+ -1 moreTHIS CHAIR WAS COVERED IN THE WORST SHADE OF GREEN PAINT, WHICH OVERLAYED OTHER LAYERS OF PAINT, INCLUDING ORANGE. AFTER THEY STRIPPED IT, A COUPLE OF MINUTE SPECKS OF COLOR WERE STILL VISIBLE IN SMALL DEEP CREVICES, BUT THE CHAIR LOOKED GREAT AFTER THEY CLEANED IT. IT LOOKED SO GOOD THAT I CHANGED MY PLANS TO PAINT IT. THE PROPRIETOR HAD IDENTIFIED THE WOOD AS OAK (''THEY DON'T MAKE THEM LIKE THIS ANYMORE''), SO I STAINED IT TO BRING UP THE GRAIN. ANOTHER THING I LIKE ABOUT THIS COMPANY IS THAT THEY EMPLOY DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED PEOPLE. THEY ALSO ADD A SMALL SURCHARGE TO THE PRICE IN ORDER TO COVER THE COST OF DISPOSING OF THE PAINT-REMOVING SOLVENTS IN AN ENVIRONMENTALLY SOUND WAY. IT IS DEFINITELY WORTH IT.
Description of Work: THEY STRIPPED PAINT OFF AN OAK KITCHEN CHAIR THAT I HAD TRIED AND FAILED TO STRIP MYSELF. THEY CLEANED OFF SEVERAL LAYERS OF PAINT, LEAVING A SMOOTH FINISH.

+ -1 moreTHEY SAVED US SO MUCH TIME!! YOU DROP OFF WHATEVER IT IS YOU NEED STRIPPED OF PAINT AND IT IS DONE IN LESS THAN A WEEK. OUR EXTERIOR DOOR WAS DONE IN A DAY! THEY DID EXCELLENT WORK AND WERE VERY CONVENIENT EXCEPT THEY DO NOT WORK WEEKENDS.
Description of Work: THEY STRIPPED AND SANDED THREE 90 YEAR OLD EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR DOORS.
