THE CITY SAID THE PRICE WAS RIDICULOUS. WE KNEW COMPANY HAD TO PULL PERMIT, BUT $95 WAS TOO HIGH. LAKEWOOD TOLD US $5 AND HE DID DROP IT TO $50 AND WE WENT AHEAD AND DID WORK. THE LAST ISSUE I HAVE IS THAT HE COULDNT PRODUCE PERMIT. HE SAID HE HAD IT AND HADNT BROUGHT IT WITH HIM. TRUTHFULLY, WE SHOULDNT HAVE HAD HIM DO WORK, BUT I WAS AFRAID OF HIM. WE TOLD HIM TO MAIL IT TO US WITH RECEIPT. WE HAVENT RECEIVED IT.

THEY WERE VERY REASONABLE & EASY TO USE. I WILL USE THEM AGAIN!
