Norm and his team were friendly, efficient, and did absolutely beautiful work. They opened two walls and completely remodeled my entire kitchen in one month. They made the entire process as seamless as possible. Ruth and Norm were always available to answer any questions that came up. I love my new kitchen.

Very well. Took a little longer than we hoped, but well worth it now that it's complete. The only thing I wish we'd done differently is put a list together before the work started of all the decisions that we needed to make, and a date by which they needed to be made in order not to hold up the work. Without intending to, we held up progress a bit by decisions that we didn't know we had to make earlier in the process. Still, overall, very pleased with the end result, and the entire team was friendly, thoroughly professional, clean, courteous, and highly competent.

We couldn't be happier with the process. But before I give a full review, i wanted to note we thought ahead of time about what would make this a good experience. We viewed the most important things as value, the quality of work and the experience of working with the entire team, from bid to completion. That last one matters a lot to us as the team is in and out of your home for weeks. If you dread having the selected team of skilled professionals show up every day, your experience will be awful. So, we put a lot of stock in that. All of that being said, Regency was amazing on all counts. The price was fair for the work required, the experience of working with Norm, Ruth and the whole team was incredible. They were communicative, respectful and flexible when material delays may have derailed the schedule with other companies, but they adapted and kept the overall schedule in mind. The quality of the work done on the tile, floor and the shelving was spectacular. They even caught plumbing issues that could've been a problem in other areas of the home later and fixed those. Norm and team were great listeners... They definitely plugged in with the vision my wife had for the design and made extremely helpful recommendations along the way to further that. They kept the area extremely clean each night and the whole project finished in the time of the original schedule. We've already recommended Regency to 3 other friends of ours and there's a real craving I think for companies that can do good work, provide a good service experience while respecting normal families' budgets. Regency fits the bill!

I never proceeded with any work or even any estimate due to the fact that this service provider is not willing to do work in Independence only in Cleveland Hts or Shaker area.

Very well - took a little longer than promised, but I believe that was due to circumstances outside Norm's control (delays in materials, etc). They were always responsive with anything we asked for.

Regency Developers was absolutely fantastic. Every single thing they did was perfect. They were a joy to work with. Every contractor they sent to our house was great. They were friendly, trust worthy, on time and completely cleaned up before they left for the day. Ruth was so helpful throughout the whole process. She answered any and all questions immediately. Norm came to the house several times to make sure everything was going smoothly. The end product looks way better than I could have imagined! Exactly what we wanted! I give this company an A+ and would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to remodel a basement.

We would highly suggest using Regency for your remodeling project. We had our kitchen remodeled and it was a very positive experience. The work was timely, reasonable, and totally professional. The workers were friendly, efficient, and cleaned up after themselves. The owner Norm visited frequently to keep on top of things. Ruth, the office coordinator, kept everything on schedule. A+

The workers were professional and cleaned up well at the end of each day. There was a minimum of disruption for a job of this scope. The work was thoroughly explained and alternatives offered and they were patient with our many questions.

Everything went well, a couple minor problems were fixed promptly. You can tell Norm is a good guy just trying to make a honest living, and Ruth keeps on top of the project like a pro! Will definitely use again for future projects.

My bathroom apparently had never been remodeled since the house was built decades ago, so it was in pretty bad shape and had to be totally redone. Water leakage during the last years also caused some damage to an adjacent closet. I called the three highest ranked companies listed by Angie's list in my area, and the only one that replied in a timely manner was Regent. Their quote was within the expected range, and I was also very positively impressed by the fact that they had Ruth as a "project coordinator", who was always available when I called. One thing that made the job more difficult was our tight schedule, since our family was supposed to come visit us from overseas within less than 4 weeks from the time we could start doing the work. Norm and his people did a wonderful job, and the bathroom was finished just in time for our visitors. Everyone was very positively impressed with the final result, specially us. We would definitely recommend them for their professionalism, cleanliness, courtesy, honesty and also ease of communication.

