Replacement of garage door opener. When I was given the option of only replacing burned out circuit board or whole unit, I chose circuit board since the unit was just over 1 year old. In all fairness, the serviceman cautioned me at the time that once the new board was in there may be other issues uncovered. Which turned out to be the case. So that necessitated the whole new unit..my bad. My issue with them is not the quality of their work but customer service. 15 days went by before the job was done. The circuit board had to be ordered by the serviceman which was done on day one. I called the company on day 5 re. status of the order. Was told the office manager. Would call back. She did,the next day to say part should be in the next day or day after at which time she would call to schedule day for repair. On day10 I called again and the person who answered the phone tried to contact the parts dept. unsuccessfully. She assured me that they would be in touch with me "shortly". On day 13 I called and was told by the person answering the phone that her email to the parts dept. Would be marked "high priority ". On day 14 the office manager called to schedule an appt. for service. The man came the next day. All that having been said, it would have been less frustrating knowing whether follow up was being done by a call initiated by them instead of me constantly having to call them and being put on hold.
