He was on time, and after gutting our basement, scraped all of the paint off of the walls. He painted the basement, and when we asked for another coat, he did so without complaint. He and his crew were extremely hard-working, and very pleasant to deal with. . Our basement was spotless by the time they were done.

Our radon reduction system on the outside of our house was damaged by the wind. I spent all morning trying to get someone in Radon Mitigation to my house for the repair and no one was able to help (not answering the phone, not returning calls, not willing to touch it because they didn't put it in, etc) Paul was very willing to help. He came immediately and completed the work within a couple of hours. What a relief!!

We had a list of nine jobs that needed to be done around our rental house. I called a left a message. I received a call from Paul Driver and told him that I would send him an email message describing what we would like done. We never heard from him again.

After failing a CMHA inspection on a rental property that I own, I needed repairs done right and fast. Paul was responsive, honest in what I needed to fix and what could wait (like me deciding to change out materials on the porch railing to something more expensive since I liked the look better and opting to replace the roof now versus later but Paul was great at laying out all of my options with cost in mind), he also budget in mind and instead of painting all walls in a room he recommended to paint just the wall with damage to save me money. He let me know how bad the damage was on everything, like the bathroom pipe leaking and lacking insulation. He only charged me for materials, not additional labor of special tasks since he had enough guys on the job. Keep in mind he didn't have to do this as this wasn't in our original scope of projects. He would have his team fix/ take small burdens of repairs off of me to ensure I would pass inspection, like broken kitchen drawers or outside GFIC outlets. Not only was Paul and his team quick (they knocked all of this out in under a week) but they were courteous to my tenant and her work schedule, they were humorous and kind and really seemed proud of the work they did. I finally feel like I have found my handyman team in Cleveland and wouldn't call anyone else in the future. I love these guys so much that I bought them doughnuts and coffee for coming out on Sat. morning in the cold to finish the job. I'm so pleased and grateful for how trustworthy, reliable and cost-effective Paul and his team were. He's the last of a dying breed and my go-to guy in the future. Thanks a million, buddy!

Crew of four arrived when they stated that they would be out. Removed the rotten wood and did the frame work for the new deck, Cleaned up and removed all the old materials. Within a day and a half were completed with the projects. Very pleased with his services performed and will be employing him again for another project thqt we have. I certainly would recommend his services for handy man work. He understood our projects immediately and his recommendations were right on the money. He was resonable and fairly priced . The deck looks great and that is what matters.

We cannot say enough positive things about Paul and his crew. They are extremely thorough and do excellent work. Paul communicated with us throughout the whole project and finished the work well within the expected time frame. The previous tenant had been there for ten years, and Paul ensured that when they were done working, the apartment was ready to be put up for rent. It looks great! Paul is the first one we call when we need anything done-he does it all, and it is done right the first time. We highly recommend Paul Driver for all your construction and handyman needs.

Paul and his crew were magnificent. I located Paul via Angie's list and after reading all his reviews decided to call him for a quote. I am so glad I did! He was polite, professional, and very responsive right from the get go. His estimate was great and he even came back to the house with the tile and accent tile so we could view it in person. Once the materials were ordered he confirmed the date work would begin and kept me apprised of the schedule each day. By end of the first day all demo was completed, the window was installed, and the 2 fans were vented. They worked quickly and efficiently. Paul and his crew were maticulous in ensuring my house was clean, leaving no traces of debris. They laid down blankets across the carpet by each entry door they used and hung up a blanket next to the tile saw to ensure no extra dust was left in the basement. This was all part of their normal operation, I didn't even have to ask! In their coming and going through the front door the crew noticed the handle was coming loose and took it upon themselves to fix it for us. It was so thoughtful. I also asked them to look at the toilet upstairs as water droplets were starting to leak from the base and they were able to resolve the issue for me with no extra cost. I really could not have been happier start to finish! If you are looking for quality work I most definitely recommend Paul for any project. We plan to give his business cards to co-workers looking to do a remodel and I already asked him to give me a quote for new custom size screen doors that need to be replaced.

He and his crew arrived on time and were very conscientious and polite. They always took the next step - for instance when I asked them to paint a light post in the front yard, they cleaned out the globe that was full of spider webs. We had taken down an outdoor window shutter that was falling apart and it was in the garage. They fixed it and rehung it without even mentioning it! After painting a room, they replaced any light bulbs that were burned out. I can't say enough about what a terrific job they have done every time they have been at my house.

He never ended up responding to multiple phone calls and never showed up. I was disappointed with their lack of response after making arrangements for the work to be done.

The project went perfectly. Paul and all of the men who work with him are professional, conscientious, and polite. They arrived and got to work on time. The project included many elements, but they were organized and knew exactly what needed to be done. They did excellent work. Even more, they asked questions if there was any doubt about what needed to be done. To top it off, they thoroughly cleaned the house when the job was completed, something that is a rarity in construction. Because of their fine work, Paul and his crew are busy, so they might not always be immediately available. If you have to wait a few weeks, do so. You'll have peace of mind in knowing that you'll get quality work, reasonable prices, and a professional crew.

1931 New ceiling, dry wall installed, and stuccoed. Looks Great. Walls were plastered and painted. Gutters cleaned and chimney cap installed.

Paul did an excellent job. I would hire him again in a minute. He was easy to get ahold of and always returned my calls promptly. He was polite and professional. The quality of his work was terrific. The post looks great and so does the painting and everything else. He was easy to work with, flexible and completed the work when he said he would. With other contractors, I have had to wait a long time for them to get back with me or get me scheduled. But Paul made an big effort get the job done!!

