With a lot of help from my husband, they were able to replace the rotted boards. However, in the process they unbolted a cast iron balcony, weighing about 500, without properly supporting it. As a result it could not be reattached to the house. This posed a safety hazard and we had to contact a cast iron company to reattach the balcony at a cost to us of $950. Kirby's crew also broke a leaded window on the dormer and left the repair to us. I am still trying to retrieve our can of paint, which he took with the understanding that he would come back and complete the painting of a portion of the dormer that was missed.
Description of Work: Kirby and his crew were contracted to replace and paint some rotted decorative boards on our brick Normandy home. He was also suppose to paint all the trim on the third floor dormer. We supplied the wood for the project (becuase Kirby couldn't find good cedar) and my husband cut it to size for him. Kirby then mounted and painted it. Per our original contract, he was also supposed to remove a plant from our chimmney but then said he couldn't do it.
