Description of Work: I used Ray's Cleaning Solutions & Home Maintenance couple of months ago for house cleaning.

Description of Work: We had to move my mother to a nursing home, but wanted the home safe in case she was able to return. Ray had previously done cleaning and repair work at the house. Ray kindly offered to keep an eye on the house while my mom was away, and to look in on it from time to time, to make sure everything was ok. Since the closest family member lives over a hour from the house, and checking on the house is quite a burden, we eagerly accepted Ray's suggestion and sent him a key, knowing that the home would be in good hands with him watching over it. through the winter. When Mom passed in late spring, Ray even came to the funeral. We feel extremely fortunate to have found him: He is kind, thoughtful, and especially talented as a house cleaner and handyman. Description of Work: We had previously employed Ray to clean Mom's home. But he also provides handyman services, and the front facade of the garage, made of particle board, was crumbling and area over the door was sagging from the disintegrating board. so we asked him to fix that.

Description of Work: My elderly mother (97!) was still living at home and was greatly in need of an honest, reliable, kind person to clean her modest home periodically, as well as someone to provide occasional handyman services. We had poor experiences in the past with cleaning and maintenance people, and were quite wary of who to hire to help her. A friend suggested Ray, and he is just what we needed. It had been months since the house had been cleaned when he arrived. He estimated a fair price and did a thorough cleaning job, having to clean in a crowded and long-neglected small home. He did just what needed to be done, he worked efficiently and thoroughly, and he was very kind to my mother -- which means a lot when you have a stranger come to assist you. Unfortunately, my mother had to enter an assisted living facility soon after Ray's visit, so we were unable to employ him again for the same service. But we will call upon him as we prepare the home to be sold, to help us clean it and fix the small things that can make a difference in a home sale.
