I had originally thought about painting my front and back porches myself, but when they tested positive for lead paint I decided I would rather not do the work myself. I sent out several inquiries on Angies List between June and July looking for a contractor to do the painting. Granted this is the busy season for contractors, but the ONLY contractor to respond in a timely manner was Pinpoint Painting. After we quickly got an estimate, they didn't just tell us to pick a color. They sent out a decorator at no charge to help us decide on an appropriate color. She was very nice and stopped by in the evening a little after 6PM, which was very convenient. It was also nice not to have to purchase the paint--Pinnacle took care of that for us. Shortly after we picked the color, Pinpoint called us to schedule a time for the job--8AM this past Wednesday (8/12/15). I cleared off our front porch (plants, furniture, etc.) but completely forgot about the back porch. No complaints from Pinnacle--they cleared off the back porch, which included a heavy bag of mulch AND an overgrown vine crawling up from below. Once the job was done, Tim (who carried out the work) and Zach (the owner) both reached out to me after the job to make sure I was satisfied. Finally, they informed me that I could make an online payment. As someone who has a crappy cell phone plan (I never talk on the phone), not having to give out a credit card number over the phone (or send a check) was a revelation. I am not just satisfied-- this is THE BEST experience I have had with a contractor in recent memory (with the possible exception of Killeen Plumbing, who are also awesome).

Point of contact, Doug was responsive. They had the best price out of four providers I checked with. I felt they fully communicated what to expect. They didn’t ask for payment until I told them I was satisfied with the job.

It worked out excellent! I recommend them to anybody. He stood behind his work and he was very personable.

Outstanding communications and followup. The crew was prompt and polite. They worked quietly and unobtrusively, cleaned up well. Owner followed up in person.

They were very professional and courteous. I did not end up going with them due to price. I would have used him as a second back up, if I'd not gone with the provider that I did.

They did a great job. They stuck through to the estimate that they gave me. They also came in on time, and even made sure the painting was done before Thanksgiving. They cleaned up behind themselves, and the owner walked through to make sure everything looked good. It took them about two days to do the work.

They did a good job for painting the interior of the house so we had them paint the outside of the house. The owner was very nice. He would come in. He was always checking on the painters. The painters were very reliable. One of them had a medical emergency so he was gone for a couple of days. They were on time. They were on time. They did a very good job. They owner of the company was here all the time and see how everything was doing and making sure that everything was fine. They even did a couple of extra things that I wanted fix up. The owner was very friendly. We took them because they were kind of middle quote.

They painted the outside of the house for two days. I didn’t think that they would be doing that quickly. They did a very good job for painting the exterior of the house.

They were very professional, they arrived when they said they would and did the work in the time they predicted.

Zach was prompt and professional when I contacted the company for a quote. He knew his lead-safe practices and went over exactly how the prep work needed to happen. They were the only company to point out tiny details to consider when painting the exterior, like damage that will occur to plants near the house due to tarps that need to go down to catch any lead paint chips. This was very helpful. I needed to have my house painted by October 2nd and they were very accommodating. Because the bulk of my house has painted aluminum siding, they were able to use a pressure washer on the siding part of the house. However when they started washing the siding, they didn't put down any tarps or anything over the plants, so several plants were severely damaged. The first day they also did not clean up so there were paint chips over not only my yard but my neighbor's yard as well. After the first day they made sure to put tarps down and make sure that there were no paint chips in any of my neighbor's properties. Once the main paint color started going on the house, I realized I made a mistake and chose the wrong color. I called Zach and told him that I needed to change the color. He was extremely helpful and accommodating. He quickly ran the numbers and did everything possible to keep the costs down for my color change. The trim, accent and main color of the house came out great. However, I did have to have them come back out and clean up more paint chips out of my yard once the job was done. Overall I think they were great and I would have been able to give them A's across the board if they had just been a little more neurotic about clean up.

GREAT company! It is always so refreshing to call anyone in the 'construction/contractor' business and speak with someone who is articulate, educated, and polite. I initially chose Pinpoint based upon all of the other positive Angie's reviews. Upon my first call, I spoke with one of the owners, Doug. He was extremely nice, was open to listening to my suggestions, and patient with me during all of my questions. He's extremely knowledgable and was able to provide excellent information. I was scheduled a couple of days later for the other owner, Zach, to come out and give me a quote. Zach was also extremely nice, well spoken, and friendly. I also ran a couple of suggestions and questions by him, and he was very honest and knowledgeable. I found a fairly new wood sealing product online (it has very low VOC and free from formaldehyde). It's from Oregon and no stores in the area sell it. Due to it being so new on the market and not being used in this area yet, Zach was honest about needing to do more research before letting me know exactly how much i needed to order. The quote from Pinpoint was delivered to me the next morning, and he and I discussed the amount of sealer I needed to purchase. Even though I started this later in the season, they quickly fit me into their schedule. The team who came out to do the work were very, very skilled painters. Their technique was stellar, and they were VERY clean! They were also intrigued by the sealer from Oregon, they took home a label to research as well. I will definitely hire the company again in the spring to seal my deck and paint shudders on my house! Thank you so much, and please tell Donnie and Mike they did a wonderful job!!

