Oleg has built me several business computers over the last 15 years and has been very fair in price and maintained these units. He is brilliant technician and I have alway been 100 % satisfied most recently he repalaced motherboard abd saved our Dell XPS after a diferent service gave up on it as dead

Left laptop with Oleg Kachva to see why my laptop would not turn on. Found the motherboard to be defective. Removed hard drive and instructed me how to use this as an external drive. Said the unit is not worth fixing. I did check around for a second opinion whether to replace board or not and all companies I called, not sellers, told me the same thing, not worth fixing. I asked about there pricing for same type of service and they where all more expensive. I took my desktop unit which is having trouble for a diagnostic. I will use MICRO Xperts in the future and highly recommend them as a resource for computer repairs or troubleshooting. Very professional, fast, cost effective. They do what they say and when they say they will have it done. Excellent choice and a chance find.

After purchasing the computer I noticed that it took long periods of time to download information. I was told by the technician at Micro Xperts that I had 1.2 GB of RAM which proved to be false.
Description of Work: The computer that I bought was custom built and by hard drive had to be replaced several times. I sent the computer to my brother (who is technician) who lives in another state, and he described to quality of workmanship as being poor. He stated that the hard drive that was installed was not a new one, and that they did not install a fan to keep the computer's components cool.

My HP desktop's fan was making a lot of noise. I took it to these guys and they immediately diagnosed that it was actually the fan on the video card that was at issue. In a matter of 10 minutes a brand new card was installed and the driver was setup and tested. I left happy with a whisper quiet PC. This is not the first time I am going to Micro Xperts when it comes to any computer issues, big or small. They are Mega Xperts with microchips. Reasonable, professional, knowledgeable, friendly. Highly recommended.

I would also like to add that when Micro Xperts custom built the three systems that I bought from them, that they did not install a fan in the system to keep the components cool. After the last system that I paid to have constructed by Micro Xperts failed after only eighteen months, I shipped it to another technician who is located in Virginia. The new technician gutted the components and rebuilt the system, and sent it back to me. The new technician included games, and the capability to download movies. I gave the system to my then nine year old daughter, and she has not had any problems with it. Micro Xperts should close its doors for good.
Description of Work: I have dealt with Micro Xperts since 1994, and I did not know how much I was being taken advantage of until I used another technician in 2006. I have had three computers custom built by Micro Xperts, from 1994 through 2004. I never could understand why after having new hard drives installed, that I could never go more than eighteen months, without my hard drive crashing and me losing all of my stored files. There has been one or two occasions in which data was saved because of back up discs. I was informed by another technician, that Micro Xperts installed a used hard drive in my computer, and the 4 Giga Bytes of memory that I paid to have built into my system was never put into it. I was getting by only with several hundred Mega Bytes. That may explain why all of the systems that I ever bought from them performed very slowly. The Anti-Virus and Anti-Spam software that Micro Xperts uses is inferior as well. When I browsed the internet sites with Spam activity, and Trojan Horse Viruses, clung to my system like a magnet. Mr. Vladimir Vitlin should be ashamed to look any of his customers in the eye.

FIRST, LET ME SAY THAT WE ARE ABSOLUTELY STUNNED BY AN ALLEGATION THAT WE USE USED PARTS TO BUILD NEW SYSTEMS! THIS IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE. SECONDLY, WE HAVE KNOWN THE MEMBER SINCE 1998 AND SAW HIM LAST TIME IN JULY OF 2005. DURING THIS TIME THE MEMBER PURCHASED 2 NEW SYSTEMS AND EMPLOYED US TO DO SOME WORK (MAINLY CLEAN UP VIRUSES) ON 3 OCCASIONS. THE MEMBER PURCHASED HIS SECOND SYSTEM WITH 256MB OF RAM FOR $500 IN 2004. INVOICE CLEARLY STATES ALL COMPONENTS, INCLUDING THE AMOUNT OF RAM, TYPE AND SPEED OF CPU AND SO ON. SO WE ARE NOT SURE WHERE THE MEMBER GOT AN IDEA THAT HIS SYSTEM SHOULD HAVE 4GB RAM. A 2004 COMPUTER SYSTEM WITH 4GB RAM (VERY RARE AT THAT TIME) COULD EASILY COST FOUR TIMES AS MUCH DUE TO EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE MOTHERBOARDS THAT COULD ACCOMMODATE SUCH A BIG AMOUNT OF RAM. THIRDLY, ACCORDING TO OUR RECORDS AND INVOICES, WE HAVE NEVER REPLACED HARD DRIVES ON THE MEMBER'S COMPUTERS AND ABSOLUTELY UNAWARE OF ANY LOSS OF INFORMATION. AS A COURTESY TO OUR CUSTOMERS WE INSTALL FREE ANTI-VIRUS AND ANTI-SPYWARE SOFTWARE. WE USE THE ONES THAT RECEIVED GOOD REVIEWS FROM DIFFERENT MAGAZINES, SUCH AS MAXIMUM PC. MAINLY WE USE AVG FREE EDITION FROM GRISOFT AND WINDOWS DEFENDER FROM MICROSOFT. IF THE CUSTOMER IS NOT SATISFIED WITH OUR CHOICE HE COULD DOWNLOAD OR PURCHASE ANY SOFTWARE OF HIS CHOICE. WE ALSO TRY TO EXPLAIN TO OUR CUSTOMERS WHERE VIRUSES AND SPYWARE COME FROM AND WHAT TO DO TO MINIMIZE THE RISK OF INFECTION, BUT WE CAN NOT CONTROL WHAT CUSTOMERS DO OR WHAT SITES THEY VISIT ON THE INTERNET. I called him up, and went over to his house since he works out of his basement. I brought him my laptop and he fixed it right there within a half an hour.