We are absolutely in love with our new and more spacious bathroom! And we greatly enjoyed working with Norm, Ruth, and all the rest at Regency Developers. Rather than being a big hassle, which many home projects can turn into, it was actually a fun and rewarding experience. Our bathroom was the original pink and black tile version from when the house was built in 1941. There was a small 40x40in stall shower behind the door when you entered, a toilet by the window, a vanity to the right of the door, and an old tub beside the vanity on the opposite wall of the shower. Not only did we want to refresh our bathroom, we wanted to add functionality and storage space. Norm and his team were by far the most responsive and helpful while walking us through all of our options. And they were also very patient while we obtained and compared multiple quotes from other contractors. Furthermore, they were quick to clarify any questions we had during the quoting process. Once comparing all of our options, Regency Developers was the easy choice ? the quote was competitive, they were able to begin the job quickly, and we felt we could trust them to perform the work we requested. They more than lived up to our initial perception. Selecting our new bathroom pieces was a clear and straightforward process ? Ruth is a pleasure to work with and keeps track of the details! The demo of the old bathroom was clean and efficient. Once the demo was complete, it was easier to see what we had to work with. The old bathroom was definitely at the end of its time. There were leaks and plumbing issues that we did not anticipate before the job began. Always open and honest, Norm worked with us to come up with a plan to resolve these issues as well as give us the additional storage space and functionality we were seeking ? and all at the originally quoted cost. Along the way there were some other little surprises, but Norm and the Regency Developers team always went above and beyond to address them properly. We were always informed of the status and the next steps, and never felt like our requests were an annoyance to the team. And it was easy to incorporate any change order requests we made, with quick and clear cost updates broken out per item. Regency Developers is a group of really good people that we completely trusted to be in our home, even when we were away at work or on vacation. Our new bathroom is amazing! The quality and craftsmanship is clear. We have a new larger vanity and sink with a beautiful granite top where the old shower stall used to be. A new toilet was able to be installed 10in further back, opening up the space in the bathroom significantly. A recesssed linen cabinet was installed in the wall above the toilet giving us space for towels that we never had before. A new pedestal sink was installed in the place of the old vanity. The shower was combined with the tub. We opted to refinish the existing tub and it turned out beautifully. The team installed beautiful ceramic tile around the entire tub to the ceiling and we also have a newly tiled floor. All of the plumbing hardware, shower niches, accent tile, and other bathroom accessories were installed flawlessly. Norm and his team are a delight to work with. Going into this project we knew we wanted a new bathroom, but to be honest we had no idea of the level of work and attention to detail that it would take. Norm guided us along the way entirely and provided helpful suggestions, but was never pushy or impatient with us. It is clear that he and his team take pride in what they do and realize that they are improving a family?s home, not just doing a job to make a quick dollar.

Norm came and took the time to listen to my concerns and even suggested lower cost alternatives. He did not rush through this process which showed me that even though this was a small job, it mattered to him. There was another company that would not even come out !

Norm and his crew did a wonderful job remodeling our bathroom. They listened to us and did their best at every turn to make this a great space in our home. They always made time for us and proved that their goal was to give us the bathroom we wanted. They take pride in their work ans it shows. Very pleased and would recommend them to anyone considering getting work done on their home.

I am very pleased with the company. Every time I was ready for a new set of windows I would stop in the store and tell the owner which windows I wanted done and pay a deposit, the installer (Jim, though he's gone now) would come over to measure, and then come back to install when they came in. I returned to the store to make the final payment, though I probably didn't need to. Very smooth every time. The only time I had to be home was when Jim did the attic windows, since those had to be done from inside. The business changed ownership toward the end, when I had one or two sets left to go. I found the new management to be just as easy to work with as the old. I have no experience with the installer who replaced Jim, however (he was still there when my last windows went in).

This was my first remodel experience and on the whole it went very well although it took longer than expected. I liked the personnel that I dealt with and trusted them to work in my home without me being present. They did take care to protect my hardwood floors but I wish they had hung up a plastic sheet in the doorway to keep more of the dust in the bathroom. The staff did point out a color problem with the shower tile before it was installed so that I had achance to get different stock that matched my bullnose tile. They also discovered some plumbing issue that they did not charge me for and delayed the finish of the project by 1-2 days. I have three cats and the staff made sure that they did not get out. I would hire them again to work in my home.

