Overall, they did good work. The system has turned out to cost more to run than we were lead to believe. The price for the system was good. It was difficult getting things to work right, but eventually did. It has been difficult to get them over to look at the system since it was completed.

The project was a disaster. The system was poorly designed and shabbily installed, resulting in inadequate heating, spotty cooling, and multiple problems such as leaky valves, ceiling leaks, and broken equipment. Recently, when I had to have yet another failed blower motor replaced, the technician told me that the motor installed by NorthCoast Geothermal, Inc. couldn't have come direct from the factory because there were screws missing and some screws used which couldn't have been the original ones. Furthermore, there were many violations in our system, including venting of "hot water on demand heaters" up the chimney (which is illegal), and a condensate line left to drain in the walls. I have spent a whole year paying a reputable company considerable money to clean up the mess.
