Very smoothly. Paul and his employees were wonderful to work with. They arrived on time every day, are skilled, hard working, and very respectful and pleasant. They completely gutted the bathroom in my 1920's Colonial and vented the room outside. His prices are lower than many of his competitors yet the quality of work is exceptional. I selected and purchased the materials, leaving the large items on Will Call for him to pick up. He stuck to the quoted price for labor, even with the job going a day and half longer than anticipated...which was due to the detailed tile work I wanted. He provided receipts for the small miscellaneous plumbing items and drywall that were needed during the course of the project. The price listed below includes the materials I purchased. I am extremely happy with my new room and I will definitely hire him again in the very near future!

When I called for an estimate, Paul was out the next day. Other contractors took weeks to respond or never responded at all. Paul's estimate was 1/3 less than the next best estimate. ALL of Paul's employees were polite, courteous and very skilled. They were always right on time in the morning and often worked overtime if the work demanded that. They were so respectful of our house making sure there were drop cloths on the carpets, After the total demolition of the bathroom, not a speck of plaster was any where in the house. They were amazing. The work they did turned out BEAUTIFUL. I would recommend Paul and his crew to anyone and would not hesitate to call him again if we do more remodeling.

Paul Driver's crew tackled a basement bathroom renovation for us, as well as carpeting and painting our basement landing. While the project took a bit longer than expected, Paul's crew was excellent. They always arrived promptly between 8 - 8:30 every day. They also worked on a Saturday to try to finish up the job as close to on-time as is possible. The quality of the work is terrific and they did an excellent job with clean-up! We are very happy with the recommendations for materials that Paul made, as well as some tricks of the trade that he offered up to get us the biggest bang for our buck. In the end, we are very pleased with the finished product! We hope to move from our current house into a new house in the near future. If there's work to be done, we will be calling Paul.

I'm so impressed with the work. i felt the price was right for all the tasks I needed, Paul was very responsive to all my questions and helpful with some of the decisions I needed to make. He updated me every day as it took several days to complete and cleaned up thoroughly. He also has more of an aesthetic eye than I expected so ensured everything looked great - even things i didn't point out but i the end i think it's some of those small things that can make a difference in a room. This was the first time I had work like this done and now my standards are high - I'm getting a new list ready for additional work!

After providing an acceptable quote for the known issues, he encountered hidden defects in the house which required additional work and, in some cases, some very creative solutions. For example, in the living room, the removal of paneling on one wall revealed a badly deteriorated fireplace enclosure. Rather than drywall over the mess, Paul created a stunning new fireplace feature wall with custom mantel. As well, it was discovered that the living room ceiling plaster lath was not well attached to the rafters and the ceiling had to be completely removed and rebuilt. He and his crew handled everything that came up cheerfully and with a constructive attitude. Paul also has enough resources that the entire project was finished in just a matter of weeks, allowing us to have our new tenants in the home just a matter of weeks from when he started. I could not be more pleased with the quality of their work and the terrific result.

Great job and very detailed with a short time frame to get it done between other contractors and a family gathering. Really nice people.

It took a little while to set a date for them to come, because he had some people on vacation, but they did a very good job putting in the doors and fixing the wall and siding. The job was completed very quickly. Once they date was set, they showed up timely.

Provider does not work in Westlake, Ohio although it is Cuyahoga County.

Paul and his team were always on time, very professional, and didn't leave until the job was done and I was completely satisfied. His crew members were respectful and always cleaned up after a day of work. Paul was always very easy to get in touch with when I had questions and overlooked all of the work and stood by it as our duplex was getting work done. I would definitely recommend Paul and his crew and I plan of using their services here in a few weeks. They are affordable, fair, and can be trusted with your home. -Brittany-

The paint was pealing on my dining room ceiling. It is a vaulted ceiling, with nothing above it except for unfinished attic space. I called Paul Driver because he had done some work on my basement last year that I was very happy with, and emailed him a photo of the ceiling. He called me back within 24 hours of the initial call (even though it was Sunday) and he and a couple members of his crew came out a few days later to take a look. After looking at the ceiling from the dining room and in the attic and going up on the roof, they figured out that a single roof shingle was damaged by a tree branch, causing a small, localized leak that was soaking through the insulation in the attic, wetting the plaster, and causing the paint to peel. They fixed the damaged shingle, took out the wet insulation, and scraped the ceiling that day, then came back the next day to repaint the ceiling and replace the small piece of insulation they had to remove. While they were there they also replaced a leaking faucet in my kitchen sink. The dining room and kitchen sink look great. I was very pleased at how quickly they were able to come out and make repairs. I was also relieved that the problem wasn't bigger -- which they easily could have said that it was. Paul is a straight shooter, and he and his guys are always friendly and professional.

I messaged this provider on Angie's List and received a fairly quick reply indicating that he could not see Angie's List attachments (I did not include any attachments but OK). The provider requested that I text his cell phone and we agreed that he would come out for an estimate on porch repainting/repair in Lakewood on Friday 5/19/15 at 1PM. My girlfriend had restructured her day so she could be home for the contractor, but after about 90 minutes she contacted me at work to let me know that he had not shown up. I had no calls/e-mails/texts for the contractor so I texted him, but got no response. Unless something MAJOR happened, a courtesy call/e-mail/text to reschedule would have been nice. As it stands, I don't even have an explanation for why he didn't show.

