Chuck and Dave did a fantastic job as did the entire crew that day, My wife and I are extremely satisfied with the quality of the product and the work performed. Looking forward to having the remaining windows replaced un the future. Great job!

Contacted the company, spoke with a gentleman who told me he needed to think about the issue and would call me back in 1 -2 days. Never called back. Have not been able to get company on phone. Very disappointed.

I was interested in replacing the old wood frame/aluminum track windows in my house. I have been a fan of Andersen windows and called Renewal for a quote. I figured it would be a perfect way to get high quality, energy efficient windows without having to tear my siding off - they are able to manufacture replacement windows that drop into the existing opening that look like new construction windows. The salesman arrived on time but what I was told would take an hour took over two hours. Lots of visual aids were used to show the construction features and energy efficiency but no actual cost savings on energy were quantified. I also watched many videos on the technology, manufacture, and installation of Renewal windows. All my windows were rough measured and desired options configured. After all that he slid a piece of paper across the table. The price was staggering, $121,455 for all new windows. But after the "discounts" that price dropped to $80,160 (or $34/square foot based on my house at 2300sqft). And if I signed up THAT DAY another 5% would be deducted. Of course financing options were discussed only $762/month for 10 YEARS! Here are my problems with Renewal: 1) Who has the nerve to ask me to spend $80,000 when I have known them for all of two hours. And not take the hint I need time to consider. 2) Why are these windows so expensive?? - the videos all show how Fibrex material is made from waste streams (recycled materials like wood fiber), that the technology for Fibrex was developed in 1992, and Renewal of Valley View is an Andersen office so there is no middle man, you are buying right from Andersen!! And the crews are specialized since they only install these windows, surely they have it down to a science and minimize the time/mistakes of install. 3) No effort is given to quantify energy savings. They will put a heat lamp on one side of the window glass and have you put your hand on the other side to see how much cooler their glass will make your house... How about investing some time on factual evidence. Especially when you expect me to spend 1/3 the purchase price of my home on your windows. 4) The salesman wouldn't leave. I told him I would think about it. As I helped him carry out all his sales aids he asked me on a scale of 1-10 how likely I was to purchase. Dude, take a hint. I don't need high pressure sales tactics. I later got a quote to rip off my aluminum siding, wrap with Tyvek, install James Hardie lap siding on my whole house, install new soffits, and to install all new windows ~$60,000. Now there is a number I can wrap my head around.

The sales call went fine though it lasted a couple hours. A few days later a person came to measure the windows (3-hr window of time for arrival). He was very professional and answered my questions. Installation was scheduled -- earliest time was three weeks later. Installer, Ken Arbie, arrived on time (one-hour window). I was worried that only one person was going to do a big job, involving first and second floor of my home, but I shouldn't have worried. Ken was very experienced and worked steadily all day long. I felt comfortable leaving him alone in the house for several hours. The installation was very well done -- lots of attention to detail with cutting, nailing, insulation, caulking, etc. The wood trim inside looks great and so does the aluminum trim outside. The only issue was a bent screen that Ken brought to my attention. The company will be replacing the screen in the next few weeks. All-in-all a great product and installation, though the price was much higher than I expected.

Set up equipment, professionally protected home and contents, including furniture and carpeting, cleaned up thoroughly, and all despite bad weather. Communicated effectively, all the installers were professional, dressed in clean uniforms with company name visible, performed all the work exactly as described by the sales man. Cleaned up at end of day.

We, here at Bissler & Sons Funeral Home, had the privilege of experiencing the ?Renewal by Anderson way.? From the first meeting with Shawn Liston (Technical Measure) and Domenic Iammarino (Sales), we were very impressed with their knowledge and attirude. We not only bought a superior window, but we also purchased their professionalism. We bought into the company philosophy as well as the product. We then had 3 wonderful crews for the install days. They installed 37 windows in 2 days and left the building very clean and back in order when they were done. The crews were friendly and polite. They also were able to work around our day-to-day work which helped a great deal. We highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace windows.

The salesman, Chris, was knowledgeable and didn't try to give us a hard sell. Work was easily scheduled. Workmen (team of three including team leader Terry Wolf) arrived on time. Unfortunately my husband, who was supposed to have returned from India yesterday, was still there due to bad fog in Delhi and 2 feet of snow in Newark. We have a large sectional which is hooked together in two places. Due to a neck problem, I cannot lift any part of the sectional or the tall, heavy light we have behind it. I cleared the room of the lighter things, but as soon as they arrived the men went to work taking apart the sectional and moving it and the large lamp to the other side of the room. They said they were happy to do it for me. They put plastic over my furniture and went to work. It was quite a job, but they obviously knew what they were doing. They put down drop cloths anywhere they had to walk in the house. They were here about seven hours and were working constantly. They worked well together and my windows look great - inside and out. The team moved my sectional back and put it together. They couldn't have been nicer and I couldn't be happier with the results. This is the second time we have had Andersen windows installed in this house and they make a big difference. No air comes in around these windows and the sounds we used to hear from outside are almost nonexistent.

