Description of Work: We had 12 windows replaced with new Andersen windows. Our windows were over 20+ years old(originals when we built house). Our kitchen casement window was replaced with an awning type window, while the others were normal double hung. 11 windows were pine, while one was vinyl. |All work was done on the day they scheduled. We had nothing but good results with all the people from this office. They were courteous and answered all our questions. We are very happy with our windows. The only downside is that Andersen windows are expensive. However, we felt that they were the windows we wanted. |

Description of Work: They installed a replacement for a picture window with sliders that never worked properly. I chose a center picture window with 2 side double hung windows with grilles between the glass. The installation went smoothly, due to the talented installer. The windows are a great improvement, inside and outside of my homework!

Description of Work: Replace roof. Found several things that needed fixing (some they did not do that type of work) They were all employees, very prompt, polite. The sales man took us to a display roof and showed us all the options, explained each one and the choice was ours no pressure.

Description of Work: Overall an ok experience. Pricey windows. No wonder everyone wants to sell replacement window. Margins must be astronomical. Replaced to garage windows. Straight forward. Master bath window also relaced. Made it clear wanted same wood finish as other Anderson windows in my home. No problem.....until installers showed up and window was unfinished. After phone call, told "oh no....not finished! BS! Rather than battle sales person vs corporate, finished interior window myself. Should have billed them for my time.

Description of Work: replaced windows and installed two storm doors It was the second time I used them and they were great! Everyone was punctual from the sales rep to the measurer and the installers. The installers were excellent and cleaned up the areas very well.

Description of Work: Did extensive warranty repair and replacement on outdoor French doors. They had previously been improperly installed by a former installer. It appears to be working properly. We'll see once I'm using it again in the spring.

Description of Work: Replaced 20 some windows of various types and an exterior entry and storm door. I first had half the windows replace and about 6 months later had the rest of the windows and door replaced. Each time they came to make replacements took 1 day, so total time was 2 days. House was craftsman style house built in 1929. It had the original windows. It was important to me that the exterior look of the house not be changed. The Anderson worker took care to make the new windows match the style of the house. They used a crew of 4 and work went very smoothly. The costs of the windows, door, and installation is very high, but to me the results were worth it. I am happy with the product and the installation work was first rate.

Description of Work: Custom Home Improvement installed two windows several years ago that were substandard to us. We had Anderson replace them; one window was in the kitchen, while the other window was in the powder room. In addition, we had Anderson replace the garage window with one that was a slider and had an opaque surface.

Description of Work: They took out and replaced 17 windows from our 74 year old home. It wasn't easy as they were steel windows and storms. They added moldings to all windows free of charge as the damage to the sides from the steel windows was extensive. They replaced the front door and side lights. They will return to finish the work on the door as it arrived with the wrong side lights, but they secured it on the outside. They put drop cloths on everything, vacuumed both days and finished in one and a half days. Excellent work.