Can't say enough about Zach and Doug at PinPoint Painting -- they went the extra mile to ensure that my job was completed this season. I had not worked with PinPoint in the past, but will certainly call them in the future. Both Zach and Doug (owners) kept me well informed with regard to where my job was on their schedule and when I could expect to have the job done given that the weather was starting to change. As promised they completed the job in a very timely manner and did an excellent job at that. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to painting and not easily impressed, but they did it. Thanks again guys!

The guys were wonderful. Very prompt. Power washed my house the day before. They masked off everything. Beautiful job. Very pleased.

We met Doug (one of the owners) and liked him right away. He was honest, answered all our questions, timely with the appointment we had set up to discuss what we wanted and price. His crew (Mark and Mike) came out and helped us move a couple large pieces of furniture without any hesitation covered everything and was very careful throughout all the painting treating our home as if it were their home. They were great ! Precise in their work, pleasant to work with and talk with and I even asked to have a couple extra things done which they didn't hesitate to do and I had Doug adjust my final figure to meet my extra request which was much less than I had figured it would be. The job which I thought would take 3 days at least, took only 2 days and part of that I believe was because the crew only took a half hour for lunch, and no other time for breaks. They worked from the time they arrived at 8:00am until they finished each day for the 2 days. I was very impressed with their work ethics. I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a professional painting company . Doug is great to work with and his crew was the best I have seen. We are extremely happy with our decision to have used their services.

We didn't have other bids come out. I was really so happy with that guy. I think his name was Doug. He was really outstanding. He was so pleasant and so nice, and I just wanted to go with him. I think his price was moderate.

Doug Rhamy was outstanding to work with. We had several companies come out to provide us an estimate, and Doug provided us with the most thorough and fair estimate. Bill and his crew spent over 4 days working on our house to cover all of the details. The finished product was exactly what we wanted. We couldn't be happier with the professional Service and outstanding results we got. I would highly recommend Pinpoint painting for anyone looking to gave their home reprinted!

We had the entire interior painted. It was very important for us to make good choices as it was a big project. We are very satisfied with our decision to hire Pinpoint Painting. Everything went really smooth. They are all very professional and top notch. They took extreme care to make sure the work was high quality and we were happy with the results as well. During the service provider selection phase, Doug was the first one to call me, first one to provide estimate and his prices were very reasonable. He was very easy to work with as a project manager. We pulled out certain portions of projects, like garage, to keep everything under budget and he was very accommodating and responsive. He also lined up a complementary color consultation with a professional free of charge. That was quite helpful for us to fine tune our colors and accent walls. We wanted to make some changes during the middle of the project as didn't like the colors we had selected for our master bedroom and bath. They were very accommodating in making that change. The crew Dan and Jamie were respectful, quality oriented, on time and followed our specific instructions regarding locking the home and security system. We felt at ease leaving them painting while all of us were gone for work/school. Overall it was a hassle free experience with great professional looking results. We couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

Pinpoint was a pleasure to work with. Zach as project manager was very helpful and accessible; on-site staff were all personable and conscientious. We used a total of five colors in various combinations on the property, which they handled well--including three colors on a long row of spindles. The project was finished on time and on budget. I would definitely hire them again, and highly recommend them.

I am thrilled with the results. From the second I made contact with Pinpoint Painting, I knew that I was in good hands. The staff was extremely knowledgeable of the products and helped me with selection of the right stain for the job. We set a date and time, and they were prompt and professional. And the results are simply outstanding. All of my neighbors have been telling me how great the fence looks and it is all because of their hard work. I was most impressed with how studious the and conscious they were of the possibility of stain blowing to my neighbors house. Simply put, when you hire Pinpoint Painting, they are not going to cut corners, they are not going waste your time and they are not going to disappoint you.

Wonderful results owner, Zach, was very knowledgeable and recommended what solid stains would be best for our home owner was very caring and great to work with painter were prompt and careful to not get paint on other surfaces such as screens and pavers very friendly and polite crew completed job in a timely manner very thorough and there were very few areas that needed touching up owner did a complete "walk through" with me and the painters promptly returned to correct the few areas that needed it the best people and painting of our home, by far, in the 6 times we have had it painted.

They came out promptly at the appointed time. Prepared and sent a thorough detailed estimate as promised. The pricing was fair. Unfortunately, due to an emergency need on our part for a new furnace and air conditioner, we have had to put the project on hold. They were very professional and understanding.