Vey well, showed up on time, if it wasn't for rain, job would have been done in one day. It took 1 1/4 days. They replaced all the furniture on the deck, where it belonged. Paul pointed out where they were going to place the seams, and you barely notice them. He also made sure lumber was premium grade. He is in process of pricing out rails and getting back to me

This is the second time that we have had Paul and the guys do a major job on our house (see kitchen/bathroom reviews). This time around, it was to completely replace the original front porch on our two story colonial (1928), as well as repair the roof and ceiling. After much consultation with Paul over style and materials, It was agreed that we would use stained pressure treated lumber instead of the composite deck boards. Paul had done another porch with these materials in our neighborhood, and we drove over to have a look at it to get a better idea of the finished look. The materials were staged in a day in advance of the actual start date to speed up the actual construction process. The old porch was demolished and carted away on the first day, and the new foundation posts were set, and well as some of the major framing. The new deck and the railings were completed on the second day. It was decided to repair the old ceiling (which was sagging in the middle) and install vinyl and new aluminum sheathing instead of just painting over the old. Although this added another couple of days to the project, it was a worthwhile addition when completed. A new skirt was built and installed, instead of the traditional lattice. Paul also repaired the original steps (brick and sandstone) instead of building a new set, which helped keep the original look, as well as holding costs down. After the actual construction had ended, the entire porch and railings were powerwashed to prep for staining. We then waited for the Monsoon Season to end (it rained for 13 days straight) to give the new porch sufficient time to dry out for staining. A moderate base coat of stain was put on, with another top coat to follow in a month or so. Paul and the guys did their normal OUTSTANDING job of being here on time, cleaning up all the debris at days end, and promptly answering all our questions. Even if Paul was not present on site at times, he was always available to answer questions and keep us updated on progress. Although this project took a much longer time to complete than anticipated, the weather (not Paul) was the major factor in the delays. The completed project was well worth the wait. We now have a new porch which blends with the original style of the house, (is sturdy enough to park a truck on), and will be easy to maintain. Our thanks to Gino, Craig, and Tim for doing a super job on this project. .

Paul and his crew were professional, friendly, and did a great job. They built a new railing for our second-floor porch to replace the rotting, falling-apart one. The new railing looks great. They also rerouted our bathroom fan, which previously vented to the attic instead of outside. Overall, I'm very happy with their work and the price. Furthermore, I was impressed with how quickly Paul was able to schedule this work, especially during the busy summer months. I called Paul for the first time on Monday, he came out to do an estimate on Tuesday, and completed the work on Thursday. Very pleased and I hope to have him do more work in the future!

I called him on 8/5/13 and we scheduled an appointment for the next day for him to give me a quote on a large job consisting of many smaller projects. He was supposed to be at my house between 2-4 p.m. Paul did not show and no call to reschedule.

Called Paul last week and left a message. He got back to me right away and came out to look at it the next day. (He would have looked at it the same day but I wasn't available). The work was completed a couple of days later and it looks great! Paul and his crew were prompt and professional, and they cleaned up the whole area upon completion of the job. We are very happy with their work and will definitely use them in the future.

Called Paul yesterday and he arrived this morning at 11:00 with two of his crew. The job took a couple of hours. They did an excellent job replacing the pieces of laminate my dogs had destroyed when they were puppies.... Paul and his crew were very friendly and I am very pleased with the whole experience. I highly recommend Paul and will definitely be using him in the future. It's nice to know there is a handyman who knows what he is doing, charges a fair price and will call you back!

he was very good. he was very busiy so i had to wait a little. He was punctual, he did everything very well.

I initially contacted Paul through Angie's List for an estimate on this remodel project. He got back to me promptly and came out to give an estimate on the job. I told him what I needed done in the bathroom and he was extremely helpful in making additional suggestions. He gave me some options to consider that I had not thought of, and then actually took the time to meet us at Home Depot to select fixtures and look at flooring samples. He called us later to let us know about a better bathtub he had found at Lowes. The work was started on the date agreed, and the guys were always there when they said they would be. Paul, Gino, and Craig worked well as a team, and were always very courteous and friendly. The tear out was a major mess (as was expected), but the work area was isolated from the rest of the house to keep dust and debris to an absolute minimum. They cleaned up everything at the end of the day, and shop vac'd the entire area before leaving. Although they had another job to start (we exceeded the original time estimate by a couple days due to the additional drywall work), they did not rush this project and made sure everything was done correctly. I plan on using Paul again in the near future on another upgrade to the house. The bottom line on Paul Driver? Good workmanship, reasonable pricing, competent staff, great service, and available to answer any questions. Definitely a "A" rating overall from us!

Paul and his crew came on time at 8am everyday, they replaced the walls and tile in the bathroom, along with the fixtures, and gave me a whole new bathroom. They were so nice, thorough, and made sure to cleaned up everyday. They did a teriffic job, I will hire them again and recommend to friends.

I had a steady drip coming through my kitchen ceiling with no idea of the source. I called a bunch of handymen in hopes of finding someone that could come over ASAP to investigate. Paul was one of the people that got back to me promptly and was able to come over that day. Another handyman arrived first assessed the situation and determined that the leak was coming from the balcony above the ceiling and quoted me $2500 to replace the balcony. Paul arrived that evening and disagreed that it was the balcony. He thought it might be a plumbing issue and wanted to come back the following morning with his team to take a better look by making a small hole in a concealed area. 20 minutes later Paul and his team had determined that the leak was actually coming from a radiator above the kitchen with a loose bolt. What a relief! I was about to replace my whole balcony and it wouldn't even have fixed the problem. Paul came twice and his crew once and he only charged me a nominal fee for his trouble.s His team was professional and friendly. They even took the time to take a look at my boiler, and Paul called me back with the name of a guy who could service my radiators annually.

He came over the day before, looked over the job, gave me a price and said he would be back the next day at a certin time. They showed up at the time they said they would and did the job perfectly. Very pleased. Would hire him again.
