From the very beginning every meeting was on time and employees were very friendly.After initially purchasing windows,I was informed I would be called when windows were done.I received call about three week later that they were done.I was told they would be installed on the third of April (this was at my convience).Employee were here within 5 minutes when they were scheduled.they were very professional and friendly,spread tarps everywhere,and when they were done the only thing that was noticed were the new windows.all in all a great expierence.I had had three appraisals,Anderson wasn't the cheapest,but for us it was the best choice.

****Buyer Beware!**** I recently had Renewal by Anderson out to install a new window in my bathroom shower, and had an awful experience. The individual the company sends out to perform the official product measurements took incorrect measurements of the old window, and consequently ordered a window that was 30% too small for the space. When the installation team came out to install the window, they explained that they?ve had issues lately with the measurement teams making these kinds of mistakes, and although they expressed their frustration at the inconvenience, they ultimately would have to reorder the correct size window, which would subsequently take 2-weeks to receive and install. This resulted in a hole in my house being patched up and a plastic sheet placed over the hole so we could continue using the only shower in our home for the next two weeks. The installation team acknowledged the inconvenience and assured me that their manager would contact us to discuss what they could do to compensate for the mistake. Two weeks passed from the initial installation date, and I did not hear from the manager. After I called their office to explain my frustration at the lack of communication, I subsequently received a voicemail from the manager explaining that Renewal by Anderson would not accept responsibility for the miss-measurement of the window as well as the hole in my house and would not be doing anything to compensate for the issue. The manager wouldn?t even go so far as to apologize for the inconvenience or the lack of communication over a two-week period. I was utterly shocked at the complete level of indifference and poor customer service. The installation team came out a few days later to finish the installation of the correct size window. It was then explained that the manager reprimanded them for not simply installing the wrong size window, plugging the gaps with wood filler, and leaving the site with the mentality that it was somehow my fault that the window was not the correct size. Keep in mind that this would have required that I subsequently re-drywall and re-tile my bathroom to cover the wood filler that would have been exposed around the incorrect window. I would never recommend Renewal by Anderson. Ever. ****Buyer Beware****

They were fast, efficient and the installation was very good. The product worked out fine.

My home was built with Anderson windows so it seemed logical to contact Renewal by Anderson. Erin Ross is listed as the point of contact. I sent Erin an email and heard nothing back. After 10 days, I contacted Erin by email again. This time, I was put into a robo-call list and was cold called by a call center. I never heard from Erin Ross. Why have a contact person if you're just going to pass people who contact you through Angie's List to a call center? Totally unprofessional. And they lost our business. We're spending thousands with another company who took the time to respond.

I dealt with a local salesperson for Renewal by Andersen. We had Andersen windows in the house that had been installed in the 1970's which were starting to get a little bit drafty. The quality of their windows was the main reason that we went with them. Their service was very good. The installers were excellent and I was very happy with the salesperson. Andersen are top-of-the-line windows, which shows in the price.

They replaced one of the screens that didn't quite fit right on one of the windows. They were very prompt in replacing the screen. I would highly recommend.

A salesman happened to come by our house, and we scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Chris came and looked at our original solarium windows, and we were impressed with his professionalism and the quality of the product. Our sunroom is the only part of the house that did not have replacement windows, and we had been thinking about getting them replaced at some point, so we went ahead and did it. The price was not very cheap, but the windows are better quality than the other replacement windows throughout the house, so I think we got our money's worth. The whole process was very easy, and the company was very communicative about what we should expect and when. The installers, Chuck and Dave I think were their names, came even earlier than I anticipated on the day of installation, and were very nice to work with. They even left us some caulk for the window trim because replacing them makes the trim a little uneven (I had already had to caulk all the other windows in the house). Overall, we were very pleased with the experience and our new windows.

They’re expensive, but they have a good reputation. They guarantee their work, too. They knew what they were doing, got the job done quickly, and were polite. They did a good job overall!