They did a good job with all the windows. Trim work was perfect. The crews were professional and skilled. The point that my experience turned bad was with the front entry door. The door was the last task performed on the second day but fell far short of my expectations. The door is not plum, there are blemishes on the outside of the door's finish and the casing, the flashing was not tucked behind the siding, the hardware doesn't function properly and the screws don't match the finish, and the wires for the door bell were smashed with only a tiny amount sticking out to connect to. It has now been over 5 weeks now and I still can't get a resolution. They mentioned they want to touch up the blemishes but I don't want a touch up. I want a new door because I didn't pay for a scratch and dent item. Finally got a call back and they want another 2 weeks before they even come and look at it. In the mean time I still can't use my front door. Figured going with a company with great reviews was going to be a safe choice but I guess not.

From the salesman, install team, and the supervisor who came to check on the project were wonderful. Even installed the windows in snowy cold weather.

The representative in the showroom was friendly and knowledgeable. She answered as many questions as she could. The problem for us was that the showroom did not display very many exterior doors. We were also looking for triple pane windows and this provider does not make them. We may have been interested in meeting a representative, but were not interested in a three hour presentation, just to get more home specific questions answered.

Did not happen and will not use them for our project.

It has worked out fine. The only thing I really quivered about was price but then I decided to go with them anyway compared to the other companies because their reputation said they would complete the job as stated. So I chose them in spite of the price. I thought it was pricey. They were prompt and got the job done when they said they would.

They are entirely to expensive for replacement windows! They give you a very high estimate to begin with and then give you a discount if you agree to go with them. They should give the second price first instead of inflating the price. I got another quote for window and installation from another replecable dealer and that price was half the cost of Anderson Windows. In other words they are overly price for windows and labor to install!!!! thank you

The installation was very professional. Hassle Free! The window quality is great. We see a dramatic difference on our gas bill this winter. We are very happy with our new windows.

I think the quality, installation and everything was wonderful and it was more than my expectations. I think the cost was very high end. I didn’t know much at that time but I do now. I may not go back there because of the cost but otherwise they are wonderful. The main thing is that you have to choose. The quality was the best.

The entire process with Renewal by Anderson was very professional and I was kept informed every step of the way. When my windows were ready to be installed two days were scheduled. Despite the intense hot weather, the crew worked hard to stay on schedule and were able to finish on the second day. During installation they recognized a flaw in one window and a crack in another. They had those windows reordered and taken care of before I even inspected the job. I would recommend Renewal by Anderson to anyone.

They replaced all the windows in the house. It included bay windows, several 7 foot windows and 5 sliding glass doors.

This company was contacted for an estimate for approximately 20 replacement windows. During the first call ther was a miss communication with the scheduller about wood being needed around the windows. I did not know what she meant because of course she was talking to a home owner not a professional window tech. I said yes to the wood because that what was already there not knowing about replacement windows. After putting me on hold, I was told they could not help me and to go somewhere else. (Not helpful at all) I then called clarified with my city planning dept. that wood was not needed around my windows and that the windows Anderson would be fine. I attempted to call Renewal by Anderson back to try to schedule an estimate but when I called the cleveland number I was transferred to someone in Minnasota. They did not know anything about the city I lived in or the problem I was trying to explain. I asked why I was speaking with someone in Minnasota when I called a cleveland number and she did no know. So, I was then tranferred to a cleveland number. When reaching someone in cleveleand, I was again transferrd to a scheduller for an appointment, each time stating the whole problem and details over and over again. When I did reach someone to make an appointment she asked for all the people in the house to be present. I am the only one who lives and owns the house but I told the girl that my mother may be there with me for moral support. She then proceded to ask too much personal information but my mom who by the way dosen't live in the home. After multiple questions, the appointment was scheduled for a Sunday. This call was made on Wednesday. So, ok good response time for an appointment. However, the company called me again at work on Friday to confirm the appointment for Sunday and again asked about my mother being at the appointment. I told them that she would not be there after all. They would not come out to the appointment because my mom could not be there and wanted to reschedule. Did I mention that my mother does not live or own the home !!! I then cancelled the appointment right there and then with extreme frustration in dealing with this company. They then continued to call my cell and home leaving messages to call for an appointment. They did not get I cancelled the appointment. I will not ever call or recommed this company to anyone ever again.

I like their quality of product. They were really good. The cost was high but it was worth it in regards to the product. The windows are energy efficiency. The company was good to work with and the salesperson was nice and knowledgeable. The person who came out to measure the window was very professional. The installers were fantastic.

Terrible experience with the scheduling dept.

I wanted to add a window to a room that didn't have one, but I needed it to match the other windows Renewal had replaced in my home. The weather was turning a bit chilly, but Renewal worked so quickly and efficiently, I had little problem with changes in the temperature. The window we chose blends perfectly with the exterior of the other Renewal products, and pleasingly complements the interior remodeling job. All personnel were courteous and professional, and a pleasure to work with.

They were terrific. We met with the sales people. They were courteous knowledgeable and listened to us. We placed an order and were happy with the slightly high price. We then got concerned about the window sill material. We called and asked if there was a show room where the material could be viewed. They told us where the show room was and made it a point to be there when we arrived. They answered all of our questions and were very helpful. The installation went extremely well. We had a question on a couple of the windows and the tradesmen explained every thing to our satisfaction. They cleaned up and when they were finished all we had to do was look at our new beautiful windows.

Windows were high quality. The work was excellent. The contractors were friendly and competent. I would say the entire experience of purchase and installation was a good one. The only minor complaint I have is with the company that handled their financing (GreenskyCredit). They made some mistakes with billing that required a few phone calls but, everything was resolved fairly easily.

On time, neat work, very satisfied.
