Pro Handyman Construction and Gutter Cleaning

The owner was doing leaf removal for my neighbor, so we asked for an estimate. He offered to clean the gutters, and remove the leaves on my property, with a follow up visit before the end of November, all for $150.00. This was reasonable so we hired him. A week later he showed up unannounced and cleaned the gutters, used a leaf blower to blow the leaves in my front yeard to the street curb, and then demanded payment. He indicated he would return to do the 'follow up clean' in 'a few weeks'. I called him asking why he didn't do my back yard, and he told me he needed another $65 to do my back yard because he was so busy. When I challenged him on this, and threatened to cancel the check, he said he'd do it, and that the $65 was only to get the work done quicker. Fast forward to the last day that leaves could be put out for pick up, and he returns (after multiple phone calls on my part), redoes the leaves in the front yard, leaving my backyard, driveway and side of the house still covered in leaves. He said he'd need another $50 to do the backyard. I told him to leave and had to do the remainder myself. Completely dishonest and I would never recommend to anyone.

EXTREMELY POORLY !!!! Work was contracted for and paid for (in advance) but never performed. Mr. Johnson indicated proficiency in many fields but proved that he and his company was not capable of satisfactory performance of contracted tasks. Mr. Johnson and/or his company also used for their own purposes (and destroyed) several items owned by the person contracting Mr. Johnson for services.

Never finished the job, claimed he needed a longer ladder and never returned to complete job. Worse, he stuck my neighbor also. While a civil matter will file police report so others don't get taken.

They were very punctual and went right to work. They cleaned up all debri from the gutters and even cleaned off the roof my garage. Mr Johnson gave me some suggestions other jobs that would improve my property. I was very graceful for his suggestions.

The garage looks ok. I don't know if the work on the gutters was actually done. The back window was repaired and i was very happy with it. Glass from front door was removed and suppose to have been replaced. That was over 2 months ago. Was told different stories about the glass. Giving different stories about why could not come and complete the job. Finally came to put board up on front door but even that didn't stay up. His excuse for the shady work and service was i am giving you a discount or i don't have transportation. Even went as far.to claim i didn't pay him for labor to put the glass in the front door.

Work was completed on time and in accordance to the contract price was very affordable

Larry did a great job with the gutters and recommend covers which we had installed. We had him powerwash. They did a great job. We decided to have him paint our shutters and They look great, but he didn't finish our awning which we paid for. He said finish up the following day, Saturday and we trust that he would . He didn't show up, but texted in the evening to let us know he'd follow up on Monday July 17. He hasn't showed up and hasn't responded to my phone calls or text.

Great! The workers were quick and efficient. They informed me of what they would be doing and what they would need (hose, gates unlocked, access to back yard). They cleaned up after themselves and put the bag of refuse on the curb.

It went great, I've had no overflow or problems with my gutters since.

Larry Came was really nice and attentive to the fact that it was an eye sore to the street .He was able to get the materials at a excellent price and had the problem fixed within a weeks time.Hard worker all paperwork and receipts in order to show what was spent.I was able to recommend him to some of the other members at my church for odd jobs needed at their home looking forward to doing more business with Mr. Johnson in the future at my home .

He quoted me for $1800 and had a signed contract. He did demo the porch as requested which turned out fine but the dumpster stayed in the driveway for more than a week longer than promised. I had to call the dumpster company myself to get it picked up. He patched in some siding but it was a combo of aluminum and vinyl and looked terrible. He then changed the quote and needed more money to do it right-- $1200!! I unfortunately paid him that money (again, with a signed contract) but no work was ever done after that. And Larry DOES use subcontractors! He subcontracted out the siding job. I had to hire another company to complete the job. He has promised for months to return the $1200 that he took for that job but never shows up when we plan to meet and never seems to have the money to give me. When I call to check on the status of my refund, he claims I am harassing him. He cashed the check very quickly but can't seem to write one just as fast. Will unfortunately have to go to small claims court to get this settled. It is not worth the hassle to hire Larry or his subcontractors for any job. Do not trust this man!! He is a professional con-man! Check your city's list of approved contractors-- Larry is NOT on the list for Shaker Heights. He also mysteriously has no real address-- the BBB has a listed address for him that doesn't exist. I had to hire someone else to finish the job the right way.

The service was excellent

Excellent work was done in cleaning all of these stone and concret surfaces. The 8 year old stamped conrete patio looked brand new again, and all dirt and marks were removed from all the surfaces.

They were very responsible. The price is high that's why I'm not going to use them.