Last year we called Renewal by Anderson for a quote for windows/entry doors for our centurian home built in 1850's. Salesman was nice enough, pleasant, young yet seemed to know his products. Gave us two quotes - One for 10+K and the other 12+K...after discounts. A few option changes generated the lessor estimate. This was for two main entry doors with storms, 6 windows on the upper floor including replacing rotting sills. At the time our home needed a major makeover. Roof, Siding, Windows. We did not know where to start as the cost was going to be a huge investment as we knew. We replaced the roof in lieu of the windows this spring and now are ready to replace doors and the upper windows. We called back to this company - asking for a more seasoned Rep and away we went. The Rep was very professional, explained at first that Renewal by A could not do the doors as the first salesman told us they could. They do not do work as such that they needed and he was unsure as to why we were told different the first time around. (We still had the paperwork from the first quote and pricing)...Then we looked at the upper windows. Went through what we wanted and downgraded to what we thought would be a lessor costing wood and added a window to be made into one of the walls. At first we were excited about finally getting this done..and then we got the quote. The initial pricing per window without discounts that we were offered one year previous was about $1200. per window. The secondary quote the first salesman gave us with a slight variation was just over $1300. per window. This is without any discounts whatsoever applied yet. The salesman yesterday when offering the quote showed us the bottom-line figure..with no individual breakdown until I asked for comparison reasons, which really irked us. In comparison 2011 (almost one year ago to the day) $1200-just over $1300. per window before discounts. 2012 rate for exact same windows...OVER $1900. PER WINDOW!!!! BEFORE DISCOUNTS! Exact same windows. We were shocked. Then we were told that pricing on windows went up because windows price increased not to long ago and also because it was not cost effective for them as a company when doing a 1-2 window install so they altered their pricing schedule. Soooooooooooooooo...we are purchasing 6-7 windows...(no doors as they cant do the work)...so why are we being charged more per window...when the 1-2 window problem is not our senario? The bottom-line was just over 10K...yet the bottom-line a year ago was just over 10K for a better grade of wood AND TWO EXTERNAL TOP NOTCH DOORS AND STORMS! So now we sit having to start all over again looking for doors and windows before snow. Biggest issue is if we can not trust the sales professionals to give us the straight goods (could you imagine if we had gotten the entry doors 1st time around that now we are told they CANT DO)....then who do we trust. Renewal by Anderson, we were told and did the research that they were a number one in their industry. After our experiences it has hard to believe that claim. Maybe the windows are great but can not see such an increase in a tight economy being feasible. Not $500 more per window - that is a for sure...and a lessor grade wood at that.

Renewal By Andersen came in and did what they said they were going to do. They measured the windows and then came back and installed them once the windows were made. I had trouble with 2 of the windows, but they came out and fixed them. One was completely replaced.

Travis arrived at the scheduled time and reviewed my options. I selected to have the same options as the existing casement windows and patio doors. Travis did recommend the wood finish on the interior window sashes to match the frames, but I chose the white finish as on the existing windows; plus I was concerned that the wood finish would be exposed to rain since these were casement windows. Big mistake. The existing Andersen windows had narrow sashes that were completely hidden by the wood frame when closed, while the new windows have wide sashes that are visible when closed and stick out like a sore thumb against the wood frame. It would have been helpful if Andersen had an app that showed how the final product would appear. But this was my fault and not the fault of Travis. I ended up paying the painters an extra $850 to paint the sashes in a faux wood finish to match the wood frames. The installation crew showed up as scheduled about a month later. Since I was having 18 windows and two patio doors replaced, Andersen sent two crews and the work was completed in one day. The crews did excellent work and I was very pleased with the extra detail they performed on the exterior trim. There however were two problems: a missing cover for the crank mechanism on one of the casement windows; and one of the patio doors had an "X" scratched the sash. I notified Andersen about the problems and they quickly fixed them, including the replacement of the patio door with a new door panel. The paint contractor (Rockport Painting) Andersen had contracted to apply stain to the wood frames arrived on the next work day. They were supposed to match the existing wood trim in my house (a dark cherry), but did not get it quite right (a light mahogany). But they did a pretty good job of matching the faux wood finish on the sashes to the stain of the frames.