Norm was very pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. He even met me on a Sunday to accommodate my schedule just to give me an estimate. I was always willing to go outside my budget to work with him but just couldn't. I hope there will be an opportunity to do business with him in the future when it is a better fit for both of us.

I was looking for a reliable GC to take on a 203K project. I was told it would not be cost effective or worth his time to take on the project because it was a "bunch of little things" and not a major renovation. He cancelled the appointment we made for the estimate based solely on my budget. I contacted this provider despite a recent "F" rating, figuring it must be a fluke and now I can understand why he received it. I was very happy with the level of communication I received from Ruth, she was very friendly and responsive and returned calls and emails promptly. However, unless you have a "Big Bucks" budget, I would look for another provider

We are very pleased with the quality of the work. We had detailed statement of work that Regency fulfilled. Only issue was timeliness due to problems with plumbing sub. Regency found another sub and completed the job.

It was fantastic. They were very professional and excellent. They redid our kitchen and redid our basement.

This one of the best experiences we have ever had in the history of remodeling and updating several old home over a span of almost 30 years. Norm and his team were incredibly professional - some of the best workmanship we have ever seen. Our project was started in early February of 2014 and completed in mid April. (during a very brutal Ohio winter). We had a few delays during the remodel, but Norm was flexible and got his crews out on several Sundays to make up time. The various experts on his team took great care with our home and were meticulous in attention to detail. His tile people specifically were outstanding. His Project Manager Ruth was amazing; she kept both her own team as well as us on track with final decision making, status of what issues were open or closed - and did this all with a sense of humor while not dropping a detail. We sourced a lot of elements ourselves, so keeping track of who did what was pretty daunting. Everyone told us prior to starting this project what a pain it would be. Yes, there were the typical frustrations that popped up from time to time - but the end result is exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend Regency as they were flexible to our ideas and how we wanted to approach things - and it all worked out great!

We called Regency and they came out immediately and mesured the window, ordered the storm and glass and returned as soon as it was ready. They worked quickly and efficiently and we have had no porblems with the window. I don't remember what we paid for the window, but it seemed reasonable at the time.

Norm, the owner, is a really great guy to work with, and was given the task of rebuilding an old garage that was in very bad condition. The crew was punctual and professional . Due to a miscommunication, the job ended up being more expensive than we first talked about, but looking back we realize it was a very tough project, and most contractors would not have put in the effort that Norm and his crew did.

It went great. Norm and his team were always on-time, worked efficiently, cleaned-up each day and they were polite and very good at what they did. It was a very positive experience and we are extremely pleased with our new walk-in shower; it's exactly what we were looking for. I would happily use Norm and his team at Regency again and/or refer them to family and friends.

I contracted with Regency Developers in July and waited for my turn which began on October 15. The entire project took 6 weeks. All the workers were very professional, trustworthy, and competent.. I have the sense that the walls are reinforced much better than previously, and a fan was installed so that moisture will no longer be a problem for me. The entire bathroom was beautifully done, and I especially like the new vanity, the restored area around the window, and the large shower with a glass door and a bench. There is a lot more cabinet storage, as well as 5 beautiful lights. The tile work was done very carefully and competently. I asked for changes to be made in the location of a cabinet and a towel bar, and my requests were immediately honored. The hole in the basement ceiling from the leak from the previous shower pan was repaired and dry walled. The bathroom was painted, as well as a linen closet in the hall and the trim of the other doors in the hall. The new bigger door for the bathroom was varnished and looks lovely. I appreciated that Norm came to the house almost every day to supervise the project, so that we could discuss the current work, as well as the next steps. The plumbing and electric work were expertly completed and passed Cleveland Heights inspection with no difficluty.

October rolled around and I had yet to hear back from them. I called them and requested a refund unless the work was started within a week. After mentioning that I would be leaving a review on the experience with Angies List they sent someone right out to start the work. Pam came out to do the prep work and she was the neatest and cleanest worker that I have ever dealt with. They ended up doing a great job and I was satisfied with the end result.
