Description of Work: powerwashed & stained our deck. The deal was for a clear stain but Jim recommended tinted stain, based on existing stain and better coverage with tint) so he split the additional cost. The initial work was delayed due to frequent rain but Jim stayed in touch and, once they were able to get started, his team arrived when promised and the work got completed on time and as promised. The deck now looks great!

Description of Work: This was my first experience using an Angie's List Big Deal - Having our deck pressure washed and sealed for $199.00. The deck railing was an additional $100.00. Our deck had been neglected for a number of years so I really had no expectations. Jim is amazing and the deck really looks great. I wish I had thought to take some "before" pictures to show the difference.

I had him out for an estimate and I thought he was inexperienced compared to others. I chose not go with him, but I received a call from him asking if I had made a decision. I told him yes, as I had chosen to go with a company that I felt was more experienced. He responded saying that he knew he was wasting his time because I was asking so many questions during the estimate. I asked a lot of questions to everyone that came out. I felt this was very rude what he said.

I HAD TWO ESTIMATES FOR THE SAME JOB AND HIS QUOTE WAS HALF OF THOSE. MOST IMPORTANTLY HE IS VERY PROMPT AND ALWAYS SHOWED UP WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. HE ALWAYS RETURNED MY CALLS WITHIN TWO DAYS. THE PROFESSIONALISM IS AMAZING AND THE CLEAN UP IS EXCELLENT. CLEANED OFF ALL THE WINDOWS WHERE ANOTHER CONTRACTOR HAD MADE A MESS. ALSO DOES HAVE A LIST OF REFERENCES. I HAVE LIVED IN MY HOME FOR ELEVEN YEARS AND I APPRECIATE THE COMPANIES PROFESSIONALISM. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO CALL THEM AGAIN.