The estimating by John T was with no pressure , thorough and accurate. The installations were done on time and by craftsman.When they left our place was as clean as they found it. Subsequent call for help on an unrelated problem got me a phone call that day and they scheduled a service call with another vendor (rather than me being in the middle playing phone tag) solved my problem and WOULD NOT CHARGE ME. OUTSTANDING

Salesperson came on time and wrote up the quote for four windows a front door and a patio door. Later another tech person came out and did exact measurements. On the day promised three or four installers came and and did all the work in a few hours. They put down drop cloths everywhere and left the house as clean as they found it. The windows and doors are top of the line and guaranteed for life. I know there were cheaper solutions to my needs for replacing doors and windows, but my house now has nearly all Anderson windows. I like the quality and the lifetime guarantee.

The crew was courteous and punctual. The work was performed in a professional manner and all debris was cleaned up. A problem arose the next week when one of the screens needed to be removed. The outside installer had some fugitive caulk that had entered the screen channel. This affected two sides of the screen, making it very difficult to remove.

It turned out very good. They did a great job.

They were very professional. They did very meticulous work. They wanted to make sure we were happy with what we got. The installers were great also.

My primary contact was John Titgemeier who showed me various styles of windows and offered price comparisons for each. He also used color swatches to match the outer frames to the trim color on my home. John, another rep from the company who did an on site measure, and the installers all made appointments that fit my agenda. Everyone that I worked with was very professional and curteous. The installers covered the floor from the front door to the job site to prevent soiling my floors. Upon completion, they also vacuumed the area in front of the windows The original frame was not level. The installers corrected this at my request.The installers had me tilt the windows for washing so I would know how to do this when the time comes. They did leave an instruction booklet and also pointed out that the directions are printed on the inside top of the window frames for an easy refresher. Storms held by plastic clips were on the outsides of the windows that were removed. At my request, the installers removed the plastic clips and gave them to me since the rest of the windows on this house have that same set up and sometimes the clips break and have to be replaced. I am satisfied that I no longer have to remove and replace storms to wash the outsides of the windows, or scrape and paint the outside wood frame. The room feels warmer and the new style is very welcoming.

I have a LOT of really big windows, so I got several estimates. Some were for vinyl-clad, some were for wood, but only Andersen could give me estimates for both (although their vinyl-type are actually a composite that looks way better than the vinyl.) Travis was the sales consultant who came to my house, and he was extremely personable and professional. He answered about a zillion questions, interviewed me to see what my preferences would be, and made recommendations that turned out to be absolutely perfect. Because of the size of the job and Andersen's desire to cause as little inconvenience as possible, they deployed three crews to get everything done in one day. I admit -- I was a little cynical. The house looked like a well-tarped any hill. There were installers everywhere, and yet, it was like a well-choreographed dance: no one got in each others' way; they got the windows installed quickly, efficiently and professionally; they were pleasant to be around; and they left the house cleaner than it was when they got there (they vacuumed, they swept, they cleaned up the inside, outside, the yard and they even dusted!) And when they left, I had beautiful windows that lived up to EVERYTHING Travis had promised... and more. I was amazed and delighted! They cost a little more than the other companies, but their professionalism and the wonderful windows they installed were so worth it. I not only WOULD use them again, I DID. When I needed French doors installed at my other house, I didn't even bother talking to another company -- I called Travis. The doors are BEAUTIFUL, perfectly installed and stained, and they're fabulous! THANK YOU TRAVIS AND YOUR WONDERFUL CRAFTSMEN! I couldn't be happier!

They were wonderful. They showed up on time. They had about five workers here. They installed 10 windows in one day and cleaned up after themselves.

They were on time, prompt, courteous, and efficient, with a terrific product. Despite the cold and snow, the installers diligently worked outside to secure the new window.

The quality of their work and service was very good. However, their prices were quite high. We could?ve ordered the same windows at a cheaper rate from another provider. I would shop around for prices and if I find theirs to be competitive I would use them again. We have no outstanding issues with them.