These guys are great! Don't go anywhere else for your computer repairs. They saved the data from my old hard drive somehow. Their pricing is very reasonable and they do the work fast.

Reasonably priced and relatively quick turnaround. Vladimir can be a bit abrupt and didn't seem to want to answer some of my questions, but ultimately they fixed my problem honestly and fairly quickly (in 4 days). I'd use them again.
Description of Work: Windows was not starting up on my laptop. I took in my computer to Microxperts to see if they could fix it or at least save my data (which I hadn't backed up recently). They charge $60/hour, which seemed reasonable. They diagnosed the problem (bad hard drive), recovered my data, and put in a new hard drive for me.

They didn't do a great job. After I got it back the first time to turn it off I had to pull the plug. I eventually had to take it back and they didn't get it to work to my satisfaction. I keep paying them and I didn't want to pay anymore for them to do more work. In front of another customer he said "screw it, just take your computer".

ON 10/14/2005 THE MEMBER BOUGHT A KIT OF REFURBISHED PARTS WHICH INCLUDED PROCESSOR (P4 1.6), MOTHERBOARD, 256MB OF RAM AND 40GB HARD DRIVE FOR $180. WE WARRANTY REFURBISHED PARTS FOR 90 DAYS. ON JUNE 15TH OF 2006 COMPUTER WAS BROUGHT TO OUR ATTENTION HAVING PROBLEMS WITH INTERNET CONNECTION AND SPEED OF WORK. AS WE DETERMINED, PROBLEMS WERE CAUSED BY NUMEROUS VIRUSES, AND WE REMOVED ALL OF THEM ALSO CLEANED DIFFERENT SPYWARE AND ADWARE. FOR THIS SERVICE WE CHARGED HIM $60. ON JULY 22ND THE MEMBER BROUGHT COMPUTER AGAIN TO OUR STORE AND TOLD US RIGHT AWAY THAT HE IS NOT GOING TO PAY US FOR ANYTHING NO MATTER WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS. OUR TECHNICIAN CONNECTED A COMPUTER, TURNED IT ON AND MADE SURE THAT COMPUTER BOOTS NORMALLY TO A DESKTOP. AFTER THAT HE ADVISED THE MEMBER TO TAKE COMPUTER BACK HOME SINCE WE DO NOT SEE ANY PROBLEM. HE ALSO EXPLAINED THAT THE LAST TIME COMPUTER WAS “SCREWED UP BY VIRUSES” AS HE PUT IT. WE ABSOLUTELY COULD NOT USE WORD “SCREW” IN ANY OTHER MEANING. IF THE MEMBER WOULD LIKE US TO FIX ANY PROBLEM WITH HIS COMPUTER WE WOULD BE HAPPY TO HELP HIM.

HAVING BEEN QUOTED ANYWHERE FROM $100. TO $250.00 FOR DIAGNOSTIC SERVICE, I WAS STUNNED TO RECEIVE SUCH EXCELLENT RESULTS FOR SUCH A REASONABLE PRICE. THOUGH I HOPE I WON'T NEED THEIR SERVICES IN THE FUTURE (!), THIS IS THE PLACE I'LL USE AND RECOMMEND.
