Went very well. The work quoted was the work performed and then some. I was really impressed with his employees and the quality of their work. I would recommend Nick and his team without any reservations.

Overall it went very well. Crew came in and had foundation excavated within 2 days down below footer, exposing old clay pipe drain tiles. The next several days were spent removing old tiles, jetting out entire system, camera inspection and conneccting new pvc pipe. This included adding a vertical cleanout "tee" in each corner of the house. The foundation walls were cleaned and inspected, completely sealed with a roll on type masonry sealer, and the entire trench was backfilled to within 16" of surface with gravel, then topped off with top soil. The job also included removing a 12 foot section of my patio pavers before excavating. When job was complete, patio pavers were replaced. Also, Nick replaced roughly a 20' section of a "flat" sanitary line while they were here.

He did a good job, he did it in the timeframe promised and there were no problems.

The two gentlemen that did the work were nice and cleaned up as well as could be expected after this job. There was a large amount of dust from this project. Nick was very communicative with me during the project, which I appreciated. He let me know what they were finding along the way. I would recommend NB Enterprises and I am actually waiting for an estimate for basement waterproofing, so I hope to use them again in the future.

He recommended I call a plumber first to have the sewer lines cleaned after details from me about where the water was coming from. I thought he was very nice and helpful and his advice did solve the problem! If I did have a problem, I think I would call him back. He was honest and really seemed to know what he was talking about.

Nick came by initially and surveyed the area, inside and out. He sent us a written estimate via email, explaining the work that needed to be done and acknowledged that his crew would not know the full extent of the problem until the area was excavated. (We had previously had the pipes scoped, so we already had a basic idea.) The crew worked tirelessly, arriving early each morning and leaving in the evening. It was a complicated and difficult job, and they handled everything in a professional manner. They were friendly and efficient. Nick explained things well and was always polite and available when we had questions. When they were finished with the job, they cleaned everything up. Soon after the job was done we had a major rainstorm, and our basement was completely dry.

Overall we were very happy with the work. They started the project when they said they would. The workers were very polite to us and our neighbors. The weather was relatively good during or job so it went faster than expected. We did have some minor things that needed repaired when the job was over and they were not discovered until after the final payment had been made. While it did take them a while to get back to fix them everything was put back in place good as new. Again, we are very happy we chose to go with NB Enterprises for this project.

We had a home renovation loan as part of the home purchase so lots of paperwork had to be completed even before work began. Mr. Berardi was very willing to work with our unusually situation and he filed all of the paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.

I was very pleased with their work and their estament turned out to be the best estimate there was almost $1000 difference between what the other company s said and they did even more around the house. When the other company gave me the estimate it was just for the corner of the basement that was leaking and N B Enterprise said it would be better if I did the whole basement not just the corner that was leaking because I could have trouble with the rest of the basement at sometime. My house is 90 years old so when I asked for an estimate on the whole house it was $1000 cheaper then the other company said and they were just going to do the corner that was leaking. They were very professional and thorough. They explained to me what they would be doing. After the work was done he came out and made sure that I was happy with the work. I have recommended them to others and I will use them again.

They did very good work. They were hard workers. The work is pretty newly done so we are still holding out to see if it is going to leak. I would recommend them though.

Nick is punctual, professional, and very knowledgeable about waterproofing. He was my second pick and it was a difficult decision! He's very communicative and provides great references. I would have felt confident using his company.

Nick is very personable and has a knowledgeable and hard working crew. We were very impressed with the care of the surrounding areas which included removing and replacing all of the landscaping that had to be moved. They even hosed down the deck and the furniture. When the job was done you would have never known that any work was done. We would not hesitate to have them back or recommend them.

It took a while to get service, but they did a good, quick job. Nick (the owner) did the estimate, stopped by during the work, and stopped by afterward to check on our satisfaction. Very pleased with the job. Would highly recommend this company.

We were extremely pleased with our experience with this company. We had a major problem with water coming into our basement, which was getting worse, rendering the finished basement unusable. Nick was prompt in providing the estimate, which was very reasonable based on 3 other estimates obtained. He closely supervised the work and provided us with updates throughout the process. The job ended up being more involved because he discovered that the slate patio had an 18inch concrete base below requiring extensive work to remove it so that they could dig down to the foundation. Once everything was opened up, and repaired, he also found out that the drainage to the street was also blocked up. He coordinated with the plumbing company to have those pipes opened up. Our basement is now completely dry and we have reclaimed an important family living space. It was well worth the price!

Our basement leaked. We talked NB Enterprises, 1 other firm that did exterior waterproofing and 1 that did interior drainage systems (we learned through research it is NOT waterproofing). Nick was very knowledgeable in our initial meeting. We felt most comfortable with him, and his price was comparable with the other exterior waterproofing firm. He worked with us on scheduling because we were having other work done on our house as well. Once the work started, Nick called to say that the house was waterproofed already. He said our leak may have been because we had problems with our old gutters, which we replaced about this same time. He suggested patchwork to address damage the water issues had caused. Because Nick was honest and we did patchwork rather than full waterproofing, our cost was less than a quarter of what the full waterproofing would have cost. We are very grateful! Nick gets an A on professionalism but the firm got a B because the workers were a bit bossy to my babysitter.

We bought a Solon home with knowledge of water damage and possible structural issues with back basement wall. Thus, it was part of our negotiations. We had used Nick at our old home and felt he did a solid job. We had 3 companies bid on this job. Nick was not the lowest bid (as he had been on our previous house) but it was competitive and included more work than the other contractors included. He also saw, understood and explained the work that needed to be done the best of the 3. Communication was clear throughout and his crew did what we contracted them to do.

Nick answered our inquiring call promptly. He kept his appt with us. He arrived promptly. We received a phone call notifying us that work was to begin a few days beforehand. The Workers were hardworking, knowledgeable, polite, paid attention to details, efficient and cleaned up after the job was completed. Nick surveyed the work site daily. We look forward to to our basement drying out and renovations beginning!

From the very beginning, Nick was a very good contractor to work with. On his first visit, we walked the property and discussed what should be done and how it would be executed. He never once pushed me to have the work done or put any pressure to make a quick decision. Once the job was started, he was available for interactive discussion. During the process, I was able to get my gas line replaced (Nick recommended the person to do it and that was a great success - the gas company even came out and replaced all 7 gas meters). The job did change through the process and Nick was fair on renegotiating terms. We had to add front stairs, and even dug out an area that we had not planned on doing. Overall the experience was one of the best that I have ever had with a contractor, which was a good thing since it was such a big job. I recommended NB Enterprises to a friend. He used them as well after have spent several months researching many companies.

Best to call him at 8:00 in the morning when he personally takes calls. Nick sets up a time to come out for an estimate, and really takes time to explain what he'll do. He gives an approximate timetable, then calls to let you know exactly when he'll start as the time gets closer. He was $2000 less than my other estimate and guarantees his work. The crew worked quickly with a minimum of mess.

Make no mistake about it, having your basement waterproofed is a messy operation and it is expensive. Nick and his men, however, did a professional job and minimized the inconvenience. I was very pleased with the whole process.

Nick came out promptly as promised and was very knowledgeable about the waterproofing process. After hearing about the story, he thought it may be better to try having the sewer lines cleaned rather than spend thousands of dollars waterproofing. He was honest and straightforward offering us a much less expensive alternative. Thanks to him, the problem has not recurred after getting the sewer lines cleaned.
