I was looking for a mason to tuck point the porch stairs and tuck point or possibly rebuild the chimney on my home. I was in the midst of selling the home; the stair/chimney combined quote was a contingency from the home inspection. The schedule was tight and I had spoken with four or five masons about the job. In addition, the weather was not cooperating for mason work and I needed an expert opinion on how to proceed. Of all the people I spoke with, Pat Palmieri was by far the most helpful and prompt with his detailed phone and email replies. He went to the property the same day that we first spoke, returned the next day to follow up on something we'd forgotten, and spoke with me multiple times via phone and email. He was honest, friendly, professional, and helpful in a situation where he was not being guaranteed any payment. I will definitely pass his name on to my own friends and family.

Palmieri Masonry (Pat Palmieri) was very responsive and fast on giving a quote. His price was a little bit higher than Richard Nowicki’s, but still very good.

He answered my call immediately. They were out quick, started the job soon after. Just very responsive. The tuck pointing looked good to me and passed inspections.

Did a great job and I give him my highest recommendation, especially for older houses that need a good eye and a craftsman's skills.

mr palmieri was very quick to get back to me, came out as planned, patiently awaited my approval as i looked to get other estimates, there was some confusion on when he was going to start the project, but, was probably my misunderstanding, but once project was started, very satisfied with the results...also the only person out of 6 to notice my front steps were in need of some quick attention, which he also did very nice job on.

Pat was responsive and inspected brick a few days after my call. We discussed different options with varying costs, and he recommended lowest-cost option, which I happily agreed to. Service was done in timely manner.

My call was promptly returned and Pat, the owner, came out to give me an estimate. The work was done well and in a timely manner. Pat " pushed" to get the job done by the date needed requiring him to work in 100 degree weather! I feel he went beyond good customer service and his work and price were excellent. He also pointed out some additional work needed on my chimney which I will ask him to do once the temperature cools!

This is one of the best companies I have dealt with -- ever. If anyone needs concrete work or masonry, Palmieri Masonry has to be the best in the area. This is the second time we have used the company. Pat Palmieri came by to give us an estimate the morning after I called and completed the work the following morning. As with the first time, he was as friendly, helpful, and professional as one could ever ask for. While he was here, I noticed a small area of the front steps which needed some mortar and asked if he could fix that and just add it on to his invoice. When I looked at his invoice, I saw that he charged only the original estimate and did not add anything extra. We plan to use Palmieri Masonry for future work and recommend that Angie's List subscribers do the same.

Pat did an EXCELLENT job on our 100 year old red brick house. He is very skilled, personable, and quite willing to share his knowledge. He was able to repair a crmbling brick wall on our garage with our own bricks and some older matching. Also did an excellect job in tuckpointing and was able to match the color of the mortar. The repair looks almost invisible. He saved our garage!

Mr. Palmieri returned my call the same day and came out to do the repairs as scheduled the following week. He recommended some additional tuckpointing near a door, which the City didn't notice; and he also made a suggestion that one part of the work wait until the spring to avoid cracking and other wear and tear which will happen in the winter. The price for the work was very reasonable. It was a pleasure dealing with Mr. Palmieri and his assistant, and I would highly recommend this company.

quick response for a bid. once bid was approved, it only took about 2 weeks for the them to start on the job. the job was completed within a few hours. my renters said that it and quot;looks greatand quot;. this company was the ONLY MASONRY company that replied to me for a bid.

They were knowledgeable and were able to work within our timeframe. They were reasonable in price and were a pleasure to work with. We'd recommend them again and again!

Pat was very professional and honest. Quality of work is very well done. Installed new footers and steps with sandstone risers.

Started off great. Pat was on-time. It was pouring that morning and he stood in the rain and inspected the steps and the foundation carefully. He was very nice and genuinely seemed interested in the job. Before he got in his car, he said, "and don't worry, I'll call in a couple of days with an estimate." Unfortunately, he never called. I called him about 1 week later and left a message to remind him, but still no return call. If he didn't want to do the job, I would have just appreciated a call anyway. I don't think there is anything wrong with saying you're not interested, but to leave me hanging is not very professional.

CARMEN PALMIERI RESPONDED QUICKLY TO REQUEST FOR ESTIMATE WITH ALTERNATE CONTACT, AS HE WAS OUT OF TOWN. HE MET ME ONSITE ON A SATURDAY WAS PROMPT, PLEASANT AND PROFESSIONAL. HE UNDERBID A COMPETITOR S BID BY OVER 15% . WHILE NOT A MEMBER OF THE BBB THERE WERE NO FILED COMPLAINTS. I WROTE CONTRACT ADDENDUMS TO CONFIRM DETAILS DISCUSSED NOT EXPLICITLY WRITTEN. MR. PALMIERI GLADLY SIGNED OFF ON THE DETAIL OF HOW AND WHEN WORK WAS TO BE PERFORMED. HE COMPLETED WORK AHEAD OF SCHEDULE, AND STAYED ON THE JOB FOR QUICK COMPLETION. MR. PALMIERI WENT TO THE SHAKER HTS. BUILDING DEPARTMENT TO OBTAIN THE REQUIRED PERMIT, AND WHEN THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT WAIVED THE PERMIT, HE OBTAINED WRITTEN DOCUMENTATION OF THE WAIVER. HE WAITED AN EXTRA DAY WITHOUT COMPLAINT FOR FINAL PAYMENT, SO I COULD OBTAIN CITY INSPECTION OF THIS POINT OF SALE VIOLATION. THE INSPECTOR FOUND NO DEFECTS IN THE WORKMANSHIP. I AM A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER AND WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY WITHOUT HESITATION.