Paul Driver and co. were recommended to us by a colleague who has used their services for a variety of home remodeling, handyman and repair jobs. I first approached Mr. Driver in the fall of 2014 to discuss a proposal for remodeling an small attic-level bathroom (with a clawfoot tub, pedestal sink and toilet). Due to the oncoming winter, we both agreed that we would revisit the issue in the spring of 2015, which we did. Mr. Driver and an assistant came to check out the bathroom in March 2015 and composed plans for a bid. He took into account my need to complete the bathroom relatively economically and suggested fixtures and floor and wall-tile that were attractive without being particularly expensive. Due to their and my own busy schedule, the work did not begin until May. The final product was completely satisfactory and an outstanding value for the price ($3600) which included labor and materials, but did not include the cost of several of the fixtures (sink, faucet, new tub faucet, bathroom accessory hardware such as towel rack and toilet-paper holder) that I purchased myself. The crew led by Craig worked for approximately 4 days to: 1) Tile the floor; 2) install and wire a new GFCI outlet and exhaust ventilator (neither of which had been in the bathroom before) and tie the ventilator into an existing venting line in the attic; they also installed a new ceiling light; 3) Partially tile the walls to create an attractive surround for the clawfoot tub, which was very heavy and needed to be temporarily moved; 3) Install sink, toilet and other bathroom hardware including a new telephone faucet for the tub; 4) Skimcoat rough areas on the walls and ceiling and 5) Paint and finish the walls and some wood trim. As stated above, the work was outstanding, the crew were great, carried out daily cleanups and left the work area immaculate (including vacuuming their route of ingress/egress) each day. All construction and project debris were hauled away and they left essentially no scrap behind. They worked with us to make small changes and decisions on the fly to get the bathroom to look the way we wanted it to look. In the end, they turned what had been a worn-out eyesore into an attractive and usable bathroom. Wish I had found this company years ago.

I contacted Paul Driver due to the large number of positive revies on angies list. I wanted to get a quote for 3 jobs one of which was installing ceramic tile in the kitchen. Appointment was made for him to come out on Saturday 4-4 but he never showed or gave me a call. I tried calling him and all I got was his voicemail which I must say his message was not very professional. It didn't even include his name or the name of the company.

I had to part ways with another contractor and the work on my house had stalled. I was very happy to find Paul and his crew as they were very attentive andresponsive. Knowing how long my house had been "in construction," Paul sent over several people to knockout a lot of tasks at once. Paul worked hard to stay within my budget and find deals on tile, paint, etc. My house looks great and I am very happy with the work.

It was a timely service. The price was absolutely right. He designed a fix for me that was permanent and well done. I recommend him to others. He made me priority, even though it was not a large job. I will use him again. He was very professional; he presented a quote to me that was a lot less than I expected.

Paul responded to my email request immediately and asked me to call him the next morning. We talked the next morning and Paul said he could be at the house between 2 and 4pm. He arrived at the house at 2:30pm. My wife was home and Paul said he could do the work right then. After the threshold was installed, my wife mentioned a light switch we were having problems with. Paul said he could fix that immediately as well. My wife said Paul and his two men he had with him were very professional and it was obvious they all knew what they we're doing. Basically, we could not be happier with the quality of the work and with the we were treated. I would definitely call Paul for more work at the house and I can recommend him highly. Absolutely wonderful! Paul and his crew did great work - very efficient, prompt and considerate. We have an older worker bungalow in Ohio City so this was not an easy job, but it turned out clean and straight. Paul made suggestions that worked perfectly and made my ideas happen! His guys clearly love their work. We will definitely "Call Paul" again as there always seems to be some thing needing done, lol!

He went over the time I was expecting, however, this weather has been horrendous and I really understand that it had a greaat deal to do with the amount of time to complete the project.

MUST READ !!!! I have been selling building materials for the past 15 years and deal with builders and contractors all day long. I had 4 guys come over and give me quotes for the work we needed done that where referred to me by my customers. I decided to get a couple more quotes and turned to Angie's List and this is where I found Paul. Right from the start, my wife and I knew Paul was the correct guy for the job from his professionalism and knowledge of the industry. I did not tell any of the contractors that quoted us that I was in the building materials business to see what they would say. I am sad to report that a few of them tried selling us things that we did not need ( water proofing, new electrical box, new furnace,) A few even told us that certain building materials could not be used in basements ( total lie) Paul and his team do tremendous work and are very professional. Like clock work they where at our house every morning at 8:00. My wife and I cant say enough good things about them. They went above and beyond with everything they did and added things as the project when on ( WITH NO ADDITIONAL COST) One Funny Example is, I walked out my back door and noticed I had a flat tire on my car. I went next door to grab my neighbors pump and when I got back (5 minutes) the tire was already filled with air for me to drive it up to get fixed. Paul told me he was the king of "add ons" the first time we met and I can say this is the case. He added suggestions as the project went on and we took his advice and we could not be happier.....I come from an Irish Catholic family and I have already sent an email to my 200 family members letting them know to now go anywhere else but Paul and his crew........ Don't make a mistake

It went great! Paul came by for the initial estimate on time and explained what his team would be able to do and the time frame for the remodel. After we scheduled the remodel, he came by again (on a Sunday because that was the only time we could do it) to go over tile choices with us. When we discovered the opening for a recessed medicine cabinet, he was very responsive to the project change and worked with his team to devise a plan to move the electric occupying the space in the most efficient manner possible. They finished on time and on budget. We are very happy with the results and are already thinking of outdoor projects for Paul and his team for the summer!
