They are very knowledgeable and I have confidence in what they are doing. Their treatments are effective and they are very friendly as well. I would definitely recommend them.

When I called into Orkin, the lady at the sales department was very nice, didn't try to upsell me some crazy package... she gave me one deal, basically a one time fee of $260 and then $99 every 2 months (basically $850 for the whole year) and they would come out and spray for 20-something different kind of bugs every 60 days. This was very close in cost compared to other companies. I also liked that this company came out more often than other pest control companies in my area. They were able to get someone out to my house within just a few days. The man that came to our house was very nice and knowledge. I followed him around so that if he saw something that drew his attention, he could let me know, and he most certainly did. He pointed out a few spots that we should close up or watch that we hadn't noticed before. He sprayed some kind of dust like substance throughout the house and then a liquid around the parameter. The only thing I wasn't too happy with was that the lady at customer service asked me if he would need a ladder to reach the 2nd floor on the outside and I said yes, but he didn't use a ladder and didn't spray around the outside windows on our 2nd floor... which are where are bedrooms are. I think I've noticed quite a bit of difference of bugs on the inside of the home, but I still do see them every now and then... but the guy did say they can't rid them 100%! I'm hoping that having them come out for the next year will help too.

When we first moved in, we had ants so we called them for that. We then signed up for them to come out every 2 months for spraying inside and outside. We have found that this helps and we don't have any problems anymore. I do think the cost is a little pricey but it's well worth it.

Last spring we had a large amount of ants in our kitchen. We called Orkin for help with removal and prevention for the following year. With one treatment we saw a major difference. Each technician (we had a different one each time) pointed out potential trouble spots and was helpful in treating our home and the surrounding landscape. One time a technician arrived without advance notice and we had to rush home from work to meet him. Otherwise, everything was fine.

We interviewed a couple companies and my husband liked the plan Orkin had the best of all of them. They are very professional. I thought their prices were high but they delivered what they promised. The guy was wonderful. They gave us a couple of tips on how to control it on our own and I thought that was nice. The service started at the end of one year and ended at the beginning of another.

I have used them before, but it seems the pricing has gone up. I had a small wasp nest on the outside above the bedroom. I had this happen once before at place I lived before and a small one becomes a big one very fast. He came out used his poll and spray the nest, kill it and remove it. Then spray around the inside and outside of the house to makes sure there was nothing else in the home. He call when he was on his way and on time and nice. Overall did a very good job.

Every late spring and when we close down our Ohio home for 3-4 weeks in the summer we saw an increase in the large black ants. 2011 is no exception. The large black ants appeared. What was different in 2011. As I write this report, the roof (April 14, 2011) and siding (now) are being repalce. As such, the constant pounding and the 4" of rain this month seems to increase the ants activity. Orkin to the recsue. Bill is our technician. He is personable, knowledgeable and always punctual. Bill expains what he is doing and why. FYI...If you have a pet(s), I suggest putting them in their cage/pin or keep an eye on them until the solution dries. Bill uses a powder mix as well. 2010, we were on the bi-monthly extermination plan (6-treatments) for the same price. After the second treatment, we did not see any ants or any other bug inside the house. Exceptional servive...and It WORKS :=)

They looked at the house, inside and out. The price was reasonable are very responsive and give good tips. They also come out if I notice anything else that I need. They sprayed all over and took care of the problem. I also have them scheduled every month for a full year.

They did a good job for us! Bill started out by checking the entire house, inside and out. He gave us a course of treatment. He was very good at communicating and would come out the same day we called for any reason.

I like that Orkin provides not only extermination, but also they are detective and preventative of the problem. When dealing with the mice problem in my home, the last agency I used simply put out mouse traps. Orkin actually identifies where the mice are coming in and blocks the entrance.

This price is what I pay every other month. I am very happy with their service. They will come out in between visits if necessary at no extra charge. The man even gave me his cell phone number to call. I will definitely continue to use them in the future and would recommend them to others.

I am very pleased with our tech. He comes on time and is very thorough. He always puts plastic on his shoes before entering and is very professional. Sometimes during the summer, we will have to have them come out between appointments if needed and they have always obliged. 90% of the time we never see any bugs. When we do start seeing them, it's because their appointment is due. Their product is odorless and safe for pets.

Overall our experience was acceptable. The technician was friendly and the follow ups have been timely. My only dissatisfaction was with the original treatment. They were not on time and I ended up having to miss a whole day of work instead of 1/2 day. It would have been helpful also if the service had left some written follow up instructions - we were unsure whether to vacuum immediately and often or wait for several days for the treatment to settle/dry.
